I love this place!…read more They have an amazing selection of candy. Some sold in bulk, others by the piece/package. The staff is really helpful and friendly

We stopped by Candy Galore n' More in Melbourne, FL with my daughter, and she was super excited to…read moretry their rock candy shaped like actual rocks--but made of chocolate. It looked really cool and neat, like something out of a geology kit turned into candy! But honestly, it wasn't as amazing as it sounded. The chocolate was super hard (almost like biting into a real rock at first), so it took some serious crunching. My daughter liked the novelty, but it wasn't her favorite. That said, I really enjoyed the smaller rock-shaped chocolate candies--they were much easier to eat and had a nice chocolatey taste without being overly tough. The store had a crazy variety of stuff in stock, which was awesome. They had chocolate-covered coffee beans (not the most exciting pick for everyone, but I was happy they were there and fresh), tons of different jelly beans in all flavors, and so many other treats to choose from. It's a great place if you love browsing and finding unique or classic candies. The selection kept us entertained for a while, and it's a fun family stop in the area. We'll definitely go back to try more things! Highly recommend for anyone with a sweet tooth looking for variety. Just maybe skip the giant rock chocolate unless you love a real workout for your jaw!

As soon as you walk in to the store you are transported to a magical land of candy. You can find one of a kind sweets and candy you haven't seen since your childhood. Aunt Laurie's carries a wide variety of confections including house made chocolates, nostalgic favorites like moon pies, pop rocks and wax bottles, novelty candy like gummy Lunchables, candied nuts, taffy, fudge, truffles, rock candy, chocolate roses, caramels, popcorn, and children's toys and beanies. The candy may be filled with sugar but nothing is sweeter than Aunt Laurie who wants to be everyone's favorite Aunt. She greets you with a silver tray of candy because you are family and no one can walk around her store without eating candy. I wanted to purchase a chocolate dipped pretzel covered in Rolos and she insisted on gifting it to me along with a freshly dipped chocolate covered Oreo. I had to insist on buying something so I purchased a chocolate dipped pretzel covered in Snow Caps. The chocolate dipped treats were amazing. I wish I had gotten more but I had a long day ahead of me in a hot car. Next time I visit I will be sure to bring a cooler. Auntie Laurie also does gift baskets and party favors. If your child is celebrating a birthday be sure to bring them in to visit Aunt Laurie for her special love and attention. The candy is wonderful but just being around Aunt Laurie is enough to put a smile on your face.

If you go through Rockledge you have to stop at Grimaldi Candies, founded by Vincent Grimaldi,…read moreMelbourne's Candy Man. Grimaldi was a 10th-generation Italian confectioner. In 1961 while strolling the snack aisle in Miami he got the idea to cover potato chips in chocolate and the rest his history. Since 1969 Grimaldi's has been famous for their Chips N Chocolate, chocolate covered potato chips. They are also known for their Ghost Pepper Caramels and Key Lime Truffles. All of the treats are made with high quality ingredients and without additives or preservatives. Grimaldi sold his namesake business in 1999 when he retired. Jim and Trisha Frazier became the fourth owners of Grimaldi's when they purchased the business in 2014. Today, Grimaldi Candy Co. is one of the largest specialty chocolate manufacturers in the southeastern United States. This is the production plant and cute retail store on U.S. 1 in Rockledge and there is also a retail store at The Avenue Viera. You can book a factory tour for your visit here. For the longest time I have wanted to stop at Grimaldi's whenever I passed the exit but I was always in a rush to reach somewhere else. I finally got the chance to visit this summer and the experience did not disappoint. As soon as I came in I was warmly welcomed and offered a sampling tray of their classic treats including the Key Lime Truffle. They sell bark, the chocolate covered chips in milk and dark chocolate, caramels, fudge, truffles, dipped treats, and more. They even have sugar free options. They also have a little boutique area selling gift items like water bottles, wallets, hats, jewelry, and bath items. After serious deliberation I left with a box of Chips N' Chocolate, white and milk chocolate haystacks, Pecan Rum Bark, and coffee truffles. My haul will last me a long time. The white haystack was especially creamy and delicious. Grimaldi's chocolate is rich and you can taste the difference. If you want to be the most popular person at your next gathering, show up with a box of the Chips N' Chocolate. They are the the perfect addictive combination of salty sweet. You can't go wrong with any of the treats here. It is easy to see why they have stood the test of time.

Rockledge? Why are we going to Rockledge? I asked my friend. "There's nothing in Rockledge." …read more... WRONG!!! There is Grimaldi Candies. The star of the show there is the chocolate covered chips which you can choose either milk, or dark. They're ridiculously good! I have to say though, my personal favorite from here is the dark chocolate covered pretzels with the ghost pepper chili; omg.. sooo good if you're a fan of spicy sweet items. I love how my lips are tingling afterwards! The absolute cure for when you're having a rough day ladies; do it! P.S. - They ship. Just call and make arrangements.
