I had a truly life changing experience working with Michele from Essence Nutrition, and I don't use…read morethose words lightly. What's important to note is that I actually had very good nutrition going into my work with Michele. Before I started working with her, I was already maintaining a very healthy diet- cooking all of my own meals, lots of fresh vegetables and fruit, lean proteins, little to no added sugar in my diet, etc... However, Michele took my nutrition from great to exceptional. I sought nutritional advice for two main reasons: weight management and recovery from ulcers in my GI tract that I have been dealing with for about three years now. Due to issues with ulcers, I had previously been instructed by doctors to go on liquid diets for weeks on end, and have had consistent weeks and months where I was barely able to eat anything due to pain. This caused my metabolism to slow a substantial amount, and started causing me a lot of weight gain when I was able to eat normally and healthily again. After just a couple weeks of working with Michele, she had already taught me so many great techniques and information that I started seeing significant positive change in regards to how I was feeling each day. Michele's simple changes to my diet caused something to happen that I never even thought possible- my ulcerative colitis symptoms went from mild to practically non existent. The intense cramping and pain I used to feel at the end of each day disappeared if I followed the diet as instructed. I was never able to reach these kinds of results, even with the strongest of medication over the span of three years. This dramatically positively impacted my quality of living, which has led to better mood, better sleep, better workouts, and better mental health. The Essence Nutrition system is a great example of getting out of something what you put into it. If you take the advice and recommendations seriously and take the time to input the pictures and descriptions into the "Healthie" app, then you will really benefit from some qualified and thoughtful input from your nutrition expert. I could not be happier with my experience of working with Michele and Essence Nutrition and I can't recommend them enough to anyone who is looking to improve their nutrition, health, and overall quality of living! -Tressa

I had tried all the diets and plans out there and nothing worked. I havent been feeling great in general (tired, unmotivated) and felt like I was binge eating often. Dina was great because it became so much more than just having a nutritionist! To me it felt like a therapy session and I mean that in the best way possible! Ive leaned so much about myself. About food. About self talk and mindful eating. It has changed my life. Its changed the way i few foods, the way I think about myself and my relationship with food in general. Its become so much more than just trying to lose weight (which I have lost 5lbs do far!) but more importantly I FEEL amazing. And its all thanks to the help and lessons I've gotten from Dina!

When I started I was going to orange theory inconsistently but wasn't doing much else and was really out of shape. I met with the owner Eric who helped me pick out which plan worked best for me and gave me a nutritional and supplemental plan as well. I joined mid November and it is now March and I have had so much progress which I attribute mostly to my amazing trainer Cambrya and the team at Era Fit, I was able to lose close to 20 pounds in this time frame and I feel stronger and overall better. I feel like they helped me achieve my results the right way, by being consistent and cleaning up my diet. They have also greatly impacted how regimented I am now, this has helped me tune up my sleeping schedule as well and that was a battle on its own so I am very thankful. And naturally my self confidence and mood has improved. It's a total win win. Cambrya, by the way, was the perfect coach for me, Eric paired me up with her from the beginning and I feel as though she pushes me and is an incredible motivator. She knows what she's doing. Everyone on the team is great as well the other coaches will see you and greet you and they always cheer you on when you're working out which is always so nice.
