I found myself in need of a laundromat since my washer decided to suddenly stop working. My daughter & I arrived at 7:40pm. The sign clearly stated last load in by 8pm and the business was open until 9:30pm. Since we only had a small load we thought no problem! We walked in behind another customer who already had clothes in the machines. We were immediately attacked by an older woman with long grey hair, wearing a mask & gloves. She aggressively came right up to my 10 yr old daughter. She said we needed to hurry that we were there too late. I apologized & asked if the "last load in by 8pm" rule applies? She walked away grumbling under her breath. My daughter started putting the clothes into the washer while I went to get change. It is now 7:45. The lady was yelling at me from the attendant room instead of coming out to ask what I needed. I asked her for change. She said "if it's for that $50, NO!" I guess she's psychic or has cameras so she doesn't have to get up. I told her I would take change however she had it...even all coins. She yelled "NO! They don't give us that much!" I'd had enough. Absolutely disgusting behavior that the management/owners are fully aware of yet continue to allow. My daughter & I had to take our clothes out of the machine & load back into the car. It was 7:56 when we pulled out of their drive. This woman is a menace & if other people in the community are warning others about her THERES A PROBLEM. We left & went to Queen City in Amelia & had the best experience from the nicest people.
