Dr. Khojayan is the best physician I've ever had, whether it be a specialty or general practitioner. I felt so comfortable with him, because he takes the time to explain concepts and to listen to you. He has an extremely professional bedside manner and is elite when it comes to diagnosing/figuring out what is wrong. I felt like a human and he even took the time to talk to me about something that is a very tough medical issue I am dealing with. He could have just prescribed me medication and sent me on my way, but he knows that health is a combination of the physical, mental and emotional/psychological. Because of the talk we had, it has encouraged me to keep pushing and it gave me the confidence to know I will overcome my medical issue. His staff is extremely kind and professional. I don't know why other people said differently below, but they've always been extremely kind and on top of their work. Dr. Khojayan is an awesome doctor! He is a very smart doctor who knows exactly what he does and truly cares about you! He is very kind and lets you always leave with a smile. Doesn't matter what your problem is, he really helps you to get better in every way! The only thing what is "BIG and BAD": HIS STAFF! The receptionist is barely to understand on the phone. Many times she hung up the phone just because and when you finally made it happen to reach her, she was very unpleasant to speak to! Also, It is very hard to schedule an appointment in general; mostly, you have to wait for 3 weeks till you can go there. Also, you will have to wait (in the doctors waiting room) for an entire time until he actually sees you (schedule at least ! 1 Hour FOR WAIT-TIME) All in all, Dr. Khojayan is an excellent doctor with a big heart! read more

This is the worst place ever! The front desk receptionist literally has no manners, unprofessional, doesn't know Anything about her job or customer service. I literally had to call back and speak to this lady because she was laughing and hung up on my mother 2 times. A grown woman, are you kidding me! My sick father has papers there for already 6 months my mom went in for a check up last week and made sure to remind them to sign the papers for my father and still no one does anything. The front desk girls were a little confused and needed assistance to do their job. However the doctor is absolutely amazing. I was running late to a meeting and the doctor was able to see me shortly as he knew I was in a rush and he was able to finish my checkup completely under 7 minutes. You have to wait over a month to get an appointment, rarely in the mornings and when you do get there you still have to wait 20-30 mins to see the doctor... How is this possible if we have to make appointments a month ahead ??? ... you have to come into the office to pick up a form to have your blood drawn because the front desk troll is too busy to send out the form unlike any OTHER Glendale office... So in order to see a doctor and be prescribed the right medications, you need to take 2 days out of your work schedule just to get a check up... Let me start off by saying I've been going here for about 3 years now and year after year it's gotten worse!! I see the change in the doctor too and his office manager, horrible personality all about money & doesn't give a shiznttttttt about his patients.. Dying from severe back pain, with sciatica and the DR. himself tells me people in Armenia live with this everyday, you shouldn't be complaining. Doctors in Armenia dont make over $200k either and actually help people (FYI). Horrible... Anna, the front desk moron. Wow. If it wasn't for the doctor she'd probably be unemployed, Actually not probably but 100% she would be. The worst, most irresponsible unorganized person I've met in my life & and I've dealt with some really bad people and situations in my life. When I asked them they just don't have any idea.I had to call to Advantise hospital personally to find the result of my XRay, which was their own responsibility to do that. The staff has gotten considerable better. I am certain they are changing to the positive. My previous review might have been somewhat harsh towards to front desk personnel. After seeing how hard they work and the different types of patients they have to deal with on a daily basis, I have changed my mind. Their workday can get hectic and of course it's understandable that they answer your calls late or need reminders for certain tasks you need etc... As for the Doctor, he still remains a very kind and caring individual. He cares about each individual patient and unlike other doctors that I have taken my mother to, he does not rush you, answers all your questions to the best of his knowledge. read more

ADRESS CHANGE!! Their new address is: 435 Arden Ave, Glendale, CA 91203 Now for my review. I LOVE Dr Khojayan with all my heart. My family and I were one of his first patients when he opened up his office. He is SO kind, patient, nice, and everything you would want a doctor to be. He listens to every concern you have and explains it in ways that you cant not understand. He does everything to figure out your condition. He remembers EVERYTHING, and when i say this, i mean it! I had no insurance for a couple of years and recently went back to him as soon as i got my insurance. He remembered everything from 4 years ago, not every doctor does that. Now the staff; This is a VERY busy office, and working in a doctors office myself, i can say i understand why they lag everything. Just remember, even though each one of us is an important patient, they have a lot more patients-we're not the only ones. But no matter how bad the front desk is, we don't go for the front desk receptionists, we go to consult with him. I would recommend everyone to him! P.S.- Back in the day he used to take PI cases too, dont know if he does now though. You can probably call and check. read more

Prior to my appointment with Dr. Khojayan, the medical assistant Annie guided me to a room, she was extremely helpful and had so much patience with me. The worst of the worse doctor ( not even deserve the title DOCTOR), not only playing games with his/her patients, his words means nothing, he suppose to call my mother regarding her medication, so far we waited 3 days and no call,we called his office 3 times, his staff told us after the third time he will contact us. So far no call. While my mother was at the hospital, he personally told me that he will be visiting her patients at the hospital, during er 5 days at the hospital not even once she visited my mother, his competence is down to the drain, he can not even answer a simple question, in this case, what cause the sudden increase of high blood pressure. I asked him 3 times, and received just BS. Another time he suppose to send a medication to a CVS pharmacy located in Belvedere/Tiburon, for my mother while she was staying at my place in San Francisco, we waited 5 days and no prescription sent, we call multiple times and his secretary told us that the perscription was sent, after she got back to Glendale, and talked to him, he was blamed it on his secretary, that she never forwarded the message to him. His staff also are the most unprofessional, rude, incompetent staff I've ever seen. He does not even want to spend time with his patients to at least listen to them, he just jumping inbetween patient with a false laughter in his lip-service mouth. The only thing he is good at to write prescription drugs, even when it's not necesery or need it. EVEN OTHER DOCTORS DO NOT ACCEPT HIS MEDICAL JUDGMENT. It's been proven to me now. This is the worst dr I have ever had in my life! I came in complaining about heart pain and he gave me medication for gerd (stomach problems) which I did not have and he ran no tests either! He didn't tell me I should be only taking them every 14 days he told me to take them until I feel better. He didn't give me proper instructions.I wasn't aware that drs can make things worse rather then better after taking these for 3 months because I assumed the dr might be right. I did develop stomach problems that I haven't been able to fix for 3 years now. I had no stomach problems prior to the pills. This doctor also doesn't look at you in the face when talking to you and won't do referrals to see specialists. He kept claiming I don't need to see a heart dr which I did I had heart papiltations and shooting pains. I honestly hope this dr loses his medical license before he ruins someone else's life. Worst Office Staff Ever. Let me preface this review by saying that Dr. Khojayan is a really sweet and kind doctor. Too bad you probably won't get past his skunk of a head office person, Ana. After finding him on my insurance website, I called and asked if he was accepting new patients. Yes they said, so I switched my family over to Dr. Khojayan as our primary physician. Here are the 3 visits: 1st visit, after an hour wait: Ana - "We only accept cash for your copayment, so you'll have to walk (with my sick child) a block down the street to a cafe to take use their ATM" Me - "Seriously? It's 2015 and the lady at the farmers market who sells tomatoes has a swiper on her iPhone". Was pretty sure the odds were 50/50 my card was going to get skimmed at the janky ATM, buy my kid was sick so what are you gonna do? Phone call to arrange 2nd visit Ana- "I'm sorry but we don't treat children". Me- That's funny, because I'm holding the Dr.s business card and the only thing printed smaller then Dr. Vigen Khojayan MD, is FAMILY PRACTICE! After explaining to this unpleasant nightmare of a woman that my kids were indeed Dr. Khojayan's patients, we get the appt., but this time after my one hour wait in the waiting room, I brought cash!! Phone call to arrange 3rd visit Ana - "I'm sorry but Dr. Khojayan is out of the country for two months so you'll have to see the physician covering for him. Me - Call the covering guy who tells me he not only doesn't accept my insurance, but doesn't see people under 21. Call Ana back. Ana - "I'm sorry buy there is nothing I can do for you. And your insurance is no good". The same insurance company that referred me to this skunk in the first place. I filed a formal complaint with my insurance company, and switched doctors. Stay away from this doctor . the only thing he care is money, he doesn't sign any paper unless he is paid . write prescription over the counter , while the insurance is paying for it. Usually farmacy is suggesting to call doctor to write the medication again , so patient doesn't need to pay. the wait time is more than one hour. the phone call time is usually 30 to 45 minutes to answer the simplest question. Doctor is always forgetful and give wrong medication as well as dosages. Becarefull if you want to continue with him double check everything and be ready to pay because he is a hungry for money and don't help you for free. the appointment is no less than 1 and half to 2 months wait and always says go to Urgent care. read more

I have nothing bad to say about Dr. Khojayan, but his staff is AWFUL!!!!!! I had/have kidney pain and I've been trying to get my results since MARCH!!!! I went in in March, he said I had to get tests done. It took about 1.5 months to get authorization because his staff member was lagging on sending in the request form. I called her every single day and every time her response was "OMG! I forgot! I'm so sorry.. I'll send it right now". Then I'd call the next day to see if she had sent it, and I got the SAME response. Finally, I was authorized for the tests and did the first one immediately. Second one took me about 3 weeks to do (personal reasons). My first test results were faxed to the dr's office THE NEXT DAY!!! When my second test's results were sent to them, I received a call from his office asking if I had done the first test. I said yes, three weeks ago, they sent you the results immediately. She said they don't have it. So I called the place I got the first test done at and they said they sent it the very next day, but would send again and they did. I have yet to hear from the dr's office (it's now been another 2 weeks). I just called and she had no idea what I was talking about. She said she'd call me back... let's wait and see when she does. These people are IMPOSSIBLE to deal with. If it wasn't for my stupid insurance I'd never in my life walk into this dr's office. Can't wait to get married in 2 months so I can use my husband's insurance and go back to my old doctor (Dr. Bracht) who would NEVER put me through this. Their office is amazing!!!! These people seem like they don't even know what they're doing. Side note.. when I went into the office the first time, she "misplaced" my paperwork and was trying to convince me I never gave it to her. The front desk girl is worthless. First she gave me an appointment at 9:30 am 2 months ago I showed up she said my appointment is at 4:30. So I went back at 4:30. Sat there for an hour and waiting patiently. Realized my file is under a pile of paper work when I asked about my appointment. left with some kind words. Made another appointment took a month again and sat there for an hour again. Figured out the receptionist is having a mental breakdown saw her crying after a phone call with another patient . She is just plain stupid. Always crying. For some reason. I asked to speak to the doctor all 3 of the girls made that impossible. The doctor does not know his staff is hiding patients complaints from him. I haves tried to convey the issue to the doctor. He is such an incredible doctor, not only is he knowledgeable but extremely nice. Our visit with him took a little over an hour and left the office feeling confident and relieved. I have never visited a doctor who gave us this much of their time and truly cared about our needs. I am giving two stars because of the DOCTOR. Doctor khojayan is a good doctor, he listens to you and helps you with your problems. I don't have any complain about him, BUT HIS STaff ARE HORRIBLE. To make an appointment I had to call them so many times bucause phone was eather busy, or they were picking up the phone and hanging up the phone. I had two blood tests and only got to know the first one. Didn't get me back for the second one. For my X-ray they told me wait for authorization. Every time I called them they told me it is in process. After 3 months waiting I called and they told me "ooo you don't need any authorization any more , call and make and appointment from hospital ". I called the hospital and went there for x-ray and they asked me to give them the doctor's order or authorization. Of cource I didn't have it. After 2 hours being in the hospital, I called them and told them that they need doctor's order to do my x-ray. She said" I am going to fax it". I Never got it. The only way i could do my x-ray was sitting in emergency room and wait till they called me. After all these problems now I am having problem to get the result. I called them and they are acting like they don't know what I am talking about. Now if you want to deal with this wonderful staff, go ahead. Unfortunately when I was choosing my Doctor, I didn't care about reviews about his staff but from now i will. I got my lesson. read more
