I have been working with Dina since April! I started seeing her because I could tell my eating habits were getting out of control and for the past 3 years I was gaining 5-7lbs each year and I knew that if I didn't do something it would get out of control quick. I had tried all the diets and plans out there and nothing worked. I havent been feeling great in general (tired, unmotivated) and felt like I was binge eating often. Dina was great because it became so much more than just having a nutritionist! To me it felt like a therapy session and I mean that in the best way possible! Ive leaned so much about myself. About food. About self talk and mindful eating. It has changed my life. Its changed the way i few foods, the way I think about myself and my relationship with food in general. Its become so much more than just trying to lose weight (which I have lost 5lbs do far!) but more importantly I FEEL amazing. And its all thanks to the help and lessons I've gotten from Dina! read more

I met Dina Feb 2015 and I was very frustrated and needed a change. From my first visit I was able to start implementing things into my life that really made a difference. Her no diet mentality is what has allowed me to over come my food issues and finally get on with my life. I would recommend her 1000% and I look forward to continue working with her for years to come. read more

As a diabetic I have encountered many nutritionist and diabetes educators that only give you rules on what you can and can't have. Vida Nutrition is different, instead they work with you to start changing your mind frame and habits a little bit at a time. Nothing is prohibited or not allowed, which makes it easy to ajust. I find this to be the best approach. read more

I have been striving for some time to get my weight under control, reverse my pre diabetes and renew my hope in better health and wellness for myself. Dina Garcia is the jewel in the crown for me. She is a dynamic coach with superb knowledge in not only the science of how our bodies are fueled but also in our mind body connection and how those influences can save or sabotage us. She is extremely motivating in a way that makes me feel like it is coming from inside me, rather than outside pressure. I leave her office each time with a renewed sense of purpose, a wealth of knowledge, and a determination to utilize everything she has taught me to attain my goals. You will never regret reaching out to her to help you reach your goals. read more

I started with Dina from Vida Nutrition about a month ago. I am type II Diabetic and suffer from high blood pressure. I have been over weight most of my life. But about a year and a half ago I finally decided I had to make significant changes to get healthy and stop the negative spiral I was on. So I have been on a health journey since then and I have done very well, made significant changes in nutrition, stared exercising, and lost 30 lbs but I got to a point where I got stuck. I realized I needed a professional to guide me the rest of this journey to finally get to the healthy strong person I want to be. My personal trainer recommended Dina and I'm so glad I went to her. I did not want a quick fix! I was looking for someone to teach me about nutrition, to work with me to figure out how I could really finally change my lifestyle and become permanently healthy. I needed someone to help me deal with the different situations I encounter and how to make healthy choices. I wanted advice on vitamin supplementation and clean eating. And all these things and more is what I found in Dina. She is very easy to talk to, explains things very clearly and works with me as a partner to answer all my questions and guide me so that I can truly learn. I highly recommend her. Best decision of have made in a long time!! I am sure I will achieve my goal permanently!! Thank you Dina!!! read more
