SteamKraft men came that same day and cleaned it up. I was in a sad state of mind and requested that they go over the carpet again even though the men told me that it would look great once dry, yet they obliged. They were right, my mother is gone but the carpet looks like new. I really appreciate them being kind and accommodating during my darkest of days. Thank you for your kindness and hard work.

However, the cleaning service was awful! They advised us that the carpet would be dry by the next morning. It actually took 4 days for the carpet to dry out (and I hope I don't have mold underneath). On the second day you could actually feel the water seeping up between your toes if you walked on it bare foot. It's like they sprayed water in but didn't bother to suck any back out. Then the two sofas were not even completely cleaned. The headrests and footrests were not even touched (sofas have recliners on each end). Then they applied the fabric protection spray (add on that we opted for) and it made the fabric hard and very scratchy. Then, as if all that was not enough, the carpet and sofas now have a very nasty smell to it and it is VERY strong. You smell it as soon as you walk into the room. I am wondering if they actually used dirty water on our stuff. Now, I have to rent a carpet cleaner and try to get the smell out. Our carpet did not have that smell before they 'cleaned' it, and I absolutely will not use a 'professional' carpet cleaning service again. Worst experience ever! And, we paid for it!

I called and made an appointment for a Friday where we were going to have great weather....his secretary called a day or two before saying "something came up and he needs to reschedule...he'll be in your area on Monday instead" I refused to change my date. When he showed up an hour early (thankfully we are able to afford retirement and were home) he immediately started about how "he never told her to call to reschedule" "they are my best customers " (HOW I'm your best customer with a total of 4 jobs completed says a lot about your company). I knew then that he was a liar and I also knew that was my last appointment with him. If he's willing to lie about something small and insignificant imagine if the stakes were higher. I posted on a website asking for recommendations and he called my home, started to chastise me for having the nerve to want someone to actually CLEAN the carpet. I hung up and he immediately made a negative post about me. That is incredibly unprofessional and I will never use or recommend them to anyone. My carpets are 3 years old and I've always had them professionally cleaned.
