Stayed here on my way in and out of Pisa on business in northern Italy. Fantastic stays both times! The staff is so great and helpful. The hotel is convenient to the airport, train station.'c and downtown Pisa. The hotel was very clean and the service was impeccable! I had the opportunity to have brekkie and an arrival meal (dinner) here and the food and restaurant service was also top shelf. Unfortunately, this hotel was a huge disappointment. The condition of the room was poor. Literally masking tape holding the electrical plug in the wall in the bathroom, a wire exposed under the bathroom mirror, holes in the blackout curtain and most importantly Air Conditioning that did not work. Since we had nearly 30 hours of travel we ate and went to bed only to wake up to a warm room. We tried to adjust the AC but instead opened the window. The next day we informed the front desk. The front desk person was pleasant, but we heard nothing from the hotel, no notes, calls or text messages. Upon returning that afternoon, since we had heard nothing, we told them we would need to check out, if this was not rectified. Still zero communication from anyone. The next morning, we went to check out and the front desk manager came out, told us we would be charged for 4 more days and the AC was working it is just wired backwards like most controls in the rooms. And we are suppose to know that to get AC you need to place the control on heat? Seriously, you cannot make this up. I then escalated the complaint to Marriott corporate, and he misrepresented the AC control and stated it was working properly. I have over 1500 nights at Marriott, and this is the first escalated complaint I have ever made to Marriott corporate for obvious reasons. I even provided pictures as I could not believe this was a Marriott property. read more

The so-called food in the hotel restaurant is absolutely horrible; we couldn't finish what we ordered because of how awful it was. When you walk in, you can tell that they have had water damage, as it can be seen, and the smell in the room was horrible. The manager told us you obviously are not accustomed to Italian food, which was insulting since I am 100% Italian. We left that same night and stayed at a hotel in the piazza across the the tower. The fact that they say it's only a couple of minutes from the tower is another lie. STAY AWAY from this place read more

My wife and I came back to our room to find out that we have been burglarized!!! They got into our room and drilled the safe. Stole my Rolex, $5000 in cash, my wife's LV wallet, and a pair of her Hermes sandals. Do not stay here!!! No stars!!!!!! I'm forced to rate them a 1 star read more

do not stay here- my husband and i got robbed. the girl at the front desk noticed it was my husband's birthday that day when we checked in, and recommended a local restaurant. she even made reservations for us. we went to diner, and when we got back, we noticed that the safe is our room had been completely drilled out, my husband's rolex was stolen, my wallet, a pair of my shoes, and all of our cash. the only person that knew when we were leaving was the girl at the front desk, andrea. the police came and took pictures because there were 2 items left on the bed, they even said it looked like an inside job. it has been over 6 months now, and we still have had no resolution. the general manager, anotnio, keeps closing every case that we have opened up with corporate. read more

After missing our cruise in Italy as my husband fell illwe were looking for a comfortable place to recuperate. This Marriott was decently priced 141 euro, The breakfast was only 10 euro , slightly limited, but the food was good and the coffee hit the spot. Stayed here for a few nights and the room was huge with two rooms. Nice big king size bed. Two TVs, but they were super small, they really need to change that. Not many English stations but was able to find BBC. The shower was large, with his and hers, but the floor of it had all kinds of mildew stains in the tile grout, it looked disgusting. The bathroom sink was a cool modern glass design. Unfortunately they had no AC running this time of year and the rooms were hot inside. Once we opened the window, cigarette smoke from the people below filled out room--not fun. The breakfast was pretty good, the staff kept it stocked nicely. Dirty dirty dirty Don't do it. It's not really a Marriott, they only use the points. There is no Marriott standard and it shows. I rented two rooms for family trip and they were both disgusting. Floors are stained, the bed is hard dirty. The once white drapes are covered in dirt and have holes. The bathroom towels were even dirty. When you ask the staff what's up they laugh as three other people were downstairs complaining about the smell. This place is a disgrace and I canceled all other AC reservations as this is really a motel 6. read more

We used the AC Pisa as a place to return from the Tuscan countryside and a home base to get our return-to-USA COVID tests done and to do a little touring of Pisa. 10 minutes to the airport and to central Pisa is its selling point. For what it is, this is a very nice place to stay, with accommodating and friendly staff. We were upgraded to a "suite" on arrival. Two separate rooms, but only one bathroom. Quite spacious. Large double shower (with no place to set your soaps and shampoos, as so often seems the case these days). Television in each room with streaming options. Compared to AC hotels in the US, I found it more spacious and with much better food and drink options. In fact, my wife and I were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food on offer. After a long day in the warm sun, we just didn't have the energy to get a cab and head back into Pisa for dinner on our second night. So, we stayed at the hotel for dinner (not even an option at the three AC hotels I have used this year in the States). Dinner may not have been 5 stars or Michelin-rated, but it was quite good. Rooms have bathrobes and plenty of towels. Elevators are small. Bathroom showers had excellent water pressure and hot water. Staff are very friendly and professional. If there is a downside here, it's transportation. If you've got a car, you're set. But if not, be aware that as of May 2022, there are no Taxi:IT, Uber, or Lyft services in Pisa. Further, taxi supply seems to be artificially constrained by the medallion regulatory system. So, in times of high demand, taxis can be difficult to obtain. And forget flagging them on the street. That's not the hotel's fault of course. And the staff at the AC will do everything they can to help. For what it is and its value proposition, it is excellent. read more

Far from the city center and the train station. Front desk person and bartender were nice but the only staff working, so service was incredible slow. If I wasn't a marriott ambassador, I would probably not stay at this location. read more

No air conditioning. Mini tv with not very many American stations. No air conditioning. Paper thin walls. No air conditioning. When we arrived their computer system was done so they had to check us in via a computer in the back. Then the front desk lady (she was very nice tho) had to take us to our room because they couldn't provide door keys after she told us how boring it is in Pisa compared to Rome where she just came from for 3 days. No air conditioning. There were guys painting the inside of the hotel - ceilings and other spots when we arrived. No air conditioning. The fridge is stocked up stuff but none of it seemed cool even after a full day. The hotel room LOOKS nice but it's just masking a lot of issues. Based on the no air conditioning alone I'd suggest staying somewhere else as even in November it wasn't very pleasurable to sleep with the window open. Also we heard hammering bright and early this morning as well probably as early as 7a. Elevators do not go down when pressed on floor 1. Also room key did not work randomly after we left for a day of exploring the city. The night before checkout the power went out again although there was no rain. read more
