FORD DOES not ok the use of aaerosol can as the procedure for diagnosing a vacuum leak. The only diagnosing instruments Ford company approves of is smoke machine or vacuum gouges.
They did everything wrong. They use rtb with the old gasket. They used can carb cleaner they stated. I checked that. Took about 5 sec of heavy spaying directly into different vacuum points before change of idle. I short spray did not effect rpm.
They replaced oe mounting bolts with easy break with 2 regular bolts and one rusty bolt. They left the rear bracket bolt broke off in the basket still. The amount of unprofessionalism is bound to get some over killed. Don't let it be you. Go to greg sweet ford.
