I have yet to find someone who can do a blowout as effective or as fast as hers, plus she's really sweet. Only issues I've had at the salon were two: -one time I didn't get Julia and the new lady who did my hair (not sure if she still works there) seemed to be very uncomfortable doing natural hair. She took a long time and my hair was not straight when I left. I had to go back to get it re-done the next day. Obviously this should have been free, but the owner still charged me for the special conditioner and other "extra" services I hadn't asked for. Ridiculous. Piggybacking off that, yes, if they want to add a special conditioner or want to flat-iron your hair, they will make you pay extra, but often won't tell you that in advance, so ask the price every time they offer something.

I like that she is very involved in your satisfaction, never rushes and needs to know you are happy. She also did my girl friends curly hair awhile back and again another customer amazed at the results. She moved out of state and can not find another Maya. I called about a week out and was able to make an appt with Yoly for a cut & color. She did a great job, I absolutely LOVED how my hair turned out. She was super nice and made sure I was happy with my hair before I left. While I was there, I saw their makeup/hair stylist Erica doing someone's makeup and it looked amazing so I asked Michele, the owner if Erica might be available to do my hair and makeup for a wedding I was going to and she was so we scheduled the appt. Fast forward to this past weekend, I had my appt with Erica for my hair and makeup and I seriously could not be happier with the final product. I got SO many compliments all night. Erica was so sweet and worked so fast which I loved! I was there for about an hour and 15 minutes total. I will definitely be using Erica again for future events. I'm so glad to have found a salon where they do great work and I feel comfortable!

She recommended I don't go with the highlights and only do color correction since I colored my hair jet black with box die. Lol don't judge me I have no time for hair maintenance. She was kind, understanding, explained things , did not rush me , I get at ease I didn't feel that I was pushed to get anything I didn't need or would damage my hair further and that I greatly appreciate.
