I wanted to write a review and to personally describe my recent experience with Viking. My Husband and I had Viking come to our home after calling them with a possible termite issue. After termite treatment there was a small misunderstanding about the original type of insect swarm. Without any communication or inquiry with Viking, my Husband took it upon himself to write a review about his concern with the company and Viking"s representative Steven. I was extremely anxious to delete my Husbands previous written comments and to begin a new more recent review of both Viking and Steven. My Husband and I met with Steven in our home to talk about the misunderstanding. Steven immediately expressed his personal pride and dedication. He sat with us and was so authentic in his honesty and his concern. After Steven spent a considerable amount of time working with us and this misunderstanding, we were very appreciative. Today I had the pleasure of speaking with one of the owners of Viking. I was treated with such care and he was so understanding and thoughtful. I wanted to make sure that I let everyone who reads Yelp to read about how incredibly wonderful Viking treats their customers. It is so seldom that you come across this kind of business and you truly have to search far and wide to find an Owner and a company like that of Viking. My home has been protected by the Centricon Anti-Termite System for many years. Recently I had a swarm of "Termite-looking" insects in my laundry room. I called Viking and Tech #1683, Sergio was dispatched to my home the next morning. Fortunately, he quickly identified the insects as pavement ants, not termites. Due to the swarm of ants an and abundance of ants, spiders, and other pests throughout our home we had Sergio treat the perimeter of our entire house. Out pest invasion has been stopped and we are very satisfied with the service and results. Sergio was extremely knowledgeable, professional, confident, and friendly. We are completely satisfied with his service and feel totally confident in recommending him and Viking. After many years as a Viking customer we can say that the quality and effectiveness of their service has been unsurpassed. read more

I've used their service for almost 10 years. I think they bought out a company that I used to be with originally. Since then, the service has been awful. They advertise fast response for their customers - today I had a live hornet near my house where my grandchildren were playing, I asked for someone to come out today or tomorrow. They gave me an appointment in a week. Told me that the earliest Icould come out. When I mentioned I was switching service. The customer service representative could care less. I contacted a local pest control company that came out within the hour. I switched my service my children are switching their service and anybody that I can refer This new company too I will- bigger is not better. For the first time ever, my family and I were in need of a pest control service. Thank goodness we decided to go with Viking! I called to request a consultation and had an inspector at my home just three days later! Curtis came over and was such an enormous help. During the consultation he was honest, thorough, and so incredibly kind. When it was time for him to come back and begin the extermination processes, Curtis came after his designated hours (I work late and could not be home by 5). This was not an issue for him; he had no problem coming to help us on his own time. Despite not being paid overtime for his service, Curtis was eager to help. We are SO grateful. We contracted with Viking sometime ago for our home pest control. They have always been fantastic. We recently had a skunk visit our backyard and make his home underneath our patio. The team at Viking was superb. They set our trap on a Monday and the skunk was caught the next day. James came out and removed the skunk making sure it did not spray by our home. Wanting to be sure there was only one skunk Viking left the trap out and has monitored it for over one week. Tom Hoppe came out towards the end of the first week and changed up the food in the cage and explained some different scenarios about how to fill the hole. Top notch. I had a huge ant problem several weeks ago. They came right out and took care of it with one application. This week, I heard several "critters" in between the dining room ceiling and bedroom floor. Again, they came right out and identified the problem quickly. I have been particularly impressed with the representative who came both times, Curtis Perkins, as he is very professional, neat, knowledgeable and just a very nice guy. A pleasure to work with. I had a problem with aquatic ants near my skylight and called Viking to have someone come out asap. Curtis came out the next day to evaluate the problem and scheduled a quick treatment to correct the problem. Curtis was very personable and very thorough. Explained to me what kind of ant it was. Never experienced this problem as long as I have the property, but with so much rain this year, I guess the ants needed a home. Sergio is a very thorough tech who has been able to finally keep my home pest-free.
