Then 3 hours later, I get an email stating my appointment has been rescheduled for same day at 11 am. I tried to call the salon to figure out why the change occurred, and there was no answer. The voicemail said a text was better and you'd receive a quicker response, so I did that. But, no response. A little while later, I tried calling again and there was still no answer, so I left a voicemail this time and followed up on my text message. Still no response. I even called a third time, but to no avail. I figured I would still show up to my appointment at the originally scheduled 1:30 time, since they're open 9-5. When I arrived, the door was locked and no one was inside. I called again but obviously no one answered the phone. I even checked all social media platforms to see if possibly they closed for personal reasons or anything stating why no one was answering my call and no one was in the salon. Needless to say, there was no information provided on what was going on. I just wanted a simple, quick trim and was excited to try this place out since I just moved to the area and needed a new salon, and the reviews were great. But after this experience, I can't understand why or what happened. I will not be coming back here, I'm so disappointed.

I admit these were some big shoes to fill especially since I have my hair cut every 4 weeks, my hair is rather defiant, but I want it to always look nice. I was very impressed with the coziness of the New Beginnings salon, the ability to obtain an appointment that was timely and convenient, the warm feeling of friendship and esteem between the staff, the respect and concern they showed the customers, the quality of my haircut by Jessica and the very reasonable price. They even provide a discount for seniors, military and college students. Jessica took the time to listen to the concerns I have about my hair, the look I was trying to achieve and she genuinely wanted to make sure I left happy - which I certainly did!
