They sent me an estimate on the same day for a crack repair and some paint correction I needed to get done. I dropped off my car and a couple of days later got an email from them telling me less work was needed than initially thought, and informing me that the price would go down. *down*! A true testament to their honesty and ethics. The work was completed ahead of time and beautifully. My car looks as good as new, when in fact it's ten years old. They are the real deal--this is a completely family run business and they treat each and every customer with respect and honesty. I am used to going to mechanics who make you feel dumb if you don't understand something or want it explained. At JC Auto Repair everyone is always friendly and willing to answer any questions in detail. You can also trust them, they have told me when I did not need certain repairs although Mavis told me I needed many expensive items. Their prices are fair, and even if an item or two could be slightly more expensive, it is 100% worth it., and absolutely worth the piece of mind that they are doing it right the first time. John the owner is amazing-he is super friendly and takes pride in the work they do-he has been a mechanic for over 50 yrs! Over the years I have tried many mechanics and generally they are in it for the money and could actually care less about their customers. Even when calling and talking to the office staff (daughter of the family) they are so kind and patient, and at times I was calling multiple times to get clarification on a service I need etc. It is so refreshing to find a mechanic that is honest, ethical and appreciates your business, and offers amazing customer service. Geico suggested I fix my car with them after I was in an accident. After the accident my car's bumper was loose, the front grille was broken and the trunk's door had a dent. I was told that my car was going to be ready in two weeks. It almost took a month for them to fix it. They returned my car to me without fixing the bumper. Them bumper was still loose. I went back to them and the young gentleman(Richie) took care of me. when I asked him to refix the bumper, he told me the following: "What are you talking about? "That's how Honda cars are". I replied to him, NO, that is not Honda cars are. My sister has the same car as mine and I showed him pictures of her car's trunk and he had the nerve to tell me "You are comparing apples to oranges". He finally agree to fix my car. They fixed the bumper. However, my trunk's door needed to be refixed. It was not opening or closing properly. I took it the car back to them on a Monday and it was not fix until Thursday evening. They returned my car with a complete empty gas tank. I wonder if they were using my car for their personal use all those days? The gas tank was filled when I brought the car in. To make matters worse, I had two shoves and one ice scraper in my trunk and they are gone!!!!!! I called Geico and complaint about them and asked Geico not to advise anyone to take their cars for repairs there. I honestly believe that those nice reviews about them were written by themselves.
