Considering the medium price range hotels, this was one of the better ones. It's staffed 24 hours unlike others, fresh towels and a complimentary room coffee and a bottle of water daily. There's a breakfast option which was worth the small price, with quite the selection from a cold and hot bar, pastries and bread, and a coffee bar where the staff can make you an espresso, americano, cappuccino or event a hot chocolate.
It's located on a main street with ATM machines, a laundromat, convenience stores and of course the entrance to the Cathedral Square where the leaning tower of Pisa is within a short walking distance.
Most of all, the staff are friendly and helpful with our needs! The vibe is retro like all others. But there is a particular charm to this small, house-like hotel.
Highly recommended.
Complaint - positioning of towel racks in the restroom. And wi-fi is sometimes weak. A smart TV would be nice especially for the kids, but spending most of our time outdoors, this is not that big of a deal. read more
