Principal at meadowlark(Seth cabonor and Mathew Dixon) always called me up to his office to assault me and at random times of the day to avoid "any trouble" and then afterwards he always said no one is going to believe you. We went to court for this and he ended up getting out of it every time with blatant lies about him sexually assaulting me. All in all do not attend this school unless you're ready for the constant haggling and power trips of the cops and administrators at this school.

They have the flexibility to study true math(no core math) and instill great foundation skills for both home and school. Our daughter & son went through this school, and it's one of the main reasons we moved into this area. It was and continues to be one of the top academic high schools in the state. The teachers here maintain a welcoming learning atmosphere and have great relationships with the students. The principal, Brad Royal, keeps this school running effectively and efficiently. A lot of others move into the area just to be able to have their kids attend here. Their reputation is great. Their availability of extra curricular activities and clubs makes for the icing on the cake.

My son has been playing basketball for WCCC for going on 4-5 years and we have always participated…read morein their fundraising to help the center out exceeding the whole league in sales for 3-4 years. This past winter league was horrible. Everyone one of our games were at a local high school and we always had refs that's were training so there were lots of bad calls, no concessions and worst of all most games were in a smaller gym where seating was very limited but yet we were charged the same amount as other able to play and have better benefits and usage of the center. Shortly into the season other parents and myself noticed a league member Rick Bottoms was missing or not keeping score correctly on many occasions but nothing changed, it was never corrected. At the end of the season I expressed my concerns and issues in an email to the league for constructive criticism and hopefully get a resolution. Instead I got a response from the leagues Treasurer, Terri Goodman telling me I needed to find another league for my son! No resolution not even a helping hand or notice that they would try to make corrections. Then I contacted the leagues president, Coal Grogan via text and asked him to please review the emails because of her rudeness and to address issues but never even got a response. I was told by many parents with kids at this league that it was all about politics but didn't listen and unfortunately they are right so beware. I will be happy to share the emails for verification. The worst part about this situation is that it's hurting who it's suppose to be about and that is the kids/players!

In contrast, West Forsyth was a stark difference from the world I'd known. In all honesty, there were two teachers I would say you have to watch out for, Smith (AP English) and Martin (AP World, I believe). I won't go into detail, but if you're a minority student - this is a school that is not open minded (go figure, it's the south) and you will get discriminated and told that your work was 'not done by you' because how could a minority student be capable of such? Luckily, I got into the college I wanted by my own accord. I wish North Carolina really paid attention to who they hire as a teacher, but it seems this is all by design.... If you're an educator, do better and be better. Don't teach kids if you haven't worked on yourself as a person. Oh, and if you don't like kids... what are you doing with your life, seriously?

There is little advocacy for children, and the parents are afraid to say a word, lest their children become targets.
