We decided to try the chocolates. Both the turtle and the caramel cashew bar tasted like wax and left an unpleasant coating inside the mouth. Even the cashews were waxy and tasteless. This store has so much candy! Lots of retro candy, plenty of foreign candy (multiple flavors of Kit Kats including flavors of chunky kit kats, hi chews and some other Asian candies (a bunch of options, but I can get all of them in Chicago's chinatown so I didn't pay attention), Aero bars, Terry's oranges, and other British candy. There were so many retro candy options, plus every kind of candy you've ever heard of. (I eat too much candy, and know a lot of types of candy and I was blown away by the options). During the event we learned about their tea process and chocolate making. After the event, we were able to shop in the store. You are able to smell all of the teas that they have available in a leaf fashion (aka unbrewed) prior to deciding to purchase. There are way more chocolates to purchase then the 6 that we tried. All of the allergens are listed everywhere so you know if there is any cross contamination or issues that you could have by eating & drinking the items. The service was awesome. They go through everyone who had something to buy quickly while being able to answer questions from anyone who asked them something. They also have frozen chocolate freez-ee pops in both whole and oatmilk. I will definitely be coming back for another event in the future and stopping in when I'm nearby.
