My first time at squeeze. My sister treated me out. I have lived in Stockton born and raised. The waitress was customer service and very attentive. It took a half hour to get food , I figured because there freshly made to order. I ordered the 1/3 cheeseburger with half and half of onion rings with fries. I enjoyed the freshest and hot cheeseburger.

Came in here for the first time and picked up some pan dulce. A great selection and decently priced. I got 10 for around $12. They also serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, but I will give it a try next visit. The store is nice and clean, and has a good amount of seating with an outdoor patio. Also the girl behind the counter was very friendly. My only warning is that the parking lot is tiny so be prepared to park like a pro, or find a spot on the street. read more

Prices have gone up even though they're still low due to the establishment being cash only. It's always busy here. This morning, 4 people cut in front of me to order because a friend was there so they got in front of me with him. Burrito Mexicana was $11. Zero flavor & had eggshells in it. Seriously, what does this place have against salt?!?! The tacos also are flavorless. I don't understand why this place is always busy. If you're in the area, I would say stop in for the pastries or rice pudding. Skip the food. read more

The food is great. The VALUE is TERRIBLE! The portions have shrunk significantly over the past years. I stopped in for a quick bite, and sadly there were more beans in the taco than there was beef. They are very stingy with the beef. I ordered 4 tacos, and every single one was that same. With a drink and 4 tacos: 17.50ish I'd think twice about this place. read more

The pan dulce was excellent. We went at 6:40 pm and they had a full case. They even restocked while we were there even tho they close at 7:00. The pan was so good we ate three there and got some for the morning. It was still fresh and crisp the next morning even after sitting. It is CASH only so be prepared. They have the best Mexican pastry of all the shops I have tried around Cathedral City. The Bavarian Custard is very light as is the pastry itself. The folks are friendly and it feels like a family run place. I have not yet had the burrito, but it smells so good as I chose my empanadas. read more

Cozy bakery that also sells burritos, tacos, and combo plates. Service was pretty quick on a Monday afternoon and the cashiers were nice. They are cash only. Food: The torta was very tasty (bread was really good!). The burrito was decent, not the best burrito in the world but it hits the spot. All the pastries are delicious especially when you catch them fresh out of the oven. Jamaica fresca was not too sweet. Everything else on their menu looks pretty good too! Found this place on Yelp & decided to give it a try. My girlfriend & I were craving Mexican pastries and coffee in the morning. Upon entering we could tell this place gets super busy. Parking lot is small, it was full & many cars parked along the side of the road. Which was a good thing to me , because that means it must be good! The customer service was great! Super friendly. I took two stars off because the churros didn't seem like they were fried enough, a tad gooey, and some of the pastries were super dry. And I was craving an ice coffee, but all they had were machine coffee makers & that wasn't what I wanted. However, their food section looked amazing ! Will have to try that next time ! read more

This little bakery is very unassuming and has more to offer than just its name suggests. I usually only come here for morning coffee and their pan dulce/bread (what they are best known for). My go to pastry is usually the Danish and the ones sold here are very generous with the amount of cream/filling. Most of the pastries/breads range from $0.85-1.10. They also sell great cakes here. If you need a large cake for some sort of party (birthday, wedding, etc..) they have great options! Their cakes have the perfect amount of sweetness. I actually ended up ordering a large cake from here for my wedding (However, I did not order a tiered cake just to keep costs down) because I liked their cakes so much. Besides pastries and cakes, they also sell Mexican food such as tacos, tortas, burritos, etc. I haven't tried any of these yet so I can't speak to how good they are but the prices are great. Other: Their busiest hour is usually around 7-8 AM before everyone gets to work. They are cash only and do not accept credit/debit cards. The bathroom is outside. The parking lot is small but there's plenty of space for street parking. read more

Wow! What a super great surprise to find this delicious place! My friends friend called it a bakery but much to my surprise it's also a taqueria with the best leanest carnitas I've ever eaten in my life! I also got the pan dulce concha and anise roll which was very fresh! The prices are great even tho it's CASH ONLY.. aka NO PROBLEMA! I got a extra large hibiscus aqua fresca which was so refreshing! Still the best Mexican pan dulce in the area! I came here today for a cafecito y pan and it was so good! The selection of pan dulce is very extensive but be warned that they only take cash and the private parking lot is very small so you might have to do street parking (plenty of it). There is nice outside and inside seating! I think the restrooms are outside and you need to ask the cashier for a key. read more

The Villa Bakery is a classic Cathedral city spot . It is not fancy and the parking lot is small but the food is worth it . You will be served on a styrofoam plate but what matters is what's on that plate ! This place has great prices , great hours , and fresh food with a neighborhood vibe. Some of my personal favorites are the Torta de milanesa , the tamales , and the tacos . The Torta is probably my most ordered item it is a good size , comes with avocado inside and is only 6.30 ! The Bakery makes the best cheese danishes ! Another good one is the pig shaped bread . Puerquito . The sweet breads , pan dulces, are always fresh and this place opens early enough to stop in before work. ;) One of the down sides,or things to know , is that this place is CASH only. Melissa was very accommodating with the shorter than their recommended lead time of about 3.5 weeks versus 4 weeks in advance and was very responsive throughout the entire process through email with the final confirmation over the phone. On the day of the pick up, they also remembered we were coming in from LA and followed up with us to make sure we were going to get there before they closed at 4PM. They had a wide variety of flavors to choose from that could be cake, but we settled on traditional chocolate, one of the flavors that allow for a custom design. We sent them an inspiration photo of what we were looking for along with the color scheme and they absolutely knocked it out of the park on the looks. The cake was well received by everyone at the party. Since I was unable to get one of their more daring and creative flavors as the custom cake, I did go ahead and order a dozen of their Dubai chocolate cupcakes and very much enjoyed them.

They were incredibly attentive, responsive, and open to collaborating on a custom event tailored to our needs. As an Event Planner myself, I truly appreciate when a venue takes the time to listen and accommodate -- and The Social Cafe absolutely delivered on that front. The setup was perfect for our mixer. The charcuterie spread was beautifully done, and the custom lemonade and iced tea station was a thoughtful touch that our guests loved. Everything felt curated, intentional, and aligned with the vibe we wanted to create. Beyond the event itself, the space is simply wonderful. It's warm, welcoming, and full of personality, with vibrant LGBTQ+ artwork and a layout that encourages connection. There's so much opportunity to grow our monthly event here, and we're excited about what's ahead. The Social Cafe also shines as a daily neighborhood gem. Their coffee and pastries are fantastic, and if you're a breakfast lover, this spot is a must-visit. They also offer an extensive lunch menu with delicious pizzas, fresh salads, sandwiches, and shareables. I especially love that they feature rotating local artists on the walls -- every visit feels fresh and inspiring. I visited Villa Bakery twice during my trip to Palm Springs, and it did not disappoint! The food is incredibly authentic and flavorful, making it a must-stop for anyone craving delicious Mexican cuisine. I had the Carnitas taco and Carne Asada taco, both of which were perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. The bakery side is just as impressive--the maranitos were excellent, fresh, and full of that classic spiced sweetness. Not authentic Mexican food. Stopped by this Mexican spot for breakfast since it had some good reviews, but I gotta say, I was pretty let down. Ordered the chile verde and it tasted like canned pork, no flavor at all. Plus, everything on my plate was cold except the eggs. Also, when I asked for coffee, the server just went ahead and added milk without checking with me first. Heads up--they only take cash here, which was a real hassle since I don't usually carry any.
