I was looking for a last minute facial but stumbled across Katia's and saw the buccal massage feature. While the buccal massage is not a facial (you can get a facial as an add on if you would like they do cleanse your face before starting and serum/tone/moisturize post massage)I was extremely curious. The experience is extremely unique and the service was 10/10. The facility is extremely clean and welcoming. I loved the decor and the natural lighting throughout the space. I also really like its on the second floor it gives it a private entrance vibe. I like that it does not feel like a "shop" if that makes sense. I was immediately greeted upon getting upstairs and was able to get in a room and ready. The bed and covers are so comfortable, my esthetician was knowledgeable, gave me great at home tips, and provided an amazing experience. I will definitely be returning.

Like other Yelpers have reported, I was also offered to add an additional service to what I initially went for. However, she suggested I add the acne extraction, and I felt like it was a fair offer. My acne was really bad (I blame the end of my semester from grad school). She was very detailed and took her time with all my services - facial, microdermabrasion, and acne extraction. I was worried I'd have scarring afterwards from the acne extraction, but she reassured me that I wouldn't. I will say, it was pretty painful, but WORTH IT. My skin looks sooo much better now. It's so smooth and my acne hasn't been back. I did look and feel butchered right after, but healed well after a few days. She also suggested I use a spot fader (picture attached), which I purchased there. That stuff is magic! I had a great experience so I would recommend this place. Good customer service and I felt like what I paid matched the outcomes. I will also mention, like others have, that this isn't necessarily a place where you get in a robe and sip champagne - I've been to others like this in Austin, TX. This place is more plain and simple.

When I arrived, Tina was the one assisting at the front desk and she was also the person who performed my facial. During the appointment, she examined my skin and told me that I have combination skin and that I had build-up in my pores. She recommended an additional service called "pore therapy," which she described as a device/pen that suctioned the buildup out of the pores. She told me this service would cost an additional $80, which I agreed to at the time. However, I want to point out that I have been to many small businesses and estheticians before, and they usually provide much better service for significantly less money than what this place charges. So for anyone booking through Groupon, be aware that the pore suction/extraction service is NOT included and will be charged as an extra add-on. Unfortunately, the biggest issue was that during the extraction process Tina left a scar on my face. I have never had this mark on my face before visiting this place, and it appeared after the facial. (Photos attached.) Another frustrating situation happened today, 03/11/25. When I originally visited on 02/13/25, Tina gave me a gift card, which I accepted. When I came back today to use it, she told me it was a misunderstanding and that the gift card was not valid. A misunderstanding that was HER fault for not reading her screen correctly. This was extremely frustrating because I took the time to go back, and I had even texted them beforehand about the gift card, so they were aware that I planned to come in and use it. So not only did I leave my first appointment with a scar on my face, but I also wasted my time returning for a gift card that they later refused to honor. In my opinion, the bare minimum that could have been done to make the situation right would have been to honor the gift card, provide a valid replacement, or at least offer a discounted service or product. I even tried to negotiate with her, but instead she told me to "go to Ulta and buy it there if they have it," especially after I mentioned the product was priced about the same as it would be at Ulta. Overall, this experience was very disappointing and unprofessional. My advice to anyone considering this place is to be cautious about what is promised or promoted, especially if you are booking through Groupon. PLEASE think twice before spending your money here. In my experience, it was not worth it.

I recommend trying one if you have never had one. Your face will feel clean and loved. I also got my eyebrows waxed for the first time. Brandy "mapped" my eyebrows and put them on a growth plan! Takes 3 minutes to sugar underarms and such a minimal amount of $ - so yes, that's greedy. In which I do not mind at all - I'm very easy and understanding. I am big on referrals and ironically the morning this happened I had just referred a few gfs to her. I am very friendly. I tip well and extra on holidays. I'm understanding with timing. Etc. for her not to accommodate me with a slap on the wrist as a new customer, was my sign to move on from this place! I even had had an upcoming appointment a couple weeks out and canceled that (lost my deposit on that) - but that's okay, I believe everything in life comes back tenfold when you are kind, compassionate and generous. Greed never wins! I also text her letting her know I was late due to the passing of my grandmother as I was in the middle of arranging her funeral and I left my house frantic - missed the exit. She is so helpful at handling whatever flare-ups I'm having, and uses quality products. Her space is very clean and she is to keep everything sanitary. When I arrived, I had to fill out a brief form. Carolina was wearing a medical grade mask when I arrived. My eyebrow wax was quick and painless. Carolina chatted with my to pass the time. My eyebrows look great and I had no reaction to the wax. Carolina gave me some hydrocortisone cream and my redness was gone by the time I arrived home. Carolina wiped down every door knob and surface I touched- I felt very safe. I would happily come back. RENUDE also has a great parking lot so no need to street park.
