Went there Saturday for an ice cream my daughter has been wanting and seeing on instagram. The store is exactly what it says!! Candy galore.. candy from EVERYWHERE world wide. My girls got the frozen mango and peach ice cream things.. not sure what they're called. I got some fresh chocolates. The staff member was super sweet. She pointed out new stuff we should try. The store was busy with lots of customers, the place was clean and smelled like candy. We will be back for more delicious sweets! read more

We stopped by Candy Galore n' More in Melbourne, FL with my daughter, and she was super excited to try their rock candy shaped like actual rocks--but made of chocolate. It looked really cool and neat, like something out of a geology kit turned into candy! But honestly, it wasn't as amazing as it sounded. The chocolate was super hard (almost like biting into a real rock at first), so it took some serious crunching. My daughter liked the novelty, but it wasn't her favorite. That said, I really enjoyed the smaller rock-shaped chocolate candies--they were much easier to eat and had a nice chocolatey taste without being overly tough. The store had a crazy variety of stuff in stock, which was awesome. They had chocolate-covered coffee beans (not the most exciting pick for everyone, but I was happy they were there and fresh), tons of different jelly beans in all flavors, and so many other treats to choose from. It's a great place if you love browsing and finding unique or classic candies. The selection kept us entertained for a while, and it's a fun family stop in the area. We'll definitely go back to try more things! Highly recommend for anyone with a sweet tooth looking for variety. Just maybe skip the giant rock chocolate unless you love a real workout for your jaw! read more

When I asked about the spoonful of pistachio filling in it the owner said it was the same, gaslit me to think I was imagining that I bought 15 of these before and now all of a sudden I'm complaining. I usually keep my reviews focused on the food, but what happened here deserves to be shared. I visit and review places all over Melbourne. Restaurants, bakeries, cafes, and yes, even candy stores like this one. I stopped by this one with my daughter after lunch. She was excited, ran in ahead of me while I was still walking over from Dicks. By the time I walked in, she looked completely shaken. The woman behind the counter had accused her of stealing. My daughter hadn't even touched anything yet; she was just looking around, like any kid would. The only reason? She walked in without an adult. She came out of that store crying. Full-on tears. Over candy. Look, I've eaten at holes in the wall and five-star restaurants, and service always matters. It's one thing to keep an eye out for theft, it's another to treat a child like a suspect just for being alone for 30 seconds. We didn't buy anything. And we won't be back. There are plenty of places in Melbourne where you can get sweets and be treated with basic decency. Was definitely looking forward to buying the candies from my childhood as well as the new popular choices. I was also on the lookout for a place to buy candies from for gifts. The cashier seemed semi friendly but also gave off the impression that she is trying to get you out of her face as fast as possible. Unfortunately this will be my first & last time buying from this establishment. I have explanations on the photos but I will reiterate here. This was the last stop before we left the mall so I did not notice problems until I arrived home. Two days after purchase I saw that the nougat was expired by 3 months. Then the taffy was not separating from it's cardboard backing even after placing it in the fridge as a possible solution. I also noticed that all of the items did not ring up as listed on the shelves. I only noticed at first while in the store that the fudge was listed as $5.99 but rang up as $6.23. When I inquired why, the cashier told me something about a fee. I thought it was for that item alone I didn't know it was for all the items. Which as everyone knows little amounts on every item do add up. She also said something about a fee if you use your card but it didn't really make sense to me. Every where else I've shopped only applied a fee if your total purchase was under a certain dollar amount. The fee part I don't understand I guess I could ask them again but that paired with the condition of the candies will lead me to not shop there again. read more

I usually don't go out of my way to buy candy given the fact I eat clean and healthy most of the time and work out. However, if it is one of my cheat days and I am in Melbourne Square Mall, I will more than gladly stop by Candy Galore N More to get my favorite treats which includes chocolate bacon. You heard that right. I said chocolate bacon. :P Candy Galore N More is located right near the Dick's Sporting Goods mall entrance on the west side. Upon entering, you are treated with a wide array of candies including old favorites you cannot find anywhere else these days. I saw candy button strips, Necco wafer candy rolls, and Bit-O-Honeys. That is the depth of their selection. However, there are two parts that stand out in the candy store's selection: the jelly beans and the candy case. Starting with the former, there is a huge selection of jelly beans patrons can pick from mixing and matching them in a bag sold by weight. Many flavors are available from the classics to more like Harry Potter's "Bernie Bott's Every Flavor Jelly Beans" flavors. The latter is the candy case which has cookies, chocolate covered goods (including chocolate bacon), and the like. I personally like the Nutter Butters covered in chocolate. They are delicious. Overall, I gave Candy Galore N More four out of five stars, but the extra star comes in for how friendly and nice the owners are. I find myself having a nice and lengthy conversation with the guys and they even remember my name. That is a huge plus in my opinion especially when I only go in the shop once in awhile. read more

Stopped in to this candy store for some last minute snacks n' candy. Jennifer the store owner was more than helpful with directing me towards some candies! This candy store is now one of my favorites to go too. Will recommend to friends and family! All the bad reviews I seen are outrageous, if you cannot follow her store rules then do not go! When I got to the register, the sweet man behind the counter made a special effort to make certain I understood that i was purchasing sugar free items and had not done it accidentally (sugar-free candies don't always agree with sensitive bellies). The sales associate Ron in the store was incredibly rude. He stared at me and my friends as if we were going to steal something and when I sampled a piece of candy, he yelled at me in front of everyone and held an extremely condescending tone. He threatened to make me pay for the whole entire case of candy and I did. He harassed me as if he was some kind of a police officer and used very vulgar language. On top of that, the entire store reeked of some kind of smoke- maybe cigarettes or marijuana. Overall terrible experience. read more

The old man behind the counter went on rambling about his religion---I'm not sure if he was referring to a legitimate religion or cult-like practices. I had a rather annoying experience with this candy shop earlier today. I passed by on my way out of the mall. I was in a hurry to pick up my sister but I thought she might like some candy so I stopped in really quickly and put her treats in a bag. At the checkout, the man working tried my credit card four times along with another card before calling over another man who was working who did the exact same thing. At this point I was really running late and couldn't leave my sister at her summer camp past the set time. The man at the cash register, after nearly 15 minutes then shrugs and says "the machine doesn't work" and walks away while the other man blankly stares at me. What really annoyed me was not that the machine wasn't working but that the candy was only $4 and they had now wasted my time doing the same thing. Any store with good customer service would have just told me to go on my way with the candy because it was their fault, but after 15 minutes they took the bag of candy back (rather disgusting if they put it back in the containers) and I was basically just out of luck. Great time, candy is delicious and reasonably priced, as are the baked goods. the customer service could not have been better! The employees were incredibly nice and understanding when it comes to paying for the treats, we went in and added money to Rons tip jar and he generously offered us a couple of more pieces of candy for our tip.
