I've heard so much about this place and it was even recommended by my in-law. For me it's just a hype... Well, here it goes... Reservation is highly recommended..you can walk-in but you'll be at the mercy of others... The place is decent and spacious. Service was good and the staff were always cleaning our table. Food wise, they have the usual buffet foods but options is at par not a lot of seafood options though. They have mixed seafoods(w/ alimango) but it's not usually displayed so you have to really ask them for it at the Chinese station. Mixed seafood sauce is a little tad salty. It's good that my uncle had a shabby-shabu and I had to used it to wash the saltiness of the crab. Another plus ... the beers are unlimited. They have a few options... they also have bottled and draft... Recommended? If you're a first timer, i guess it's okay but I won't go back unless someone treat me to go there. Personally, I rather go to dads/kamayan/saisaki in the Philippines it's cheap and pretty much you have the same options.

Took too long to replenish the food. We asked for tempura from the moment we entered the restaurant but never had it till we check out.

Though on the expensive side, they have a selection that can rival most good hotel buffets in Metro Manila.

It's not an everyday place you can dine at when you're a student on a budget but the meals here are still and always have been student friendly... like my go to veggie bopis or veggie burger. They have seafood options but I'd say skip it and indulge in fresh greens. I love their moussaka and kare kare! My only concern is the mosquitos in the outdoor area. Better option is to kick off your shoes and stay in the mats strewn inside!

Likha Diwa sa Gulod in Krus na Ligas, a few minutes away from the main campus complex of UP Diliman, is a special retreat for those who want to break away from fast food and commercialized food establishments. The surroundings remind one of a secret garden, and the vibe of the place puts one at ease immediately. It is inviting, relaxing and very friendly to the soul. Likha Diwa is a vegetarian and seafood restaurant first and foremost, but it is also a community center for freethinkers and artistic individuals. The premises double as an art gallery where thought-provoking installations and exhibits are mounted on a regular basis. Guests can choose to sit on the low tables, or sit on soft throw pillows on the floor. The menu is extensive, with offerings ranging from Filipino favorites to Western dishes with a healthy and vegetarian twists. I particularly love the kare kare, which is a generous plate of tender vegetables, soft tofu and veggie-tuna meat (a kind of texturized vegetable protein that is a good and healthy substitute for pork or beef). I would usually order it with a serving of mountain rice, which is known to be healthier than white, well-milled rice. I also love the vegetable curry, which has the right amount of pungent and strong Indian spices. Likha Diwa has a very affordable buffet spread every Saturday. For P200, customers can eat as much healthy vegetarian food as they want. The themes are rotated every now so often, with Italian, Greek and Indian spreads repeating after several weekends. The place also sells good local coffee from Kalinga and Benguet .If you want to start eating healthy, try easing into Likha Diwa's menu which offers mostly delicious and heartwarming favorites. The dishes are packed with flavor and vitamis and so rich in character, you will forget that you are eating healthy. Furthermore, Likha Diwa also has a small eco store and gift shop where you can by organic cleaning agents and toiletries, and local handicrafts such as weavings, fabrics and decor.

For me, there were two stand-out dishes: First, the pork and beef wrapped in salad greens topped with their special sauce. I'm not really a fan of pork but I tried it because my cousin told me it was the signature dish of Don Day. It did taste good, I have to say, but it was quite fatty so I stopped after a few strips. I focused more on the beef which also mixed well with the salad greens and the sauce. Second, my favorite bibimbap. Don Day served many vegetables for their bibimbap and I made sure I took a portion from each of them. I tailor-made the sauce to not only be spicy but also slightly garlicky and with lots of sesame oil. I also made it a point to put in more vegetables than rice. That's the advantage of getting to mix your own bowl. You can make it suit your taste. There were other delicious dishes. Unfortunately, I am not familiar with their names so allow me to stop here. Just visit Don Day and try them out.

The only good things about this restaurant is the price for the buffet (Php399) and the copious amount of pork provided. Anyways, I ended up here because I wanted to try out a new Korean buffet place. Did a bit of research and ended up here! They have the usual selection of thinly-sliced pork and beef (some marinated too). The buffet also includes other Korean dishes which...are not very good. The dishes were more of "filipino-korean" side dishes which were all just sweet. I did not enjoy the kimchi. But, honestly, I was here for the unlimited samgyupsal. I piled up my plate, brought it to the table and started grilling. The meat was tender enough and you get a plateful of lettuce. The sesame oil is not the "toasted" type but, good enough. Overall, not a bad place if you're looking for Unlimited Korean BBQ on a budget. But, I have had way better at a cheaper price. :)
