Never had an issue until tonight when I got charged $50 for a $28 bottle of vodka. Needless to say I'm not going back.

Selection is excellent with many more options than the grocery stores. Prices are reasonable.

Tonight, their stuffed chicken special was recommended and I loved every single bite. Even the asparagus was delicious, and I truly despise that springtime vegetable. This night, the place was packed with people engaging in conversation and not staring at their phones or at some television. The brewery doesn't have televisions and I love that. We will continue to come back time and time again.

Unfortunately, the food, beer, and service were all just okay for me. The beers were pretty mediocre, and we tried the duck confit nachos, which sounded much more exciting than they actually were. They were fine, but nothing particularly special or memorable. Service was also mediocre. We had a pretty large group, so I'm sure that didn't make things easier, but we waited about an hour and a half just to be seated. Part of our group was made up of small children, and it seemed like we could have been accommodated sooner given that there was plenty of flexibility with our seating. Overall, I really wanted to love Brewery Vivant because the atmosphere is so unique, but the experience just didn't live up to the setting. I'm not sure I'd go out of my way to come back.

You pay for your table by the hour. You can pick from a wide range of games from their game library. You can also bring your own games or purchase one at the establishment. We played Chameleon while enjoying sandwiches and chicken tenders. The food was pretty good and made with local ingredients. You can order from a QR code on the table and the food is brought to your table. For dessert we ordered a cookie skillet. We had a good time at Hose Rules and highly recommend it.

Many brands were local that I'd never heard of before, and it was fun to experiment and try new things. Their food menu honestly shocked me with how tasty everything was. For a board game bar, I usually expect food to take a back seat or be phoned in, but everything was delicious! I had to try the elote deviled eggs, which was a combo I had never considered but I'm so glad someone did! I also got the truffle mac and cheese and a house salad. Both were excellent! The board game selection was extensive, with old favorites and hidden gems. If I'm ever back in the area, I'll be sure to stop in again!
