First off...it gets loud in here. If you're looking for a lovely atmosphere and you like some jubilant shouting, excellent! Maybe not the best for quiet dinner conversation though. We were here an hour before close on a Tuesday night and it was almost totally full! Their menu is so interesting, we had a hard time making choices. We will definitely have to come back here to try other things, given how much we enjoyed everything put in front of us here. We started with the Spring Beans And Fresh Cheese salad with ricotta and toasted sourdough. The bread was outstanding. This is the friendly kind that I don't have trouble digesting - great flavor, excellent texture, delicious crust. It was lightly fried and buttered and served alongside raw chopped snow peas, pea tendrils and a tiny bit of mint. It was so refreshing! I could eat this every day. Wonderful flavors, excellent freshness to all ingredients and a truly enjoyable combination of textures. The portion was also a good size. Then we got the cheese breads... oh my. If you've had a cheese bread at any brazillian restaurant, these are similar. The taste was divine, the textures were both delightfully crunchy and melt in your mouth soft. The cheese flavor was strong and beautiful. I'd order these again in a heartbeat. They could be dangerous. Next time we will truly have to try very hard not to get 2 orders of them! We followed that up with the leek pasta with fennel bulb and holy moly, I have such a soft spot in my heart for delicate spring pastas like this. The flavors were all so gentle and pleasant, nothing overpowering, each element something that would be background in another dish, shining in the foreground here instead. The pasta itself was expertly made, the sauce surprisingly light and creamy, and the flavors of everything just worked so well together. Subtle dishes like this make my heart happy. We also ordered the Japanese Sweet Potato, served on a hazelnut yogurt and this was also unbelievably good! Next to the cheese breads, this may have been my dining partner's favorite dish! A potato! I agreed tho, it was such a nice flavor, such a satisfying texture and such a generous amount of delicious creamy yogurt. A knockout! Service was very attentive, super knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful navigating my food allergies. The space was cozy, while still feeling like you had your own space. The restroom was clean, the bar was lovely, and everyone we interacted with was very welcoming. They could stand to do something about the echoey loudness of the space - maybe some baffles on the ceiling or walls. Parking was somewhat of a challenge, as it always is in this part of town, but I'd say it's worth it to me for food this enjoyable! If you drive around the triangle, it shouldn't take too long to find a spot, especially the later you come.

Vignette is a lovely addition to Studio City. It comes from the team behind Graze Social Club and after years of doing pop-ups, they have finally opened a permanent space on Ventura Blvd. The whole concept is very California-driven, with a big focus on seasonality and local sourcing. A lot of the ingredients come straight from the Studio City Farmers Market, which takes place every Sunday right behind them off of Ventura Place. There is a genuine effort to support small farmers and highlight the quality of California produce, and that really comes through in the food. The menu has many familiar flavors but with subtle global influences, so it feels approachable while still being interesting. It is the kind of place that works for a casual dinner, but also feels nice enough for a date or special occasion. The team behind Vignette has experience across every part of hospitality, from farming and butchering to cooking and bartending, and that shows in how the restaurant runs. To Start- Bread & Butter-sourdough with homemade butter Farmer's Market- Charred Cabbage-quarter cabbage served with confit leek jam, picked fresnos, smoked vinegar and herb salad. *I will say this was my favorite thing over all. Skewers- Beef Pho (2)-wagyu cow tongue with Thai avocado sauce, herb salad and peanut crumble Big Plates- Whole Branzino-grilled branzino with citrus butter and charred citrus. *I think it was fun that they served it as a whole fish and left the head for aesthetic Dessert- Duck Fat Caramel Pudding-burnt meringue, thyme shortbread and olive oil Chocolate and Orange Tart-shortbread crust and candied orange Overall, it was truly a tasty and visually pleasing meal. Also, I would highly suggest parking in the residential next to Radford for free and easy access and for finding a spot.

    Whole Branzino, 5+ stars.

This new spot on Ventura Blvd is so good I've already been twice! From the moody and romantic ambience, to the friendly service (shout out to our waitress Taylor), to the inventive California inspired dishes, everything works and leaves you wanting to try more. Below are my favorite dishes: Hanger Steak - 5+ stars. I'm not a big meat person, but this steak was cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. It's complemented with a burnt shallot butter that pairs perfectly with it. Whole Branzino - 5+ stars. I am a big fish guy and this was executed flawlessly, and also served with the head (don't eat that). It had this citrusy butter that also had a whisper of smokiness to it that I really enjoyed. Chocolate Tart w Orange - 5+. I typically don't enjoy chocolate with orange but the orange element was subtle and totally works. The crust was light and buttery and the chocolate was perfection. (Insert drool emoji here) Kanpachi Crudo - 5 stars. A great way to start a meal, light and full of flavor. A must order dish! Pork Skewer - 5 stars. This was a fun small plate with an Asian flair to it and totally tasty. My partner is still talking about this dish. Homemade Sourdough Bread (with butter) - 5 stars. Quite a generous portion and also acts as a great vessel to soak up the flavors of the other dishes throughout the night. Leek Tortellini - 5 stars. My only complaint is that this is a smaller portion (5 pieces of tortellini) and I wanted more! Give me more!!! They offer a great selection of wines here and also have a sommelier on hand to help you navigate the right choice, while also allowing you to try a little sip before committing. Rumor is they're waiting on a liquor license, can't wait to have a martini with that hanger steak! I'll definitely be back soon to continue eating through the menu and also appreciate that the parking has been easy on both trips. Well done Vignette!

Just opened and already one of my favorite spots in Studio City. Came without a reservation and they squeezed us in at the bar, which ended up being the perfect seat in the house. Big shoutout to David who was knowledgeable about the wine and food! So nice! Staff overall was really on their game for a brand new spot. The tortellini was the highlight of the night, the pork belly skewers were perfectly charred, and the Indian inspired eggplant skewers were a really fun surprise. Bread and butter alone was worth the visit. Charred cabbage also smacked. Decor is warm and moody in the best way. They're still waiting on their liquor license so no cocktails yet, but I'll definitely be back for those and everything else I haven't tried. This place is going to get busy fast.

Welcoming Vignette to the Valley, we were excited to come support, especially while still mourning the loss of Vintage Wine + Eats. They've done a beautiful job with the space, and it's clear a lot of thought went into the space to keep the bones but make it their own. That said, the food and overall atmosphere fell a bit short for us. Ventura Boulevard has such a cozy, laid-back neighborhood feel, and this didn't quite capture that warmth. The menu felt very adventurous despite being fairly small, and the pricing felt a bit steep for what was offered. We ordered a variety of dishes hoping something would really stand out, but unfortunately nothing felt memorable enough to bring us back right away. That said, they're still new, and I genuinely hope they find their rhythm and evolve. I'd be happy to see them succeed in the neighborhood. I will say, the music was absolutely a highlight, truly a 10/10. It brought such a fun energy to the space.

We came in as a party of 9 with a reservation and were seated right on time. The restaurant has a great vibe, lively without being too loud, and the service was genuinely excellent. A special shout out to our server, Beckha, who was fantastic. She noticed that part of our table didn't eat cilantro and made sure those dishes came out with it on the side without us even having to ask twice. That level of attention was awesome. The drinks were decent, but I was really disappointed that my $22/glass of champagne was a pretty stingy pour. At that price, I expected better. Unfortunately, the food didn't deliver. It wasn't terrible, but it was pretty forgettable. What really threw us off was that a lot of the dishes leaned strangely sweet, sugar had been added where it didn't belong. None of us liked that flavor profile. Between the odd sweetness and the overall value, we left disappointed. Service and vibe were the highlights, but the food just didn't live up to them. 3 stars feels fair.

Amazing experience! We met the 3 owners at the farmers market while they were promoting their opening and got the pleasure of spending our Mother's Day dinner at Vignette! We ordered a bottle of wine (Somm gave fantastic recs), whole branzino, a few shareable, and dessert! I work in the wine/restaurant industry and let me tell you, 5/5 stars! The service was amazing, kind, knowledgeable and quick. I know they just opened but seeing the owners also running around touching tables and chatting really made the ambiance feel like home. Food was beyond! We ordered so much and I left feeling stratified yet not so full I was going to burst! The courses are savory and bold, while still being light and perfectly portioned. Highly highly highly recommend!

We enjoyed a nice family dinner there last night. Nice location with indoor and outside seating. Parking was easy on the weekend at Bank around the corner. Food, wine and service were great. We tried many things and all very good. Chicken liver pate was amazing as well as the fish, pasta, wine and steak. Highly Recommend!

A wonderful new addition to the fine dining scene in the Valley. This Studio City restaurant does everything right with outstanding dishes including whole branzino with citrus butter and charred citrus, confit whole chicken leg with chicken oil, magic spice and served with mixed greens and a superb tuna credo with celery, apple and parsley. The bread and homemade butter is to die for and a VERY generous serving. Desserts were also amazing, including the chocolate and orange tart. More please! Great wait staff too. 5 well deserved stars out of 5!

It was truly a journey through vintage wines, complemented by an expansive collection of whites, reds, roses, and even beer. There was something for every palate and the selection made the experience feel both intimate and exploratory. What surprised me most was the quality of the food! The risotto arancini was perhaps the best I've had in a long time: crispy on the outside, perfectly creamy inside, and incredibly flavorful. The charcuterie board was another highlight, filled with delightful surprises, including marmelade jam, fava bean chips, quality cheeses, and carefully selected meatss. Every bite brought something different to the table. Overall, this is a charming spot that combines great wine, surprisingly good food and genuinly quality service. I ended up ordering the Rosso Veronese. It was dry overall but had a touch more sweetness than I expected, which made it easy to drink given I'm not much of a wine connoisseur. We also benefited from a special on the wine because it had been featured at an event the previous day. The space itself was comfortable and inviting. We grabbed a spot on one of the couches, which gave the evening a more relaxed feel compared to a typical wine bar setup. Pricing is about what you'd expect for a wine-focused spot. It's not inexpensive, but it didn't feel unreasonable either, especially considering the service and atmosphere. Between the knowledgeable staff, the opportunity to sample wines, and the comfortable setting, I'd happily come back and try a few more selections.

For starters, I think the pours were kind of lacking? Just feels like much smaller pours than I usually get at wine bars. The menu was pretty small, and apparently out of date because a few of the things we were interested in they didn't have that day. We also had like 3x different people serve us, so by the end of it I wasn't even sure who I should be asking for the check. My friend and I sat outside, so maybe the service would be better inside or at least at the bar, but it was just kind of... average at best. I think our waitress was new, so she wasn't really able to answer any questions, and the ones she did answer, ended up being corrected later. Which actually is TOTALLY fine, like I totally understand. But then when she brought our first wines, she accidentally knocked one over or hit it with the other glass or something (it happened fast) but it shattered one of the glasses spilling red wine everywhere, and even a drop on my white shirt!! She was suuuuuuper apologetic, and I can tell she felt bad, and we were not mad. We just kept saying that its okay and accidents happen. She did even bring me soda water for my shirt. Then, we asked if we can do the charcuterie plate with just cheese and no meats (we don't eat pork) and she said sure. She told us the number of cheeses to choose, we did, but then we got a lesser number served to us by a different waiter, and incorrect cheeses. He kindly brought one of the missing cheeses, but informed us that the lesser amount was actually the correct amount for this menu item. Okay, we would have chosen differently had we known that, but alright. Maybe I'm delusional, but between the cheese mixup and the wine spillage (and staining my white shirt), I kind of half expected a little something from them. Like comping one of the four glasses of wine, or maybe an extra little top off or something to say "hey sorry we're a mess today." I would never ASK for it, because as it was I felt bad for the girl who was new, so we just paid (and tipped of course) and left. Overall, its just nothing to write home about...

This small Spanish restaurant opened in September of 2025 and was having a very busy Sunday night when my son and I decided to come in for dinner. They have no parking, so we found a meter on Ventura Blvd. We walked in at 6:50pm and were greeted by Renee (one of the owners) who asked if we had a reservation. We didn't, so he offered us 2 seats at the bar. At first I was a bit hesitant since I was hoping to have a table service meal. Renee encouraged us to try the bar, saying it's still a great experience. Well, he was right! We got 2 nice seats at the corner of the bar and thankfully it wasn't too stuffy. Liana was working the bar and she's also the lovely girl who took care of us during our dinner. She was so sweet, pleasant, kind, knowledgeable and hardworking. She was able to expertly answer all our questions and made sure we were well looked after. She also kept our water glasses full throughout the whole dinner. We ordered quite a few different items and every single dish was OUTSTANDING! There seriously wasn't even one thing we didn't like. We devoured the crumbs on every plate. To start, we had the Dátiles (warm dates with Manchego cheese), followed by the Mushroom Pintxos (Mushroom and Goat Cheese Toast). We actually ended up ordering another order of the toast since I loved it so much. The dates were also delicious, and this is coming from someone who doesn't even like dates. Next up was the Tortilla Española, a classic Spanish dish. It was piping hot, fresh out of the skillet. Nice and fluffy inside, with some spicy aioli on the side that complimented it well. We also got the Calamares a La Plancha, which was also very flavorful and fresh. I'm a huge fan of seafood but never had calamari prepared like this. It was definitely a different experience than the deep fried version I'm used to, but I loved it all. The Gambas Al Ajillo was the next appetizer and it was simply fantastic. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and bursting with flavor. The sauce it came with was so yummy that we saved it to pour over the rice in our entree, the Carne. It's a hanger steak that comes with chimichurri and fries, however we asked for a substitute of rice instead of fries. This steak was cooked to PERFECTION. It was medium rare, just like we asked, and it was top notch quality. The rice and chimichurri also tasted great. It definitely hit the mark for a carnivore like myself. I will say that the wait time between the previous course and the steak was a bit long, and Liana apologized for it before we even said anything. We also shared a Red Sangria and it was DIVINE. It is clear to me that Unidos is a place full of love and passion. It's a very classy place, but in a very modern and relaxed way. It's chic, stylish, and sexy. All the food we ate is proof that everyone in the kitchen loves what they do and cares about what they put on your plate. Everything was super fresh and great quality, and I'm not just talking about the food. The service from everyone was superb! Starting from Renee, to Liana, to Gloria. She was the food runner for the whole restaurant by herself and she was doing an excellent job, quickly and efficiently getting everyone's food to the correct tables. Prices are a bit on the higher end, but appropriate for the quality of food and service. It was worth every penny and we will definitely be back! They have one gender neutral restroom and one women's restroom. Everything was beautiful and clean! There's also some patio seating. Thank you Renee, Liana, Gloria, and Unidos! 10/10!! HANDS DOWN!!

I shared I like Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand and was excited to do a tasting of the three wines he recommended. The Naranjo was bliss. Jake was super fun to chat with and made the already inviting environment, with its nostalgic dark academia decor, even better. Eventually my date and I snacked on some things he ordered which were all incredible too.

Outside was a better temp and ambiance so we elected for that . I was expecting wood fired pizza, but they didn't have it unfortunately :( Not a lot of food options here, more of a casual place for a glass of wine.. so we got wine and charcuterie and left instead of dinner as planned. The cheese board was honestly depressing, with the bread being the best thing on there. I wish there was more cheese .. It was a cute place, but I felt a bit bamboozled . We were sat next to a bush , basically directly next to another couple, which felt like we were in their conversation. My car got trapped in with the parked when we were ready to leave. Service was mid , not very personable . Not sure I'll be back for dinner , maybe if they got some better food options. But cute for a glass of wine if you are local.

Definitely make a reservation, weekdays are chill, but weekends get busy in the best way. The ambience is what really makes it stand out. It genuinely feels like you've stepped into Tulum the dim lighting, earthy tones, and that effortlessly elevated vibe that makes you want to stay all night. The food is solid (seriously, order the pasta), and getting there isn't a hassle with both valet and street parking options. I do wish they had something going on earlier in the week though, because a Monday night here is underrated and deserves more hype. Drinks are a highlight too. My go-to is the "Divorce Papers"--just trust me on that one. And the service? That's where they really separate themselves. Narek runs the place in a way you don't see often always present, always aware, making sure everything flows smoothly without missing a beat. It creates an experience that feels taken care of without being over the top. Overall, it's a true go-to right now. Great crowd, great music, and an atmosphere that keeps you coming back. Easily one of the best spots on Ventura right now !

It's a great spot to hang out, grab a bite, and enjoy a full night of entertainment. The standout highlights: Delicious Food & Craft Cocktails: The food quality was fantastic, featuring perfectly grilled skewers alongside impressive specialty cocktails (including vibrant matcha/green concoctions and lychee-garnished drinks) that taste as good as they look. Unbeatable Entertainment: The live music set a great tone for the night, but the real highlight was the live performances--the dancers and fire acts brought so much energy to the venue! Distinct Hookah Lounge Vibe: Having hookah service throughout gives the space a social vibe with lots of guys enjoying hookah alongside their drinks. Between the vibrant music, tasty food, great drinks, and captivating live show, Rouge makes for an awesome, lively night out.

Perfect place for a day or night time sip, thoughtful snacks on their menu and to enjoy with a friend or two. Lots of vegan friendly finds and as an also Wine Specialist for 15 years I know my way around wine and love discovering new labels as well as ones from all over the world. Haley also supports the community in a big way with a cool bulletin area and display showcasing lots of services, business cards and local happenings. Street parking is around, side streets and further up can be your friend, but if you know this part of North Hollywood in the NoHo Arts District, you know parking can be a journey.
