I have been engaged for about 7 months now and have gotten to enjoy many aspects of being engaged…read more(picking out a wedding dress, the venue, etc.), but my experience with Nate taking our engagement pictures has been hands down my favorite part. First and foremost, Nate is extremely professional and punctual. From our initial contact, to receiving our final pictures, Nate was very candid and clear in his communication. This is something that I truly appreciate because photographers can get very busy in their line of work, but I did not once feel as if I was put on the back burner and always felt like a priority. Whenever I reached out to Nate, he was always very quick to respond. He was also quick in getting our pictures back to us! Nate is also really fun to be around. When taking engagement pictures, there are many location changes and outfit changes that require a lot of public bathrooms and Uber rides/drives! My fiancé and I had the best time running around with Nate--it felt like we were just hanging out with a friend. This was also the case when taking pictures. It didn't feel awkward or uncomfortable to pose. He made us feel very relaxed and natural. Aside from his professionalism and personality, the pictures we received are absolutely timeless. I cannot count how many times people have said to us "those look like they were from a magazine!" I worried so much about our pictures turning out awkward or forced as if we were just any other engaged couple taking pictures, but Nate really captured our personalities and made the pictures unique to us. When I first contacted Nate, I had a particular vision in mind. I live in Florida but my fiancé and I planned to take our pictures in Boston where we met. I told Nate the places I wanted to shoot and what I was thinking--without hesitation he took some shots just as I imagined and I love them. However, the shots he got that were the best and are my absolute favorite were the ones where he asked "do you want to try this?" and we agreed. They were pictures that I would have never thought to take and they turned out amazing. This is why I think Nate is the best when it comes to capturing whatever special moment in your life that needs capturing--he can execute exactly what you are thinking and hoping for, but he can also add something even better than you'd imagine yourself. Having Nate as your photographer for whatever occasion is a decision that you will be glad you made!

We booked her for our wedding in 2020 (not knowing what was to come), and were really impressed when she scheduled an engagement photoshoot with us. We were very camera shy, but she made us feel so comfortable and really helped us come out of our shells for some beautiful photos. We were so excited for the wedding, but were devastated when we had to postpone. Lindsey was super understanding and kept working with us as we worked out a new date in 2021. Luckily, restrictions were loosened a couple months before our wedding so we were on! At first, we were really worried about planning the reception with new restrictions, but Lindsey stepped in and showed us how prepared she was for the changes at the venue. Ask her for the big PDF to get a good idea of how simple she makes the wedding timeline look. We filled out a detailed questionnaire for any special photos we wanted captured, and the people required for our bridal party / family group shots. Even though I thought there were so many requests, "Soccer Mom" Lindsey was amazing on the day of the wedding, getting everyone in and out for photos lightning fast, so that they could go back and enjoy the reception. It was a whirlwind in the moment, but looking back at the photos, we are so happy we got every group shot we requested, and they were all so fun! From morning to late night, Lindsey and her assistant were there for us, rolling with the last-minute issues and focused on making us look great! They really went the extra mile to make us and our families feel comfortable, and worked non-stop the whole day. We really appreciate her style and editing, and were floored with how many amazing photos we got. My wife looks stunning, the venue was mystical, and she really captured how much fun friends and family were having circle dancing at the reception :) Thank you Lindsey for for all of your hard work and effort in capturing our special day

Bruce made my fiancé and I comfortable in front of the camera (a big challenge) and had us laughing and smiling the whole time. Fast forward to almost a year later and we still are so unhappy with our entire collection of wedding photos that we still have not been able to pick any we love to give to our families. We felt rushed throughout the entire wedding and as a bride I did not need the added stress. There were so many photos he took on the beach and like 89% of those was everyone squinting and sweating. He did not touch up or clean up any and we both felt like we looked awful. So many candid photos of the reception too that did not flatter my guests or everyone seemed awkward. I just would have expected more from this photographer. It bothers us that the photos he and his wife took highlighted unflattering facial expressions or body angles. I wish he would have spent more time making sure I was looking happier or smiling or at least not looking stiff and awkward in our poses. It is not easy to be photogenic and it is their job to ensure the pictures come out amazing. You can't take the time back and I am so regretful we didn't research this better or go with someone else who was more professional in their photo shoots. Now we are just left with a bunch of photos that every time we look at ourselves we are so unhappy.

I wasn't sure which I was supposed to book first, the ceremony or the reception, how much time to leave in between, what photos were to be taken, the list goes on - I went in completely blind. What I DID know was the photographs for the big day were my top priority. When I selected my photographer, I did several phone, skype, and FaceTime interviews as I was an out-of-town bride, living in Chicago and getting married in my home state of NJ. Seperate from the obvious - Tav's photos being the most impressive and dynamic/captivating, he was also, far and away, the best communicator which I SO appreciated as a neurotic, detail-oriented person. He was clear and up-front about the time frame I should give myself before, during, and after both the ceremony and reception. He had several extremely reasonable packages to choose from, allowing me to subtract something due to my out-of-town circumstances. He e-mailed me far in advance to get the names/lists of the VIPs that would be photographed that day (outside of my groom and I of course). Both he and his second shooter (who took shots of my groom and his groomsmen beforehand) were on time, professional, and respectful to all members of the family and friend circle. And most importantly, my wedding photos are brilliant. My album and all of the digital copies I have of MY photos are irreplaceable. I honestly can't believe I'm the first person to review Tav and his work on here but I certainly won't be the last. You WILL NOT be disappointed, start to finish, with Tav Images. Thanks Tav!
