It's clearly looks like new management stepped it up & renovated the car wash & I like how it's all new equipment with strong free vacuums, barely any waits in line (at this time haha) & a colorful wash ride. On my drive to work, I kept seeing a grand opening sign here for a $1 car wash but kept missing the opportunity until it increased to $3, so0o I finally decided to stop & wash my car on a nice sunny day. It's right next to Dairy Queen so make sure to slow down to not miss the entrance. You'll be able to first drive by their FREE vacuums which have spacious lots to hustle around your car without worrying about elbowing or scratching your neighbor's car. The vacuums looked all newly replaced, were strong & were able to reach around to the back of my car. Then I went for the Silver wash which is priced at $12, but the attendant stopped to share that they still have their ongoing grand opening promotion for a 30 days UNLIMITED LAVA WASH (their highest wash option) for $1!!! Such a great bargain & incentive to lure in customers! I had a colorful wash, short ride but fun and was met by hand dryers at the end. I had no issues or complaints & will be excited to return! And I just learned that you can use Unli washes at their other locations! Happy washing :) will definitely return!

One of the local joints I discovered, a hole-in-the-wall just a few blocks away from my apartment, was listed on Google, but I really was taken back by its appearance - it really looks like a hole-in-the-wall - enough that I avoided the place for the next year... Well, I cannot express to you enough about what a mistake it was for me to avoid El Primo Hand Car Wash in Garfield, NJ! Today, I decided to take a chance and drive up to the entrance of El Primo; and it's a little confusing. El Primo is located next to a body shop, so it's not entirely clear which entrance to approach in your vehicle; I'm used to drive-thru car washes with one entrance, one exit; El Primo has one entry/exit, so their capacity is quite low. However, that's not necessarily a bad thing... The caballeros inside are highly attentive to the vehicle they're cleaning, since they're never overloaded. The only downside I can see is if you're one of the unlucky ones who had to wait their turn outside: you have to park in the street and simply wait... Bummer. Just keep in mind the awesome service that is about to come! The hand wash is fast and effective - no streaks in the glass. They do a nice vacuum job and they Armor All the entire dash as well as door panels. They even wipe the (frequently missed) dirty parts of the doors - you know, those places that can't be cleaned by automatic washes when the doors are closed. Lastly, the wheels: if you've got rims, trust no other. They do an amazing job on rims and hub caps, and they literally gloss the ties with a paint brush (yeah, a paint brush!). Now, the best part... When I pulled up to check out the place I met a guy with an Audi A4 in the wash. I asked him about the rate and he replied, "$15... but I give them $20 and it's worth it!" The guy comes to El Primo all the way from Nutley! (This means El Primo is perhaps one of the best car washes for miles!) I gave $20 for the (in my words) mini-detailing of my Malibu... and it's worth it. Go there.

Full detail, Opti glass are my current options since we took my car back in again. I hadn't been here for the past couple of years, it was time to check in again. We recently purchased a bigger car and immediately, my husband returned to get another Opti coat pro plus and Opti glass to his new car. I cant say enough good things about the work they do, the people who work there and the prices, everything is great. PROS: The car wash, I get the more expensive one where they do the windows and clean inside I think it's 20-25? Super reasonable considering the work they do. Workers are cool and personable, very easy to work with. Their other services like detailing and waxing etc I've never used but I've seen their work on a few cars and super reasonable. CONS: as much as I like this place and even credited them 4 stars, they do a lot of dealer work and open very early, which means close very early, I've rushed from work a few times to get a car wash around 4 pm and they have turned me down saying they are closing, I hate going to do stuff like that on the weekend so that is my only gripe with them be it a small one. I was the only car on this afternoon when I pulled in so went for the full detail. I requested the VIP package which I felt was worth every penny! Pedro and his team really jumped in and addressed every nook and cranny! They washed the mats, vacuumed, dried the outside, wiped down the interior and windows and gave it some extra attention inside to! Pedro was even able to take care of some tree sap on the hood that we just couldn't get off. And the best part was they did it all in less than hour while continuing to address the 4-5 cars that came right after I did.
