Traveling through the area, this place is known for their pizza buffet. And it was packed at lunch time. I ordered a medium to go. Have to admit it was great. Not like we get in NY, but really enjoyed the entire pie. Recommend! read more

Very convenient for quick stop or dine-in and homely feel. My son loves the cheese pizza!

Great pizza, breads ticks, and salad bar!! Very respectful people that work there. Also they've a arcade room for the little one's.

I came to Village Pizza to eat pizza. They only had a cheese and pepperoni pizza on the line. The buffet was mostly fried chicken, pork chop, baked chicken, okra, and other southern foods. I was the only one eating the pizza while everyone else were eating the country foods only. The pizza was good. The country food is made to local taste. The country food I thought as being good to my taste is the broccoli & cheese dish. Everyone here are nice, saying hello. The person who waits my table didn't know I was there until I went up asking for a knife and fork. She knew I was there when she came passing out the bills. The place is clean and even the bathrooms are well maintained. If you need to go while here just remember there's only one place where to sit down to take a moment to reflect on the meal you've just eaten. I was just told the this is the Sunday buffet with all of the country food. For $17.00 the expectations would have been higher. read more

Village Pizza - Table check - Pizza Near Me - Hazlehurst, Georgia

walked in today with a family of 8. Every table was dirty in the restaurant. waitress was rude when we talked to her about all the tables being dirty. She then shrugged her shoulders when we told her we would go somewhere else if they couldn't clean a spot for us. highly dissatisfied. I have never had a worse experience at a restaurant or lack of wanting business. We all loaded up and went somewhere else where the service was friendly and inviting. 1pm November 1,2025 hazelhurst ga read more

We love the Hazlehurst area and visit as often as we can. We've seen Village Pizza but never stopped before. Big mistake. It will be a regular stop when we return. Great salad bar (yeah, I don't like salad) with a lot of trimmings. The buffet pizza is mostly pretty good. I'd take off a half a star because the thick crust pizza had a gooey center and not that good. They had a dessert pizza on the buffet. Oh. My. Gawd. I could have eaten the entire thing if my Bride and Doc wouldn't have killed me. read more

I love the salad and the ranch the ranch doesn't tasted watered down. Service is literally amazing and workers are so nice.

Good pizza & sandwiches. Really good variety on the salad bar. Bread sticks are a treat. Always friendly service. read more

Village Pizza is my favorite of all time. The thick crust Village Special is to die for. I have to have it every time I come back to Hazlehurst. read more

Two things you have to try: Cheese sticks (extra garlic salt / lightly cooked) and a large thin pizza! OMG they are insanely good, no they're even better than that. Everyone who leaves this small town craves the cheese sticks, they really are a meal in them selves! Locally owned and probably one of the best pizza stops you will ever find! Stop here on your way to the beach!!!! read more

The cheese sticks are good- really they are bread sticks with cheese. That caught me aliitle by surprised. The pizza, good choices on the menu, average taste. For the middle ga area it was beyond expectation. read more

Today was not a good day. Pizza and service was bad. Consistently is important in a Resturant. You never know what you are going to get when you visit. The manager was onsite yet no accountability for servers talking and texting instead of checking on customers. Sunday buffet was not decent. Pizza was cold and no new pizzas were offered after 7:00. read more

What can I say about this classic Hazlehurst pizza joint? I've went here for most of my life, around 15 years, and it is something. Do not let the full parking lot fool you, it is incredibly mediocre pizza that would not hold up to a soggy cardboard box with ketchup on it. The pizza used to be quite tolerable, but since the last two to three years it seems they have switched to cheap ingredients that they probably buy through dollar tree. Their sandwiches are ok, nothing special. What has caused me to write this review is a meal I had there today. I ordered two salad bars, two drinks, and a medium pizza with special toppings only on half. Salad bar was good and the server was prompt with refills. When the pizza arrived, the special toppings were on both sides, and I was not really pleased. I proceeded to scrape off my toppings and just eat the pizza plain. No need to cause a fuss with the server because the other person I was with enjoyed the toppings. I informed the server in a joking manner and she apologized and told the other person I was dining with to keep the current pizza, and she would make me a new pizza that was correct. That was awesome. My server was great. However shortly after this, a lady named Judy walked out and said either we keep the leftovers and get a small correct pizza or turn in the leftovers and get the medium that I was paying for. First of all, I paid for a medium and the kitchen made my order incorrectly, the server wrote it down right. I said that I would not take the small because I paid for a larger pizza. The server then chimes in and said that they couldn't use the current pizza because we had touched it so might as well let us keep it. Judy then proceeded to tell me that it was my problem. I honestly hope they get rid of Judy because that was unacceptable. She was extremely rude and does not need to interact with customers. If she cannot handle making the orders correctly, she should not complain when the customers say that their order is wrong. I hope that they fix this problem, but honestly I really don't care. I will not be back. I cannot believe that this would happen here and I will not return to see if it happens again. Do not go here. read more

Possibly the greasiest pizza I've ever eaten - the grease was literally pooled on top of the pizza. The flavor of the sauce was not very good either. I did not even finish one slice. On the bright side, the cheese sticks were delicious and our server was great. However, I wouldn't eat here again. read more

Stopped in here on our way back to Atlanta from the beach. This may become our regular pit stop. Takes longer than fast food, but so much better! I will say the menu shown on Yelp is not even close to what we saw, but the pizza did not disappoint. We took a magnet with their phone number and will Pcall ahead next trip so the pizza can be ready when we arrive. Service was very good as well. read more

Been a local favorite for years, whether you dine in or take out its great. The salad bar is always fresh and service is tops. The bread sticks are so good. I love thin crust and "The Village " as we call it,knocks it out of the park. If you want a good sandwich, they have that ,made to order. read more

We were hesitant to stop here after reading some the reviews, but we were traveling through the area, and in the mood for pizza. We decided on a thin crust Deluxe, and it was EXCELLENT! Our server, Tracey, was very sweet, and very attentive -- we didn't lack, or have to wait, for anything. I'm not sure when, or if, we'll be back through this area again, but if we are, we'll be stopping at Village Pizza! read more

Welcoming environment and one of the best salad bars in town! (And of-course their pizza is delicious!)

Decent place - give it a try, you may like it more than we did. Ate here many times and almost always get the buffet. Wait staff is generally very friendly and efficient. Pizza is good but very greasy and many times the buffet is not kept full so you may not get what you want during lunch hour. It's inexpensive, fast, and a pretty good salad bar. But for pizza, we'd rather head to Vidalia's Pizza Inn if that's what we're in the mood for. read more
