I'm not one for writing reviews, but this place deserves it.
We arrived at Villa delle Palme after a long drive from Tuscany. We had met some other travelers in Tuscany who had just come from Positano and told us how hard it would be having a car and not having secured parking ahead of time, how expensive parking is etc..
Once we found the hotel (which is a bit tricky, the street numbers skip), we were pleased to realize that the hotel offers a few parking spaces for about 15€ a day, which meant we could now settle into our rooms instead of dealing with driving around hoping to find a garage.
Manuela was there to greet us and was super welcoming. In conversation, we mentioned a place we had tried to get reservations to but couldn't and right on the spot she called the owner to try to get us in. She is very helpful and resourceful.
We had two rooms on the 2nd floor (#25 #26) and they were much nicer than I expected, very clean and had an amazing seaview which is what you come to Positano for.
Breakfast is included and can either be delivered to your room so you can eat it on the balcony with the amazing view (duhhh..) or you can go down to the lobby.
The location was pretty good too, because it's not too high up the mountain. It's about 20 mins walking down to the end of the beach I think.. and I counted almost 400 steps lol
All in all, this was a great place for the price. The staff is very welcoming and hospitable. We would definitely recommend this place, especially to Positano first-timers. read more
