    I would give a million stars if I could. Today, it's 103 outside. I'm a 50 year old, overweight and menopausal woman who is completely and constantly overheated. The past 5 or 6 years our AC unit was keeping our house only maybe 15-18 degrees cooler than it was outside. Summer has been miserable for me and I spend most of it in my bedroom (coolest room) blinds closed with my little hand held fan and has been the worst. I have known Villara for a long time but had never worked with them as a customer. The service was amazing. They were following up faster than I could reply. Our financing was easy, online and simple. The install was also fairly simple for us, the team did run into more work than anticipated due to our access points in the house but handled it smoothly and there were no delays. It is 68 in my house right now. I'm wearing a cardigan in August, I'm a little chilly even and have some throw blankets to be cozy. I might even light a candle just for fun. Thank you Ron, Gary and team. You guys have made my life so much better. Forever grateful. As is my husband, because I'm not complaining anymore. 5 stars all the way

    Time for my annual heater/ac and tankless water heater check-up. And, it is about time for me to update my Villara 9/23/21, Yelp review also. The good news is it absolutely remains at 5 stars! Since that first review, I have had yearly contact with Villara employees for service and checkups. Not only have the technicians been knowledgeable and thorough but always exceeded my customer service expectations. Personable, professional, and efficient. They never let me down. Speaking of customer service, that same dependable service is always on display by the people taking the customer telephone calls. Last week, I had contact with Supervisor, Rosa, Kendall, and Edith several times. I must say they all were SO patient, efficient, and just plain nice. Thank you! We all know great management is what makes any business successful. So thank you, Emily V.A., for your exceptional management skills and talents. I am your biggest fan! Villara is a 75-year, locally owned, family business. They have experience! This company wants to provide you with quality service and they will guarantee the work performed. And, who does not love a business with 24-hour availability! Unfortunately, heaters and a/cs do not break down just Monday through Friday, 8 to 5! Same with plumbing problems. Right? I will end this review with one statement. I am even more impressed with Villara than I was two years ago. That says it all. Lastly, do yourself a favor and check out the Villara website, and see all the services they provide. It is a quite informative and impressive website. Here is to lots of cold air in the summer and heat in the winter!:) Cheers! 11/16/23 Villara technician, Morufu, just left after the inspection of my heater. I am SO impressed! He not only went into attic where the heater mechanics are located but also left me with a copy of all the items he checked AND emailed me the checked heater equipment part photos! Whaaaat? Sure made the right decision going with Villara. Thanks, Morufu! See you in 6 months for the a/c inspection. Lastly, a shout out to Gwen for helping me sign up for the hvac/plumbing inspections, too.     River Islands Lathrop residents: If your Villara Smart Vent (aka whole house fan, damper) ever has an issue, call Villara and ask for Aurelio. Villara is based out of Sacramento, but Aurelio's service area is Lathrop, Manteca and the surrounding areas. I initially spoke with Gwen and she was really kind and helpful! She wanted to make sure that I had already tried to reset the system first before she made my service call appointment. Apparently, resetting the system can solve the issue. Our vent damper error was, "Damper did not CLOSE Call for Service". I was offered an appointment as soon as the next day, but opted for a different day due to our work schedule. On the day of our appointment, Aurelio called me within our appointment window time to let me know that he was on his way. He arrived with his colleague, Eddie, and they troubleshot the system and found that the communication wire was bad. They quickly fixed the issue and even checked out our A/C and heating system as yearly maintenance. They also installed a screen for the huge vent we have in our loft to prevent bugs from coming in. Since then, I have seen fewer bugs in the house (thanks for recommending it, Aurelio!). Overall, awesome service thanks to Aurelio, Eddie and Gwen!

    Horrible customer service. Water heater they installed in my new house is 3 years old and has had issues working since it was in. Now they say it needs replacement but will not do anything. They scheduled an appointment for a manager to come out today then never showed up. When I called they said that I need to have a water test before they show up. They do not want to fix or take responsibility for the equipment they install. Talked to a manager one week ago that was going to help. All of a sudden he no longer works for them. Do not trust them! Two weeks later... no hot water and no responses. Go with another company!

I have never been so impressed with the customer service of any company as much as I am with ACR. They did the solar for a new pool last year 2021 and it worked perfectly allowing us the most comfortable swimming experience in our new pool. That was last year... Next up our 25 year-old roof was looking tired. Because of my solar experience with ACR's amazing staff (both in the field and in the office), I decided to get a bid (1 of 4) from them on a new roof this year (2022). Oh my gosh Joe Petersen runs a smooth, courteous, professional company with an awesome team of workers. Not one person was rude, lazy or "questionable". I am one who asks MANY questions because I just like to know and understand "stuff". Joe was so very patient with me. (Thank you Joe, lol). I always try to HIRE LOCAL whenever possible but get at least 3 bids regardless. This LOCAL company came in competitive, were pretty quick to get me on the schedule, and once the job began did not waste a bit of my time or theirs. We hired them last spring to re-roof our home, replace some rotted eaves and fascia and replace our old solar system (it was inefficient and malfunctioned quite a bit). We are very happy with what we got for the price we paid, it was a good value. It looks so much better than it did before and is consistently producing more energy. I feel like they helped us make the right decisions through the whole process, especially for system size to be able to keep our NEM1 status. The new roof looks great and works really well. I waited almost a year to write this review to make sure there wasn't any water intrusion during the winter storms - not a drop anywhere. They were in the mid-high range in pricing on the bids we got, but I'm happy we spent a little more went with them. Can a roof be sexy? Ours sure is. All in all, if you need a new roof or solar system or home battery, or all of the above, call Volt. They are a competent and professional group of local people who are really f**king good at what they do.

When Buck arrived, he stayed until we were satisfied with our understanding, and I learned so much more from his explanations than from all other companies. Considering they were also roofers and understood the difficulty with our high-pitched roof, we placed more confidence in them than the others. Hence, we chose them after a month of research and estimates. Kristen, their assistant manager, was very communicative throughout the entire project, keeping us informed about what was happening behind the scenes with permits, PG&E approvals, and the team's schedule. That helped us understand the project's time frames. Bucks crew -- Jared, Sean, and the others -- were friendly and professional. They worked quickly and efficiently to finish the job, paying close attention to detail. They went above and beyond, including sharing additional insights about our gutters and attic. I could tell they understood the bigger picture, and I am grateful for their effort.     My husband and I dug in our heels FOREVER, when it came to getting solar. There were all kinds of…read moresalespeople who came to our home on a monthly basis, and we just never had a real peace about being able to trust what we were being " sold", or told. My parents purchased solar from a HORRIBLE company that sounds a lot like 'SunFun'. After they passed away, and the house was sold...we were STILL making the monthly payments for over a year!!! That SunFun organization REFUSED to transfer the solar to the new homeowner, and eventually stopped taking or acknowledging our calls. It wasn't until we had to threaten the new homeowner with a lawsuit that SunFun finally transferred ownership. Due to this, we could not trust any of these solar companies...that is, until Kevin Bedard came to our home, and explained everything in great detail to my husband and I. He took the time to hear about our concerns, and he showed us how he truly cared. That same week, we spoke to two other families who shared their positive experiences about Ambrose Solar that made us feel that we would be in great hands. We had FINALLY FOUND A PEACE about getting solar on our home; KNOWING we would be in good hands, and we were ALL IN. It's been six months now, and we are beyond pleased with our solar panels, and the two Tesla batteries we have purchased. We are true fans, who have NOTHING but RAVE REVIEWS for this company. Any home renovation project has bumps, and this one had its fair share: after initial install they monitor the systems production remotely to see if it's doing what it's supposed to/expected to, and my system was initially under-performing. They caught it and sent out a team to problem solve it, which took a couple tries, but they didn't drag their feet, they kept on it and kept at it and got it resolved. It was no fault of theirs, just a technology glitch. Core fear was that they would give up after a couple failures and leave me following up with them to get it done, but I never had to worry about that. I also did not end up liking where they placed the control box- it was something that was going to make future maintenance of my house trim problematic down the line. They willingly moved it up a few inches for me (and my only complaint was the team that did that didn't patch the original hole as efficiently as they should have. If I had understood the box placement better on the first pass that would never have happened, so this is a bit of a complaint of my own making.) Jon Landsman, who sold me the system, stayed with us the whole time tracking the project, checking in, and following through on every detail, every question, every concern. He never made me feel like the demanding diva that I am, was always prompt and gracious! The bottom line is that start to finish, even with a few bumps in the road, I have zero question that this is a company that legitimately cares about doing what is right. The culture of deeply valuing customer service that they have built is unmatched by many businesses these days. I am SO pleased, and SO impressed, and I can promise that you will be too!
