His super knowledgable and does not recommend unnecessary tests, surgery, meds, etc. He will even go so far as to recommend physical therapy before advising on injections, surgery, etc. He also asks what you prefer and gives the options/possible outcomes with those options. He listens and gives his professional medical option after he hears what's going on with you. He also performed a rotator cuff surgery on my shoulder. Excellent bedside manners, explains everything, doesn't talk over you and follows up with you.

As a result of the surgery I experienced a septic staph aureus infection of the blood stream. The infection was induced in the surgery . I was readmitted to the hospital through the ER where a second surgery was necessary to ":wash out": the original site. I was in the hospital for another 5 days with high dose intravenous anti biotics . The antibiotics were continued at home for 6 weeks. But again the infection came back after the antibiotic therapy at home ended,. Again back in the hospital for another 5 days and another "wash out ": surgery followed by IV antibiotics which continued for several months. Now in 2025 I learn that the base of the fusion did not fuse to the bone. It came loose. Now I have to go back for a fusion "revision" surgery with a year of recovery. A horrible experience that continues .

I have dealt with bilateral hip pain for 4 years without proper diagnosis. Dr. Wolff knew what was wrong in 5 minutes of my exam. I had a right Hip Arthroscopy for FAI with Labrum Reconstruction on 4-19-2024. Immediately after surgery my hip pain was gone and the recovery was a breeze. I do not know if I am the exception but I was walking without crutches by day 11-12 without any issues. I went back to him every 2 to 3 months for that year explaining to him that I was diligent with my physical therapy and taking the medication he told me to take, and yet the hip wasn't getting any better. But He continued to insist it was ongoing inflammation for over a year. Since he wasn't willing to consider what else it might be or offer any other solutions to help me, I went out and got a second opinion. So I saw another surgeon, and after he operated on me, he determined that I had extensive scarring inside my hip binding the hip flexor muscles to the hip capsule. After he removed all the scar tissue from my hip, it was much better and pain free. Dr. Wolff refused to consider that anything else may be going on, and so he wasn't able to help me. While a nice man, I found that he was rushed during our appointments and he wasn't always in the moment. So I don't feel he was always listening to what I had to say. Regardless, him continuing to insist my pain was due to inflammation for an entire year wasn't really him thinking about what else the problem might be or to consider other solutions.

I had ankle ligament reconstruction a year ago and my foot is now better than ever. The office was great to work with on scheduling appointments, the PA Jessica was fabulous, and the surgery was very straightforward. One thing I really liked was the detailed instructions for pre and post surgical care. This established realistic expectations for my recovery and something I could refer back to when needed. They are a very caring and helpful group of people and I will continue to use them for my joint care.

Unfortunately, there is a gap between the quality of doctors and the quality of this hospital's…read moremedical billing procedures, in my experience. I will keep this very simple. I had surgery last January to repair a labral tear and an impingement to my femur. Aside from the billing department's apparent disdain for veterans, since the practice said that they would not or were not interested in "enrolling in the Department of Veterans Affairs Community Care Network," which should not be confused with traditional insurance, after filing a False Claims Act complaint, 100% of the claims submitted by this practice have deemed to be either (1) invalid for submitting claims under a provider who had no involvement in my care; or (2) improperly filed because the staff did not correctly complete the claim. For those that do not have an awareness of the False Claims Act, it is prohibited to file insurance claims for a provider who had no involvement in rendering care, even if the hospital claims that this is due to their tax filing status (the latter is my assertion and not called out in the law); and to make mistakes that would change the amount of the payments made under a claim. WOSM's claims were more significant than $70,000, which makes this level of error speak to the quality of the billing procedures for this staff. The physicians are fantastic; however, their billing is atrocious. If you experience anything like me, you should be prepared to get quality medical care with a subquality billing procedure. I have documentation from my insurance company supporting all statements in this post.

The physical site is gorgeous, parking is nearby (not free though) and it's metro accessible. It's clean, the staff are friendly and professional and they have an in-house lab which saves a trip to Lab Corp. Additionally, they now offer mental health services which is a nice bonus. If you need a prescription called in to your local pharmacy, you can request via their app or website. If you have a non-urgent issue and need advice, you can message a nurse or doctor for help. If you have an urgent (non-emergency) issue, you can usually get an appointment relatively quickly; scheduling through the app is very easy. The user interface is easy to navigate. Also, the staff don't try to "upsell" you in any way or pressure you to get an unnecessary vaccine or test. In closing, I highly recommend OneMedical. It's worth the annual fee (which isn't that pricey IMHO). There are locations throughout the country - and the network of providers at every location is superb.
