The energy in the room is incredible you can feel how much the owners and staff genuinely care about what they're doing. What an incredible dinner! We ate here on a recommendation from a friend- it's a nondescript store front in a strip mall and the parking can be scarce so know this- However, it is well worth it! A small, family run Italian restaurant- small inside but a huge presence! The service is wonderful- friendly, chanting and mostly Italian born family members of the owner. The food is great and the menu is small - everything we had was great! Fresh made pasta and authentic combinations of vegetables, sea food etc. The best part is the atmosphere! It was our first visit to Vino Vino, a hidden gem in a strip mall along Siesta Dr. For me it was literally hidden, I remember seeing it before but didn't realize it was even a restaurant. My wife sleuthed it out and suggested we go. Checking out the menu beforehand I learned it was a small regional Italian restaurant. Reviews talk about it being a locally owned place. Supporting local businesses enriches us all. Chef/owner Ciro and his best friend Svet were very much a part of an enjoyable evening. Dean Martin was also there in spirit and there was singing. Whatever I had decided from looking at the menu was replaced by a couple of specials that my wife and I shared. The meal started with Focaccia bread, soft and airy with a garbanzo bean spread. For first course we had a pasta special, Ricotta Cheese Gnocchi, delicious with a pink sauce. There was citrus and mint involved, my wife noticed, I'm not as refined. We also ordered a side of spaghetti so we could sample that and we both really liked it. For our second course we had their Veal Braciole Special. This too was an excellent choice. Ciro explained the time and many steps to prepare this dish. It is a rolled veal with a sauce/gravy, situated atop mashed potatoes. This was a hardy entrée and we brought some home. We finished the meal with the Italian classic, Tiramisu. It was even better than it looked, and it was beautiful. Make a reservation. We decided to go to Vino Vino and made a reservation the day before. Although the restaurant was not full for our visit, we learned some days it is and as we approach the season, most if not all days will be booked in advance. read more

If you're looking for "real" Italian food, this is the place! Walking into this Small and intimate place, we were met with smiling and generous hosts- the owners and chefs themselves! Explaining where the food is from, how it's made, and the history behind the menu helped to make the night. They have amazing wines, and they make their own pasta daily- plus they import ItlIan olive oil, balsamic and ingredients to make their pasta from scratch every day. The atmosphere made us all feel comfortable, like sitting at our own table. All our food was very well prepared, and the taste was even better than the smell. They give you time- time to enjoy the wine, time to enjoy the appetizers, time to enjoy your friends before your main course arrives. This is just the kind of place I didn't know I was looking for. If there was a downside, not a big fan of the ambience... too dark inside. I love the food at this restaurant, third time there and it does not disappoint. My one complaint is the noise level. Why is it that a table of 4 people need to shout at their dining companions. I turned around twice to show my displeasure, they did not get the hint. Another table of 8 were wicked loud, but more understandable. This place is what all restaurants should be. Wow wow wow! I heard wow come out of multiple people's mouths at our table of 6. Everything I ate was fresh and tasty. They make fresh pasta and bread daily. They use flour from Italy so no issues digesting and tastes fabulous. The owners are charismatic and sing with the whole restaurant. So fun and festive! There are only a handful of tables in the restaurant. It's super cozy and you feel like you're having dinner with family. Everything we had was absolutely delicious. On our vacation in Florida, my wife and I stumbled upon this lovely little spot using the Seed Oil Scout app. Despite the restaurant's humble appearance from the outside, the authenticity of the food, friendly staff, and intimate setting make it a one of a kind dining experience and a MUST for anybody who appreciates authentic Italian cuisine. They have a nice simple menu with a few specials and a nice wine list. The atmosphere inside was cozy and intimate and brought back nostalgia of our honeymoon in Italy. Overall - 10/10 Food - from the homemade bread to the made in house that day pasta down to the made in house deserts, everything was spectacular. You could taste the passion in every bite, the own fees put their pride and sole into this place and it really shows. Ciro is the perfect host and chef. He called me back on a Tuesday when the restaurant is closed so I could make a reservation. He greeted us with the friendliness of a great friend and took time to describe the pasta he makes and which ones are featured in the specials. We tried the pesto and shrimp linguine and the baked gnocchi. Indescribably delicious and oh so fresh. His focaccia comes with the meal and was also perfection. When people say hidden gem that's really accurate. We live near here and never noticed it until recently. You wouldn't go if you based decision on its location and exterior. But man, just go because the food is awesome. Homemade bread and pasta. I had round pasta cooked special to their location in Italy. Beef and pork Ragu. Cooked perfect.
