This company has policies that make it impossible to cancel the service. To my reckoning I have been bilked of $2400 worth of services that were never delivered. See other reviews for the same reasons: I have a work travel schedule that required me to miss many sessions. Nothing wrong with the trainers! I actually love my trainer Rachel. But the company is just shy of scammers. I made it very clear that I travel a lot and would need to freeze my membership often and that I would need a trainer in another city for two months. The salesperson assured me they had plenty of trainers in that other city and he made NO MENTION of a fee for freezing. I contacted them over and over again with no response regarding freezing my account. Texts and emails went unanswered. I spent the two months in the other city with no trainer assigned to me but they continued to charge me. I sent an email requesting to cancel, again no response and they continue to charge my account. Stay away from this business. read more

At first the rates and the services they offered were good. However, my trainer kept complaining its too far and she cannot come and eventually I ended up having to change my work schedule for her. After using the first 6 months paid in full, I decided to cancel because I could not move my work for my trainer's schedule. I emailed to cancel, i tried to cancel on the app. Above 2 weeks later after i emailed, texted etc. i get a cancellation email and the same week my trainer says she cancelled being my trainer. Weeks go by trying to get another trainer. Had one call for one day, I got sick and ask to reschedule and never heard again from her. Again calling, etc.. Then here is the best part, they continued to charge my card. 600, 600.. So in short, this company is a scam and i would never recommend them again. Ironically i am looking for another trainer but would not use them. I am still fighting with my credit card because they continue to charge me. Stay away. Its a rip off. read more

I have really enjoyed and benefited from my training sessions at home with my trainer, Patrice. She pushes me to reach my best, and she always switches it up with different workouts and fun music to match. She is super responsive, listens to feedback and adjusts as needed. I am sore after every workout! I look forward to my sessions with her, and I have enjoyed getting to know her after many months of working with her. She is a great person to be around, and she inspires me with her work ethic. In addition, the account managers at Svetness have been responsive to questions about my sessions and I have been able to roll unused sessions to the next month which helps when I travel for work. Refused to prove that any of their trainers are certified in response to a serious query on Thumbtack, and that resulted in an immediate rejection. If you're going to consider training me, you first have to prove that you're professionally certified before negotiations can begin. Scam company that doesn't understand research is a two-way street. Brain and I have been working out for a month, his expertise in personal training has help me transform my body in this month. I must admit I was doubtful I was going to get results in such a short time, but I have. I was looking to gain some weight by adding muscle to my thin frame, at the end of the month I gained 3 pounds which shows in my muscle definition. He keeps all the workouts tailored to my skill level, he also makes it a lot of fun. He has a lot of knowledge in the profession which is good for me because I have the motivation for success, I just didn't know how to get there. I started working out in May after more than 2 years not doing any exercise, so I basically didn't have any muscles or resistance. It was great to meet Svetness and my trainer Austin Villanueva to guide me in this process, he's very detail oriented and always brings a different dynamic to exercising (ask him about cognitive training). I was not looking for anything else than felling healthier, improve my sleep quality and gain some resistance - but I'm really surprise with the great result I already have today, even better when I think that he's very careful and spend at least 1/3 of the time on warming up and stretching. Austin also helps me to keep it up on eating better, by providing new recipes and alternatives for traditional diets (I really hate the restrictive ones). Trainer was the best I've ever had. Company was very helpful at first. Then when it came time for the second renewal of my contract for training the trainer and the company didn't show or contact me. When I finally got in touch with the trainer he said the company just said my contract had expired. I tried calling Svetness but the person who answered the phone didn't know to whom I needed to speak. He said someone would contact me but no one ever called. read more

Overall, this company has made me want to get fit and stick with it from the start! I've had a great and positive experience joining in August and meeting André M. When he came to conduct my free consultation, he was friendly, informative and most importantly supportive of my interest to get fit and healthy. He was punctual and delivered on his promises and after signing up, he's made it a point to follow-up as promised. André has been extremely responsive and attentive to all my questions post our initial consultation and quickly resolves any inquiry I have. After my consultation, I was paired up with my trainer Miguel and we've been training for 4 weeks now and it's been amazing. He's been one of the best trainers I've worked with, gets me and my interest and wants and is coaching me along the way. I've already gotten several people at work ask me if I'm "losing weight, as I'm looking slimmer".... so far so good and I can't wait to see what's ahead. This company will try to scam you. I signed up for 48 sessions and they told me my sessions were up half way through the year. Luckily I had saved all the confirmed sessions and texts with my trainer if not I would have no legal backing. I recommend finding a private trainer instead of an intermediary such as svetness. The nutritionist is a one time deal. Very disappointed. They lie to your face about homework sessions and all just to get you to sign for a year. Once you sign you mean nothing to them. read more

I like how Svetness made the process very easy to sign up and affordable. I filled out the questionnaire and was contacted almost immediately which tells me that the company values new perspective clients and monitors their business. They also keep a open line of communication, answering any and all questions or concerns you may have. The profession I am in may cause my schedule to change from one week to the next, but that has never been an issue when I want to schedule sessions. I signed up with Svetness in August of this year. Andre came to my house, agreement for 2 training sessions per week was made. Payment was made. I was contacted by a trainer who came and did an initial assessment. Since then I have not seen a Svetness trainer. The issue I have is that the schedule made with the trainer was not kept. Somehow I could not fit into the trainer's schedule based on my availability. I made a verbal agreement for Tuesday and Thursday and she did not show up on Tuesday. After contacting the trainer i was told that she cannot keep changing the schedule each week for me. This should have been the beginning of the training sessions. I was taken a back that I was paying yet I could not be fit into the schedule. She agreed to come to my house on Thursday. Unfortunately, the trainer had an emergency and had to cancel my session..this was week two and I was yet to receive a training session. The trainer contacted me via text 2.5 hrs before the scheduled session to inform me that she had an emergency and Andre did not respond to her request for a replacement trainer for me With continued disappointment I expressed my displeasure to Andre. He offered a second trainer but never followed through to provide the name or contact information. Based on the interaction I requested a cancellation since I was no longer comfortable with the company. There is a lack of integrity at Svetness based on my experience. I spoke to Andreand requested to cancel and was told that there was nothing he could do and I should email billing. I contacted billing and was told that I cannot cancel since I had one session. I was told that a trainer would be assigned by the latest Wednesday of last week and I should continue my training sessions. The problem with that is, there were no sessions. I emailed billing again and shared that the company has consistently failed to honor their side of the agreement and I have not had any training sessions. I am yet to receive a response from.Andre or billing. Svetness continues to charge me for services they have not provided. I am a disappointed consumer. At this point, I do not want to have a relationship with this company. Based on my experience Svetness has no integrity and cannot be trusted. Again, based on my experience, Svetness charges for services that they do not provide and they show no interest in resolving the issue or ensure the consumer is satisfied. I do not trust this company and would not recommend that anyone sign an agreement with them..all I wanted was to improve my health. I am left with a signed contract and no personal training.
