We don't take a lot of photos and are pretty camera-shy, but Nicole was very helpful and gently guided us on what to do and made us feel free to try out different things. She was very gracious during our session and even went a little over time because we had to feed the baby in the middle of it. Photos came back within two weeks and we're very happy with them. I wanted pictures that people would want to look at, rather than just another wedding album. David listened to everything I said and took my vision. Nicole was such a pleasure to work with, from our initial phone conversations to meeting in person to design our wedding album. We were so fortunate to have Nicole and her team photograph our special day. Nicole, Karen, and Phoebe arrived promptly to our hotel and immediately went to work photographing our day. They were all incredibly professional, friendly, and organized. I have never met anyone that was as organized as Nicole. She really spends time planning everything out so that the day runs smoothly. Nicole and her crew also worked very well with our videographer. They complemented each other well. Not only is Nicole invested in quality photographs, but she is invested in getting to know the couple. Nicole called us several times before the wedding to talk about how we met and to share our story. We really appreciated this because not only did it allow Nicole to learn more about us, but she was somehow able to capture the essence of our relationship in her photographs. Nicole pays great attention to detail. She has extraordinary vision. You can tell she has a true talent for this. We joked with Nicole that we are awkward in photos, but Nicole eased our nerves and miraculously overcame our photo-awkwardness! We also want to thank Nicole for her patience with photographing our dogs, Dallas and Bradley, on our wedding day. They even brought a squeaky ball to get the attention of our pups during photoshoots (and even doggy bags for any stops along the way--superb service!). Nicole works with you and goes through a detailed plan on who you would like her to focus on whether it be friends, family, wedding party, etc. She is also open to all your ideas about the types of photographs you would like. When it was time to design our photo album, Nicole invited us to her studio to watch a slideshow of our photos on a projector. This was truly an experience, and it really brought back such wonderful memories. We designed a high-quality photo album and it is truly breathtaking. Nicole, thank you and your crew for such an amazing job on our wedding. We can't thank you enough for all you have done for us. The pictures came out better than we could have ever imagined. Thank you for being so fun to work with and for allowing us to share with you our love story. We highly recommend Nicole Chan Photography.

From start to finish, we were so pleased with her services. We opted to take advantage of Daniela's complimentary engagement session. We met out by Beavertail Lighthouse (apparently one of her favorite spots around town). This was really the first time that my husband and I had taken pictures of this nature so, of course, we were just a little anxious going into it all. Daniela made everything SO easy, fun, and relaxed. The very next day she sent over a few sneak peak pics from the engagement session. The photos were STUNNING. It made me even more excited to have her as my photographer! On the day of the wedding Daniela showed up and we just had a brief conversation about any of the pictures I specifically wanted. I also gave her a list of my "need to have" pics. She made sure that all of these were taken. Further, we did all of our family/wedding party pics BEFORE the ceremony, which was probably the greatest idea ever. My wedding party was actually able to enjoy cocktail hour while my husband and I snagged just a few more shots we wanted. I would also like to note that it can sometimes be difficult herding a large group of people and also fitting them into one picture with a cohesive look. Daniela was a master at this and, again, just such a sweet and calm presence. During the actually wedding Daniela walked around with a big smile on her face. When I received my pictures I was just floored. I knew that they were going to be good because I already saw the engagement pics but the wedding pics just blew everything out of the water. She captured every intricate detail so beautifully. I'm so grateful I hired Daniela! She is a genuinely kind, wonderful, TALENTED person. If I could hire her to take pictures for every single major (or even minor) life event, I would. We kept saying "let's be real life friends!!" all throughout the wedding LOL! She just really is one of those people that you love being around. Words truly cannot express how much my husband and I loved having Daniela as our wedding photographer. If you can snag her for your wedding, DO SO ASAP! It will be your best wedding decision too!!!

We chose to shoot in the South End to capture the beautiful brownstones and fall foliage, and the photos turned out even better than I imagined. Our situation was a bit tricky because we were working around a sleepy 6-month-old. Daniela kindly adjusted her schedule at the last minute so our baby could take a full nap beforehand, something any parent will appreciate! During the shoot, she gave us so much direction on how to stand, pose, and find the best lighting, which made the entire experience effortless and enjoyable. People walking by even stopped to say how great the photos were going to look -- and they were right. The images came out stunning. I've received so many compliments on our Christmas card this year, and it was hard to narrow it down to just a handful of photos because everything she captured was perfect. Daniela truly brought my vision to life and beautifully documented our memories in Boston. I can't recommend Sister City Photography enough for anyone looking for thoughtful, high-quality family photos.
