Thank goodness I brought my car there because it turned out all FOUR of my hub bearings were bad. Mike said he's never seen all four go bad all at once. He also told me I needed to replace front and back brakes, and I also got an oil change. The price for all of this work was phenomenal - if I went to the dealership it certainly would have been double, if not more! Carbone's is definitely my new mechanic shop. The fans has a strange sound and the front hood not closing properly. Later I was robbed by this shop owner. He looked at my car first and told me that the car needed to replace the fan motor and a cooling fan. He gave me a very high quote, which surprised me. So I hoped that he could also fix the problem of the front hood which is not closing properly . He said he wouldn't do it. So I said the price was too high and I couldn't fix the car here. So he started to be tough and forced me to pay a $50 consultation fee. I was forced to pay this money. I am a single mother and this is my only car. It is a very old 2011 car and it is not worth $1,000. And I just had a car accident few months ago.And a friend of mine helped me repair the front part of the car. And this shop's owner named GARY actually asked me for nearly $800 to repair the car, which of course I can't afford. Yesterday, this man named GARY he robbed me. He took away my $50 which I worked so hard everyday earned to feed my child. My car's problems are still there. I will never forget that he forced me to hand over my credit card, and he even forbid me to touch my car before I pay him .I will never forget the ugly face of this man named GARY. I have been on the market for a new mechanic for a long time. My car broke down and was towed by AAA. I found Joe Guarino's as an approved shop on the AAA site. Their reviews were absolutely impeccable and there were so many people that took the time to review them! None of the other shops had many reviews and if they did have a few reviews, they weren't that great. Joe's shop really stood out! It was nice that I was able to schedule an appointment online over the weekend in the late evening and I promptly received a call back from Rich in the office, who is just wonderful! They are very honest and fair. They could have taken advantage of the situation being my car had to be towed there. We suspected the problem was much bigger than it was and they assured me that it was something minor and I didn't even have to pay a ton of money. It was very affordable. They are "woman" friendly and still take the time to explain everything to you in lay-person's terms to where you can understand. They do not dismiss you or talk to you like you're "just a woman"! They look over everything and assess your vehicle for any and all issues and breakdown what is priority as well as what is not priority to fix. They even take the time to explain proper maintenance items and at what intervals they are suggested to be performed. They take the time to ask you questions about all repairs you have had done so they can put it into their system and get to know your car's history. This helps to asses things as they come up and gives them a holistic full picture which helps for future accuracy in diagnostics. I have never seen (in my 52 years) any mechanic take the time to do this. It's exceptional! That also take time to break down the bill and itemization for you so that you know what you are paying for. The gentlemen (owner and office manager) there are so very pleasant (Joe and Rich) and just so personable. You will never find another mechanic shop quite like this one! I promise!

Always, top notch service at fair prices by an honest owner. However, yesterday I took my vehicle for service, and was shocked to discover that the place had been sold, and was now known as "J. Morales Service Station" or something similar. One of the reasons why I had always brought my car to Lexington Service, aside from the great service, was that I could wait for my vehicle since I have no way of getting home and then getting back there. However, the signs on the new place indicated that waiting would no longer be possible. I had no idea how good, or honest, this new owner is, or how good his service would be. Furthermore, if I couldn't wait for my vehicle, it would cost me additional money in uber or other fees to get there and back. So, I decided not to leave my car and went somewhere else.

They got antifreeze all over your belt. The damage is done now. You have to change the belt. And I'll wash out the mess they made." They would fix it I would take it home hours later check engine light will come back on. Third time when I took it to these guys so they can figure out what it was that they did wrong, they ended up leaving my car sitting on the street for a whole week without even looking at it.
