The wedding was June 12th and I think I've looked at the pictures from the wedding every day since. The staff was so nice in making sure that the guest and wedding party were content and happy. The invitation said 6, but the wedding didn't start until 7, but no one seemed stressed about it, so I assumed it was an early time on the invite to make sure people didn't arrive late. There was a cash bar, and while I spent $48 without tip on 4 drinks, I'd happily to it again. They poured up a good drink There was an outdoor patio for standing around while we waited for the ceremony to begin, taking pictures, talking and smoking etc. The wedding was lovely overall and this venue only added to the atmosphere. The food was delicious, there was salmon, chicken tenders, brisket, Cesar salad. The collard greens were not to my tasting, but I'm from the south and nobody makes collards better than my grandmas and aunts. Again....Kelly and her team deserve all the accolades for what was seemingly a stress free wedding environment. I'm not sure of the cost, but the mother of the bride assured me it was reasonably priced for a wedding planned in less than two months.

The seared tuna was over seasoned. I did enjoy the salad. But after waiting for over an hour, I asked if I could get the shrimp and grits, as we had somewhere we needed to be. About that time, someone came out of the kitchen, tried to give me a cheeseburger. I let him know it wasn't for me. "It's for the band! This is where the band is supposed to sit." I had chosen that chair as it was the only one near the windows that didn't have sun directly in our eyes. I told him. There was no sign. None of the servers or hosts had said. "I wasn't notified." But my son and I went ahead and got up and went to stand by the bar to wait for our entree. I felt it had great potential, but it missed the mark for us.

Both have delicious food: The Bays has classics like burgers, and fun appetizers. The Cellar has a sophisticated of steaks and such. I cannot make my mind up which I like better! I like that I can choose between two restaurants! My favorite though, is the staff. I'm usually uncomfortable in public if it's noisy. The staff is so sweet and kind, I forget all about my challenges and relax! Folks! You've gotta go & go often!

The golf course has been a work in progress for the past couple of years and the condition has dramatically improved. The golf course layout is an absolute delight to play.

I really didn't enjoy this course very much. I felt the condition was average at best and overall,…read morethe holes were rather bland. There were also one or two really goofy holes, like the Par 5 early on the front nine. A layup of around 200 yards is required from the tee to avoid a stream stretching across the fairway and then, if you are even slightly to the left of center with your drive, you are pretty much blocked out by trees for the second shot. Very odd. I'd travelled quite a distance from the Alpharetta area for a USGA event being held here, so my perspective may be very different from those who live locally. I was expecting a little more from a Private Club. For those familiar with courses north of the city, in terms of standard, think along the lines of Trophy Club of Atlanta, Bradshaw Farms, etc. Nothing wrong with these places at all, jut not worth a 90 minute drive and $85 entry fee. The clubhouse was under renovation so maybe they were just struggling during this period. However, when we showed up before tee off to get some drinks for the round, we were told they have no soft drinks available and even if they had, there were no bags of ice to fill the ice buckets on our carts. Not a great situation in the middle of August guys. Could even be construed as dangerous at this time of year.
