My department is comprised of all remote workers, so we usually only see each other in virtual meetings. Just shy of 40 people broke up into 4 teams to cook 4 separate dishes from veggie to dessert. We had such a great time! I always send out a survey to my team regarding the annual event and every bit of feedback I received regarding the Iron Chef Experience was 100% positive! The experience was well organized, well managed, and in a great facility. All of the food was amazing and I feel some great bonds were formed across all areas of my department. I would highly recommend these guys for whatever level of event you are looking into.

We made a delicious salad dressing, chicken Florentine, ratatouille, and flaming cherries jubilee, to pour on top of a decadent Bobby Boy's Bakery chocolate cake! Everything was delicious. Chef Don regaled us with interesting stories of his world travels as a chef on a private yacht, chef for a catering company that served several major airlines, executive chef for a major tobacco company, and chef and owner of several restaurants. All who attended felt like we learned some tricks, were well fed, and made a new friend!

This is a run-of-the-mill JoAnn Fabric store. I have visited maybe 10 times so far and each visit…read morewas neither spectacular or terrible. Most times I visit this store for fabric supplies. The selection is fair; do not expect high end/ high quality fabric. One recent time when I bought three clothing patterns that were on sale, the sales clerk didn't notice that their computers were not updated regarding the sale and I would have been charged $45 rather than the sale price total of $9. Be on your toes about sale prices! I don't blame the person working there as this is not a store known for being tech savy. Still, know that sometimes their checkout computers are off. One nice section of JoAnn's is their upholstery fabric wall in the far back of the store. Use one of the perpetual 40% off coupons, and you will get a fair price for your decorating materials. The staff vary in their personalities. I suspect staff grumpiness is proportional to how long they worked there. When I get fabrics cut, a lot of the workers will make nice small talk and ask about my project or talk about what crafting they like to do. I am sure that if you have a question and ask nicely, they will try there best to help. All in all, there are limited places to get fabric in Winston Salem, and this JoAnn store is fine for basic needs.

I appreciate all the support received from both Ms. J. Campbell ( cheerleader ) & Ms. A. Bartley-Guevara (a fountain of knowledge & experience). CSRE's curriculum coupled with Julie's passion and knowledge of the material creates a learning environment that prepares students for success. The teaching style is generally Power Point-based, however, interactive activities, games, and discussions are also implemented to reach those with different learning styles. A cram course is also offered to prepare students for the class exam. Jane Bowser's cram course is exceptionally helpful, as she touches on problem topics and overall exam preparation strategies/tips. Lane Young, CSRE's director, sincerely wants students to succeed. This desire is illustrated in many ways, from the well-organized syllabus, to clear communication with students prior to the start of class, to the snacks and refreshments provided for students in the classroom to enjoy during class and breaks. The prelicensure course is not a passive experience - you must read the textbook, and you must attend class. If you treat this class seriously, and put in the appropriate effort, CSRE will more than prepare you for success on the state and national licensure exam!

We've done a few of these before and really enjoyed them, always ending up with something useful and unique to us, like bowls, vases etc r this time was supposed to be bird house, but we went rogue and made console holders instead. The "Taste of art" classes are offered in many subjects, pottery, wood working glass, print making etc...no experience is needed, it's truly geared towards beginners to see if it's something you'd like pursue further with other classes. Pricing is reasonable, staff has always been friendly, open to helping and supplies are typically always provided. We've done this as a date night to break routine several times and no doubt will do it again. Get your creative juices flowing and go try something new!

The cost is $160 but they do have scholarships available. I was blessed to be awarded one and only had to pay about $60 for the class! This particular class is every Tuesday night for the month of September. There are LOTS of creative classes available in numerous mediums. I'll post a few screenshots to give an idea! They also have classes for youth! There is a parking lot directly across from the building. Just be mindful not to park in any reserved spots. There is also some street parking nearby. The location is visually appealing which I appreciated. The staff members I encountered were very pleasant and helpful as I found my way to the photography studio. The instructor Sydni Bibb is very engaging, helpful and supportive as we all learn what we're doing. I will be relocating soon but if I weren't, I'd be coming here for lots more opportunities to foster my creative side! Incredible place
