Terrible. Slow service and communication. The transmission in the van blew up literally 48 hours after I picked it up. Do not buy from them.

Our son was hit and his car was totaled while driving from Nebraska to Florida, so once he arrived in Florida, we began working with Johnny based on the great reviews we had seen about him. Johnny was incredibly responsive throughout the entire process. Anytime he wasn't sure about something, he immediately involved a manager or found the right person to make sure all of our questions were answered. He even drove to my son to get paperwork signed and personally delivered the car to him! Buying a car from afar is no small feat for the buyer or the dealership, and Johnny made the entire process so much easier. We feel very fortunate to have worked with Johnny, Josh, and the team at Clearwater Toyota. They made a stressful situation as smooth as possible and took a huge amount of stress off this mama! Truly the best. Thank you so much, Johnny!

We got in touch with a sales associate to setup an appointment and it was smooth sailing from the minute we walked in the door. We sort of knew what we wanted and did a quick test drive. When we returned we went over the financials as well as a quote for our trade in. It was a no brainer. Our sales associate along with the general sales manager went through every rebate that Ford was offering to get us the best possible price and they came through. When we met with the finance manager he was very easy to work with and explained everything in a simple manner. He wasn't pushy, didn't try to sell us additional warranties and whatnot. He made sure to tell us about everything that Walker Ford offers and we did, in fact, order the tire warranty, which has already paid for itself. Our sales associate, Amy Potter was terrific. The General Sales Manager, Ivey Thigpen was a pleasure to work with along with everyone we talked to in the building. There is no doubt in my mind that our next vehicle will be purchased at Walker Ford.

Upon arriving, service rep Don informed me they didn't have the part in stock to do the needed work. Said I should have called to schedule, not scheduled through the (official) Ford app so they could have told me if if they had the part or not. I told him people do a lot through apps, and the app didn't say there would be a problem with my appointment or I should call instead. I said the receptionist called to confirm my appointment on 9/1, she could have checked with a service rep or technician to see if the part was on hand and told me to postpone my visit. I dove a half an hour and wasted my time to come to an appointment for them to tell me they didn't have the safety recall part on-hand. I said he should tell his manager the system is flawed. He said he wished it was different, and his manager wasn't there. He then said they won't have the part until 9/21 - if the part even comes in. He said call to find out and schedule an appointment. I said he should call me, so he hesitantly agreed (I felt like I was inconveniencing him) and told me he would reschedule me to Saturday, 9/26 (although I received no confirmation text yet). I told him I never had this problem with Honda and this left a bad taste in my mouth having my first Ford vehicle. I chose Walker's because of the good reviews. I left very disappointed. Got a text message this morning (9/6) saying "sorry" you missed your appointment and I should reschedule. Salt in the wound... UPDATE (10/4): Don (or anyone else from Walker) ever followed up with me, or reached out in September. No appointment was set up for the recall (or maybe they just didn't notify me). There were no apologies about this issue after my initial review - which says a lot about their lack of professionalism in my opinion. Since this was a serious recall, I felt compelled to contact a different local Ford business - Ferman Ford. Caden said they had the recall part on hand and I could make an appointment anytime. I made it for 9/19. They did the repair within the timeframe Caden told me, and even took care of removing a dealer sticker on the paint (I asked if they could do that, if possible). Ferman Ford is where I'll do my business going forward.

Just bought a car..but please read: Hertz car sales offer 2…read moretypes of sales: Cars that are Hertz certified and on the lot and Cars that are rent to own, still in the rental pool but are ready to be pulled. Both offer preset pricing, so no haggling. Fiirst, their web site sucks. It is slow, search parameters do not correctly reflect options on the cars. I found a 2013 Infinity JX35, 17k miles at a great price! but website did not indicate Navigation. I called around within HERTZ and NO one could tell me whether it did or did not. As I was coming in from out of town, I did not want to get there and find out the car did NOT have navigation. I ended up calling the Sarasota location (even though the pick up was at a Tampa location) and within an hour these guys got me the details. As a result, I flew in from Chicago and did the rent to own, and 3 days later, I am in the process of buying the car. While I was down there, I met John and all of the sales guys..I typically HATE car sales guys, but these guys were great! and knowledgeable about the cars and process. Here is the letter I wrote to the general manager: SUBJECT: John Coyle --an example of excellent customer service Jeries- I have been using Hertz Sales web site to search for my next car purchase over the last month. I have found that the site's search results do not accurately reflect the options/features that vehicle actually has. Earlier this week, I found a 2013 Infinity JX30 that is under the 'rent to buy' program. It indicated that the car was out of the Tampa sales office (I am located in Chicago). I have called customer service a couple of times and they apparently can only see what the customer sees...so they could NOT confirm whether the unit I am interested in had Navigation. So I called a Tampa sales office and talked to John Coyle. He said that the sales location he is at is not currently involved in the 'rent-to-buy' program, but he would be happy to help me get answers to my questions. He took my name, number and the car's unit and VIN numbers and said he would follow up. In less than an hour, John called me back and said he had talked to a department that confirmed that the original invoice for 'my' car indicates it had Navigation. Additionally, he went on to make sure I understood the warranty differences when buying a 'rent-to-buy' vs buying a Hertz certified vehicle. I feel that John went above and beyond, especially considering his office does not even offer the 'rent-to-buy' program..and hence, his office will not 'get the sale'. His knowledge of the program and the process is excellent and he made sure I understood everything. He got me answers that no one else seemed to be able to provide me. Bottom line, because of John, I am reserving the vehicle with all intentions to purchase it. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or clarifications. Thank You!

Lo and behold Mike Bennett has returned to the dealership after the last two plus years away from the fold. As had previously been the case, Mike is totally on top of things and as detail oriented as it gets. All I can say is that Tasca is very lucky to have such a hard worker...One small example is when he asked whether I was gonna wait for my car or no. He then went quickly thru the advantage and disadvantage of both. While I already knew I was not going to wait, these small details are what made Dick Norris a great dealership for keeping my Athena car up and running. It continues now with the Tasca name and so long as the rest of this dealership keeps it going in the same direction...uh: I find myself happy yet simultaneously shocked to offer kudos and praise to a car dealership. Meanwhile, here is where I bought my Athena car brand new a few years back (thanks to Mickey). Here continues to be where I have her taken care of too...and that's that.

Anyone know a good lawyer, lmk When we returned to the dealer to our surprise they clearly didn't want our business only to make money off of us on the financing. That was a hard no!! Who is anyone to tell you how your legal tender must arrive and to be able to decline a payment. The smug F&I manager held his ground while the young salesman lost a sale. The kept it another day and removed the correct seat this time. When I went to pay, I noticed a total of 8 hours of labor. Which is ridiculous as my service rep texted me "All done" 2 hours after the technician started working on it the 2nd day. Which obviously means he took ONLY 2 hours the first day. Therefore, a Total of 4 hours should be billed as I have proof of her text to me "All Don" just 2 hours after he started. I have tried to communicate that to the service rep which she directed me to her manager. He did not call me the whole next day and it seems he's blowing me off as I haven't received a call from him the following day or even today, which is July 6th*
