Cozy wine shop with delicious wine & cheese tastings on Fridays (5-7). I sampled 6 types of wine from all around the world including Portugal's Encostas de Serpa, New Zealand's Babish, South Africa's red wine Eikeboom, Austria's white wine Steininger. There's a different theme every week. There are also tastings on Sat afternoons (1-5pm). Surprisingly, the Portugal wine was my favorite. As Portugal is known for its Port, the wines are often overlooked. As a fan of port, I'm glad I dabbled into Portugal red wine. I bought a bottle of the Encostas de Serpa. I love how the Stonehouse red wine made in CA resembles the quaint stonehouse building in Vienna. The Cromwell cheddar cheese peppered with scallions reminded me of sour cream and onion. I enjoyed the scrumptious Scottish cheese so much that I bought it for my dinner party. It was a hit! Highly recommend coming here with a small group for a fun tasting of unique wine paired with decadent cheese. Can't wait to come back!

Absolutely love the new location! Beautiful rustic feel and 18 century building. The use of old wine crates on the stair case is so cute. The staff is absolutely wonderful. Defiantly know there stuff ! Next time your in the area go and check them out and make sure you pick up a bottles of wine! You won't be disappointed ! Victor and staff Thank you so much for showing me around and the nice conversation ! I will definitely be back!

The place is really just carry-out, they have fresh made, hot pastys to go, which they can sell, as well as frozen pastys to bring home. They also have a large selection of snacks directly from England. Service was helpful, the guy working the counter was descriptive and helped me with how the various pastys were made. Also, when walking in the amazing smells of all the workers in the back making food smelled incredible! I opted for some of nearly all their offerings of pastys. A couple of days later I made the chicken masala for lunch. I used their directions for baking, not the microwaving to get it ready to eat. They were spot on and the pasty came our perfectly warmed up and ready to eat. The crust was outstanding! None of it was dry or tastless, the whole thing was flaky, perfect, buttery, and tasty! The filling was very nice, though it had no flavors that resembled Indian or "masala" to me, so I'm not sure what they consider masala, but that's not a bad thing as the filling tasted great! I'm looking forward to making and eating all the rest, I'm sure they'll be great too!

Beef: normally this would be my favorite back in the day but here... Absolutely no flavor. Quite surprised but I would not order again. Chicken Masala: decent flavor, probably my favorite out of all the oasties I got here. Moroccan lamb: decent flavor also. Chicken cordon bleu: not sure If I got a bad one but yea, hard pass. Sausage rolls: decent flavor. Price point is ok as the oasties were quite filled. It's just that a lot of them just didn't have that taste that I gotta come back for more taste. It was just.... Eh.

Everything I've tried is excellent, from the pierogies to the borscht, but you simply must try their sausage. Whether you get it to take home or on one of their fantastic sandwiches, the quality and flavor of their house-made sausage is out of this world. It's savory, perfectly spiced, and the highlight of any visit. If you are looking for real, hearty comfort food and a fantastic, old-school deli experience, Polka Deli is the place! A lot of these foods are really familiar, and the selection is just so far and wide. I especially love how everything here is true to the ingredients and the pure authenticity of what the food is. Everyone we saw were delighted to greet the folks behind the counter cutting cold cuts, or just to show the sheer amount of pierogi they were stocking up on. At the counter, we ordered from their menu which had a very delicious borsht. It came pipping hot with some dill, and the veggies were nice and cooked down. The sampler is a must try if you want to get a good sense of the foods they offer, really enjoyed the varity of kielbasa and the hot mustard it comes with to dip. Gołąbki was generously filled and pan fried served with stove top potatos. A lot of their pastries are either imported or made in house, and it came in a good variety like poppyseed flavor. We enjoyed the food in their eating nook and enjoyed the really peaceful views of the strip mall. Really here for the homey vibes, something for just about anyone who is missing these nostalgic flavors. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

They have a variety of things, food, drinks, sushi, snacks, cosmetics, toys. There were also SO many small toy vending machines. It was very cool to see so many options. There was also a cafe and restaurant in the back. The cafe was popping and the line was long for their matcha. The restaurant was actually such a LET DOWN. I was expecting authentic Japanese food, but the portions were small and the meals were pricer $15+ and not that special. Beef udon: regular and I could've made it at home Beef rice bowl: their top pick, the beef was not tender, and it was dry. Really simple but not good. Oddly enough, they had the tiniest water cup that you can pour for yourself. It was like 2 gulps. I also tried some drinks. They have an assortment of Moshi brand drinks in a can. They are expensive, but so so good. The strawberry matcha was my FAV. We also tried their milk coffee in a can, it tastes like what you'd expect from coffee in a can.

There's a whole refrigerated area for ready-to-eat food like onigiri and katsu, along with a bakery, cafe, and a small food court area. My friend and I stopped by for lunch earlier this week. The markup is kind of crazy for cafeteria food, but he was really missing Japanese food from his recent travels. There's a variety to order from, and the food was served quickly after ordering. UNI IKURA RICE BOWL - 29.99 This was one of the current specials, and I love uni so I couldn't resist. There wasn't a whole lot of uni or ikura (half of the bowl was more so decoration items like sprouts, ginger, a whole leaf, and wasabi) with lots of rice underneath. The rice was the perfect texture, and after seasoning it a bit with some soy sauce, it was just right. The uni wasn't the most fresh, but the ikura was decent. Overall, good, but just not worth the price for what you get. My friend got a tonkatsu curry rice, a croquette appetizer, and a slice of cream roll cake for $5 less than how much I spent on my single uni ikura rice bowl. The tonkatsu curry rice was quite good, and only $14.98, which is really good for today's economy. If I'm ever back for the food, I'll definitely get the tonkatsu.
