They can transfer the film to USB drive or dvd. Also they gave me two tiny vhs type master copies in case I lost or damaged my dvd. In addition, they spliced all the 8mm film onto larger reels. This was all done before the time frame they quoted and adjusted the price down as there wasn't as much film as they estimated when I dropped it off. If you are looking for good hands to preserve the memories of your family give this company a shot. I will use them again in the future for sure.

When I submitted the tape to be digitised, they conducted a technical assessment, quoted a price. However, they sent the quote to the wrong email address!, causing more than two weeks of unnecessary delays. On top of that, they didn't recogniz during the assessment that they lacked the technical capability to handle the job to start with!. Instead, they proceeded anyway and requested full charge which I paid, wasting my time and money. If you can't manage something as basic as sending an email to the correct address or properly identifying your technical limitations, you shouldn't be operating in this industry. Because of this incompetence and delays, I lost the chance to work with a more professional company. My only month in the country has been wasted because of this situation. This is clearly a basic shop for simple tasks, not a professional service provider.

It's such a relief to know that when I send in a job, it will always come back done right the first time. I was a previous customer, when I went into reorder business cards I decided that I would to choose new ones and possibly design a logo for my business. The gentleman behind the counter was less than helpful and his main concern was what type of vehicle I was driving, which was located outside the front door. I inquired about my desire to make up new cards and asked for some help and he gave me a binder with samples of business cards but offered no further help. I inquired about further creative help in designing new business cards and a logo, so asked who could help me and he said they had someone on staff named Kathy and he would give me her my number. It took two days for me to receive a call back from Kathy, she expressed to me how busy she was, too busy to call a customer back? Well anyhow, I set up a time to meet. I showed up on time and met with her after a short wait. After stating my intentions and giving Kathy a little input on how my initial greeting at Allegra went I still wanted to do business with her shop. I intially communicated with Kathy on what we talked about. When following up with a call, again Kathy stated how busy she has been. When I expressed my feelings on my experience on this small project with her up to the present time with a little dismay, thats when Kathy let me have it. She stated that she felt because I mentioned that I thought maybe another shop would do my design work for free in order to get the printing work that I had no intentions for paying for her time and effort until this point. I felt her talking down to me was so unprofessional. I guess my project was not to her liking. I would not recommend anybody I know to use this shop based on my experience with Allegra in Waltham. Someone answer me this..How do you treat walk in customers like this when we have the ease of the internet these days?

The owner, Tim, has been my personal coach all the while giving me one-on-one attention without fail. Each week he greets me with a smile and we quickly get to work. Using an "ergonomic" approach called Functional Voice Training, Tim guides you through a warm-up and carefully into full singing, warming your voice as you go. He is not afraid to give you honest feedback and has a long list of physical exercises you can perform to fine tune your voice in class and beyond. In my time with Blink I have advanced in music theory, personal recording, guitar and piano as well. Most importantly, though, I leave each session feeling energetic and inevitably in a great mood. I call it my music therapy. The result of my training has been profound. I started as a musical amateur who lacked pitch control, musical theory knowledge and confidence. The result of my journey has been the ability to sing a self-authored solo to my bride on stage at my wedding reception. The performance and the experience made a great impression on our guests, my wife and myself. I have Blink Music to thank for that moment. Afterward, I had my song recorded at Blink Music and had an excellent experience dealing with their engineers. The recording quality was excellent and at this point it is up to me to take things as far as I like commercially. If I had to make any negative remarks about Blink Music, it would be that the location does not have any parking of its own. Also, it would be good if they had a second recording booth. Other than that, I can highly recommend Blink for your musical training and recording needs.
