We were very camera shy, but she made us feel so comfortable and really helped us come out of our shells for some beautiful photos. We were so excited for the wedding, but were devastated when we had to postpone. Lindsey was super understanding and kept working with us as we worked out a new date in 2021. Luckily, restrictions were loosened a couple months before our wedding so we were on! At first, we were really worried about planning the reception with new restrictions, but Lindsey stepped in and showed us how prepared she was for the changes at the venue. Ask her for the big PDF to get a good idea of how simple she makes the wedding timeline look. We filled out a detailed questionnaire for any special photos we wanted captured, and the people required for our bridal party / family group shots. Even though I thought there were so many requests, "Soccer Mom" Lindsey was amazing on the day of the wedding, getting everyone in and out for photos lightning fast, so that they could go back and enjoy the reception. It was a whirlwind in the moment, but looking back at the photos, we are so happy we got every group shot we requested, and they were all so fun! From morning to late night, Lindsey and her assistant were there for us, rolling with the last-minute issues and focused on making us look great! They really went the extra mile to make us and our families feel comfortable, and worked non-stop the whole day. We really appreciate her style and editing, and were floored with how many amazing photos we got. To be honest, I'm pretty disappointed in my wedding photos. They're artistic and there are a lot of candids of wedding guests (like we wanted) but there are pretty much no good pictures of my husband and I where you can actually see both of our faces clearly, with no heads cut off (she cut his head off in 90% of the photos and he's not abnormally tall or anything). We decided recently to maybe frame a few of our wedding photos since we spent all that $ and when we were looking for options, we realized we had none. If I looked great in one, his head was cut off. If he looked great in one, I was sort of blurred out and fuzzy (intentionally I guess). Like I said, they're creative. But there are basically NONE that captured us looking terrific on our wedding day. Terrific scenery, terrific flowers, pretty cupcakes, nice shots of my dress or me having makeup applied, cute flower girl shots, some distant full length shots of us, a nice picture of me dancing with my dad etc. But not one good , close-up picture of me and my husband together. it makes me sad.

We absolutely love her and are so glad we were able to meet her. She has a special eye for beauty. Our engagement photos were on a super chilly, grey day in Boston. Lauren took us to Faneuil Hall, where she had never shot before, and spent time scouting it ahead of time in the cold before we even showed up. During the subsequent shoot, it felt so leisurely, she made us so comfortable even when posing with hundreds of tourists in the background. I think she inherently can pick up on the personalities of couples and really try to cater her shooting style to them to make them feel comfortable. When our engagement photos came back, we were absolutely stunned and couldn't wait to have her again for Wedding Day. The wedding itself was a blur, but I remember every moment with Lauren and Wayne, our second shooter. They were a dream to work with, blending into the background and capturing moments that I didn't even know existed! Some of our favorite photos were close-ups of guests' expressions during the wedding; she really knows how to capture the warmth, personality, and small moments. It's incredible that Lauren is still relatively new to the business given the quality of her skills. I just know she's going to a big name in wedding photography someday. I stumbled upon Lauren after seeing photos she shot of a styled shoot that my hairdresser had…read moreparticipated in. When I reached out to her to see if she would be willing to take on a multi-family photo shoot (the families of me and my three siblings) in the hopes to getting a great group shot to surprise our mom with for the holidays, Lauren did not hesitate to respond with enthusiasm and great ideas for how to structure such a shoot. From the get-go she responded to every email quickly and I felt confident with moving forward with her and this somewhat complicated project. As part of her process, she also scheduled a phone call with me to learn about what types of photos we hoped to capture and to learn about each of my siblings and our children so that she would know the names and priorities of this massive group of clients! The day of the shoot, at Piers Park in East Boston, Lauren arrived early and was already set up and ready to shoot when our session time started. She immediately addressed each of my siblings, their significant others and their children by name- her memory for all the information I gave her on the planning call was amazing! It made the shoot feel so personal from the beginning. The shoot involved five children (a 9 month old, 12 month old, 15 month old and two 3 year olds) which had the potential to be a real circus. The kids all took turns melting down, but Lauren never lost her cool and kept coming up with different ways to engage them and to get different pairs of (non-screaming) children together. Her quick thinking and positivity really made a difference to our experience. After the shoot, Lauren delivered us a full gallery of photos within two weeks of the shoot date, as promised in her contract. The photos are AMAZING. She has a real talent. You would never have been able to guess from the photos that it was a gray, cloudy afternoon and that the children had been in meltdown mode. We had so many potential shots to pick from to give to our mom. I cannot recommend Lauren enough for photography- not just family photography but weddings too. I got married two years ago and paid a really renowned photographer to do our pictures, and I am not nearly as happy with those as I am with the ones Lauren took. We cannot wait to engage her for more photos as our little one grows up. She is organized, responsive, talented and just an awesome person!

We met with her twice before the wedding to talk about some specific shots, and on May 1st, she arrived bright and early to our wedding in Portsmouth, NH. She responded very quickly and was able to book soon, which is what we were hoping for. In getting ready for the photo shoot, I messaged back and forth with her about what we should wear, to include sending pictures of our outfits. She gave good feedback and recommendations. I was nervous about making sure we looked good together, but not matching TOO well and looking cheesy. I felt really good about the outfit decisions after working with her, which made me confident in the shoot. We booked an hour long shoot and decided to start in our home and then transition outside. Now my family consists of my husband and me, plus our dog and two cats. Though our pets were not the most cooperative during the shoot, Marina was very patient and happy to work with us to get decent photos with all the pets (yep, even the cats). We ended up spending about 45 min in our home and then drove to a nearby park to take photos outside. Marina found a great spot to start and after taking several shots there, we walked around and went to a spot my husband and I frequented. We spent about 45 min there too, so the total time we had with her was about 1.5 hrs. She did not even mention the extra time and before we were done, wanted to make very sure there weren't any other locations or shots we wanted. We really appreciate the fact that she cared and wanted to make sure we were satisfied. The pictures turned out beautifully. We are very happy with the final product and even the unedited photos are worth printing!
