The food is way overpriced. i ordered the steak, which cost 20 euro. i had the same size in Firenze I'Brindellone, it costed me 10 euro ONLY, and it tastes better! The bill comes at 27.5 euro, I paid 30 and he asked 2.5 as TIPS. when did we start giving tips in Italy? It doesn't feel right. If i want to tip I will say : keep the change. It is hard to find a sit down place in Rome before 12 and this one was open. It looked decent but when we sat down and looked at the menu everything on there had an asterisk indicating that it may be frozen. After seeing that we got a little worried about how the food would be. We opted to share a pizza instead which was in the display case. The pizza was served cold which the server pointed out to us when we picked it. It was actually really good. So despite our worry the food (at least the one item we got) was great. In order to use credit card you have to spend 12€. read more

Found this gem looking in the neighborhood. It's a quaint spot filled with lots of wine of course. We were really craving a board of meat and cheese, and we were not disappointed at all! Got aperol spritzes, a beautiful meat and cheese board, and a lasagna to split. The meat and cheese board was absolutely amazing! Our waitress explained each one to us although I didn't exactly follow I wanted to try it all anyway lol. The lasagna wasn't the best I've ever had, but it was good. The meat sauce was a little plain, but the pasta was cooked well. The spritzes were good as well! I liked this spot, the service was friendly and everything was clean. Prices were reasonable too. They did try to upsell me on the food and drink, I chose the upsell on the wine and it was fantastic, I didn't go with the upsell on the food and it was also fantastic. Wow!! This place does NOT Disappoint,, we had an AMAZING Time here, on our last day and night in Roma, such a pleasant experience that really truly made our Italian vacation end on a beautiful note. Initially, we were just walking by, it wasn't quite time to eat yet, it was late morning, early lunch time, and we were headed to the Pantheon. The kind and bubbly host was out front, trying to entice us to come in. But we told her, No, maybe later... Honestly, at first glance, when walking by, I thought it looked like a great place to eat, and they had several specials advertised out front, and I figured, oh, at least we know where we can come for lunch/or dinner. But as I said, we were passing by...eventually, later, thankfully, we strolled by again, and our gracious bubbly super hospitable host was more than happy to see us again and welcome us in to eat. And o boy did we eat, and eat and eat! and drink and.... We had an absolutely fantastic memorable time, thanks to our benevolent host who turns out to be the owner/daughter and her dad was there as well the owner/father : ) they treated us like family , a great father- daughter team ! They are running an excellent business of seven years going strong ...really delicious food and drink and a wonderful time was had here, and for that we are forever thankful read more

Tourist trap 100%. They definitely took advantage of us, charged us 3 euros for a bread that we didn't order and it was 4 tiny pieces of bread, not worth it. When I talked to the person in charge about the bread she just shrugged and said: that is the price! Also, on their board it was written water price as 1.50 but they charged us 2 Euros claiming 1.50 was for a bottle. A tiny portion of simple pasta with only tomato sauce for my daughter was 10 Euros while in nicer places it's 8 euros and much tastier. I ordered the grilled chicken, it was tasty but teeny tiny with just a few leaves of arugula for 12 Euros. So small that the staff kept asking if I wanted more food. Probably the most expensive, small and mediocre meal I had in Rome during our visit. I highly suggest you skip it. read more

The ravioli with wrappings inside I ordered contained only three small pieces (and priced at €15), the description says it has sage but I did not tasted the flavor. We had spicy salami pizza and pesto gnocchi lunch special and it was amazing. The ratio of pesto sauce to gnocchi was fantastic and the pizza was large enough for two people to share. The waitress was super friendly and came to check on us multiple times! Meal comes with free wifi too! read more

Cute place but really a big ripoff. They charge 3 Euros for four TINY pieces of bread. 12 Euros for two small pieces of chicken and a few leaves of arugula . At Least the chicken was tasty. My girlfriend and I wandered around looking for a place to eat until we stumbled upon this restaurant. Mauricio invited us in without being pushy like most of the other restaurants in the area. He was very friendly and suggested dishes we might like. We started with a seared ahi salad, which was delicious, and then came the pizza (paired with wine of course). The service was great, food was phenomenal, and the price was significantly less than any comparable meal in the US. If you're in the area looking at the Pantheon or Piazza Navona, I would recommend eating here! read more

Walking the streets of Rome we unexpectedly ran into this perfectly comfortable restaurant for lunch. As a lunch special for 10 euros, they have a delicious homemade Vegetarian and meat Lasagna. The manger treated us to a wine sampling which helped us decide the exact enjoyable paring with our food. The first day all four of us had one of their lunch specials that included chicken Marsala and choice of grilled veggies or fries, tiramisu or panna cotta and wine or beer (full pours) for 14 euro. This restaurant was close to our Air BnB and stopped here twice for dinner on separate days. The restaurant is tended by 2 servers (a lady & gentelman) and sustainable by the two given that it is a small but quaint place. We had ordered cheese & meat platter which typical is for two but we wanted a smaller version as an appetizer so he accommodated in size and price accordingly. I had a steak dinner- nothing amazing but decent. My wife had a pizza dish with wine. We were on our honeymoon and so the waiter treated us to a couple glasses of Lemoncello (Italian cocktail) on the house. On the second visit, I had ordered a sea food dish which required a little bit more food control to accommodate my dietary restrictions. The server agreed to make my meal as requested though when the food was served they did not control as I needed it. I managed to eat around it and did not return it as we were very hungry. They didn't seem to have the staff capacity to handle rework orders and sustain the customer volume. This time my tip was not so generous. If you are looking for a quiet, less crowded quaint environment with good quality food and fair priced, this is the place. read more
