It did NOT disappoint. It had a nice "chew" to it, and it picked up the flavors of lemon, salt, pepper, and blackening seasoning so well. They were so incredibly tender (stems and all), sweet and fresh. For anyone who is not a fan, I can't describe them. For anyone who is, I implore you --- take a ride and eat those steamer clams. They come in a bucket to go. But they will make you a third for an order to eat in. I had two orders. I could have eaten 3! With the melted butter and the broth for dipping it was sheer heaven.
