She has the most welcoming spirit and she will do her best to make sure your event goes as smoothly as possible. She referred me to some vendors within the area, she made herself readily available to meet with me due to me having a very busy work schedule. If you are looking for a place to have a small or large event the Event Loft ATL is perfect as they have just completed an expansion of the venue. Other great perks of using the Event Loft: The place is draped with white linens making it look extremely elegant inside, parking is FREE, no hassle of going downtown, plenty of space to eat, drink, dance and celebrate your wonderful occassion.

My husband, adult son, and I, spent the day at Banning Mills in July 2026. Wow, what a day! First…read moreof all, we highly recommend this place. The staff is amazing, and the activities are challenging, fun, and reasonably priced. We started off with the swincars. We had so much fun driving along the smooth and rugged trails, over a wooden bridge, and even a swing bridge. We saw deer, and were even up close and personal with them. They were beautiful! Our staff companions were James and Brenda. They were personable and very knowledgeable. After swincars, we took a long, leisurely lunch break. We had ordered sack lunches that morning before swincars, so they were ready. The sandwiches were delicious and huge! The lunch also came with a bag of chips, apple, and a water bottle. It was nice to just sit in the air conditioned dining area, talk and laugh while we ate. Last, but definitely NOT least, we did the zipline. Oh my. What they don't tell you is that the very first (beginner's zipline) starts with crossing a rugged looking swing bridge once you've climbed up the stairs to begin the whole zipping process. My husband and son were fine with it, but not me. It was one of the hardest things I've ever done in my life. The boards are placed 1 - 2 ft apart, and me being an older, chunky woman, that was not easy. I literally froze on the bridge. I don't think this is common, so if you're going to do zipline and walk across the swing bridge, I'm sure you'll be fine. I finally managed to get across with lots of encouragement from our instructors, Keaton and Josh. The zipline was challenging, but fun, and I will admit that there was one point I was ready to give up. Keaton encouraged me to continue, and I'm so glad I did. I was so proud of myself for making it through the entire activity. Poor, Keaton. I definitely kept him on his toes, and I'm sure he was bruised and exhausted afterwards. He had to lend a helping hand to me on numerous occasions and I also slammed into him more than once. He was a trooper and amazing. As you can see, I highly recommend Historic Banning Mills. It's for the young, middle aged, and old like me. I achieved some of the things I never thought possible, and it was all with the help from this great staff.

The wedding was June 12th and I think I've looked at the pictures from the wedding every day since. The staff was so nice in making sure that the guest and wedding party were content and happy. The invitation said 6, but the wedding didn't start until 7, but no one seemed stressed about it, so I assumed it was an early time on the invite to make sure people didn't arrive late. There was a cash bar, and while I spent $48 without tip on 4 drinks, I'd happily to it again. They poured up a good drink There was an outdoor patio for standing around while we waited for the ceremony to begin, taking pictures, talking and smoking etc. The wedding was lovely overall and this venue only added to the atmosphere. The food was delicious, there was salmon, chicken tenders, brisket, Cesar salad. The collard greens were not to my tasting, but I'm from the south and nobody makes collards better than my grandmas and aunts. Again....Kelly and her team deserve all the accolades for what was seemingly a stress free wedding environment. I'm not sure of the cost, but the mother of the bride assured me it was reasonably priced for a wedding planned in less than two months.

Working with Danielle was such a pleasure and my event was amazing. Touring the venue is like an AirBNB host - you get a code and self-tour. Also, all the steps to book, make payments, coordinate the decor and even add-ons like bartenders, decorations, etc. were available through a portal which was very easy & professional. She was also available via text for random questions. My 50th planning committee was hands on & showed up early to get in at set up time. I also had my vendors - Bartender, DJ, photobooth and caterers set up before guests arrived. I had notified my guests when to arrive for my grand entrance! Overall, the perfect location for parking (free on the street), a unique setting, intimate and you can customize it to your liking. The hardwood floors only added to the beauty of this space. I would definitely recommend having events here. I don't know how many people it can hold, but I saw a lounge area, two large round tables, a full bar, and three long tables with food while I was here.
