I think this is a nice park. I went there today for a birthday party through a church…read more The park has two water areas; the main pool and a kiddie playground. The main pool goes up to eleven feet. The kiddie playground area was 1 foot. The kiddie playground area was simple but my son had a blast for the 10 minutes he was able to enjoy it. He kept asking to go back. For whatever reason they closed that side. I honestly think the lifeguard just didn't want to be bothered. He told us he was leaving to go home but 30 minutes later I saw him over by the main pool. Luckily the main pool started at 3 feet and my son was able to enjoy the water although I'd much preferred him on the kiddie side. My son loves water so I always have a mini heart attack whenever he ventures outside of the kiddie section. This pool does offer swimming lessons. It is an 8 week session and it's $40 for north miami residents and $60 for non residents. The swim instructor was present which was a huge plus because I want to sign my son up. I remember wanting to be anywhere but work when I was teenager. And if I'm being totally honest, I still feel that way as an adult! This pool is a little on the small side but I think that's a good thing. However if it gets packed that may not be a good thing.

My kids go to the swimming lessons at the pool. The place is always clean. We have to try it when…read moreit's open to everybody to see how packed it gets.
