Sorry for the long review, but I want to explain things…read more I had been going to the Winston -Salem Red Cross to donate platelets for several years and donated 303 units. My last donation was last year. Here's why. I know it's always cold there and I prepare. It was December and I had on fleeced lined jeans, a t shirt, sweat shirt and fleece vest. I also brought my blanket and heated gloves. They provided me a warm blanket which I very much appreciated. Somewhat later I started shivering, like hyperthermic shivering. I ask if I could please get another blanket and I was told "Our policy is only one blanket" I continued to get colder (platelet donations take hours) and I asked if I could PLEASE get another blanket. Response, I will, but not everyone would this for you. Haven't been back since and I can't find a way to share my concern with the Red Cross itself or that donation center.

Barbara patiently tailors her education to the level of her learners. She has the appropriate equipment so we may practice what we've learned. She is very flexible in scheduling of classes. The cost of her classes is less than what others charge. The only drawback is her classroom location is difficult to find using GPS and MapQuest. She is aware of this and promptly answers the phone number given to call if you get lost. I have and will continue to recommend Heart2Heart to my colleages.
