I purchased a 2021 Chevy Bolt in June, 2024 from Victory Chevrolet. I made arrangements to rent a…read morecar and pick it up. Although I had prepaid for the vehicle, when I got to the dealership it took a few hours while they processed the paperwork. I was not offered the vehicle to look at during that time. The salesperson, Tracy, told me that the vehicle was in their shop being fully charged. When we finally finished the paperwork and I was ready to leave, they brought the vehicle out. When I sat in the car I noticed that the range was low, at 80% of capacity. It turned out that that particular Bolt had a battery software patch which limited its range (for several thousand more miles). I was not told this and it was not in the sales literature. It was a problem for many reasons, but at the time I was about 350 miles from home and had planned my return on there being a full charge. Tracy said that the MyChevy App would show charging stations along the way but it was incredibly poor and did not help. Although I made it back, the last 40 miles was at 30 mph so that I would not be stranded on the road. After making it home my daughter pointed out the many small dents in the car. It had obviously been in a hail storm at some point and while they were not deep dents, they were very visible under lower lighting. It is inconceivable that Victory did not know about this but nothing was said. According to the Carfax records the car had been at their dealership for many months. It may be another reason that the car was brought out to me at the last minute. A manager, Josh Bryan, responded to a couple of my emails but essentially said that everything was my fault and that there was nothing he could do. I am stuck with a car that has 80% of its stated range and which will be seriously devalued because of that and the many small dents when I want to sell it. Victory Chevrolet was not forthcoming about the condition of the car and in my opinion withheld it from inspection while I was waiting for over two hours there. I would certainly not recommend their dealership.

The salesman Travis Brooks is the 4/5 star rating because I dealt with him for 2 weeks and my crazy work and personal schedule. He was very nice, and more than understanding, and easy to get along with! No pressure either. I would give him 5/5 but deducted 1 star for the product that I was finally able to come up and see being over priced, over represented condition wise, and not a good value unless they dropped the price in almost half.

-----Bad business alert-----Please read----…read more I have attached documents of the bad business practices. Please note... This is work performed by "Anderson Ford" of St. Joseph. This is work done on my grandmothers Ford Escape with very low mileage. All the details are in the pictures. To begin I believe most of these repairs and recommendations were fabricated and unnecessary to take advantage of an elderly lady in her 70's... ----- The type of grandmother to thank the cashier at the grocery store for being kind, the type of grandmother that still sends birthday cards, makes pies , has a home in disrepair and was a widow at the young age of 53. You know the type of grandmother that reminds you of you're grandmother. The one that you're not worried about making it into heaven . Yes, that one. ---------------- Ok secondly! The Ford Escape! What can I say? What's you're excuse Ford? The work was necessary? What's that say about you're product? And even if the work was necessary... the price? The prices are outrageous. I can't single out any one repair because they are all RIP OFFS. Lastly, Please look at the work done, the mileage , model year, and the cost of the repair... if you don't know what you're looking at, show a friend or you're husband. Please review the documents before purchasing a vehicle or having repairs made at ANY dealership. and just be on the safe side and believe me, do NOT come here for anything! Think about that person in you're life you love and care for that can be taken advantage of. Think if they did that to them and how it would make you feel. Please mark as helpful if this stopped you from making a mistake in coming here. Thank you for reading!

My buying experience…read morewas wonderful, but I'm writing this review because my experience with the service department has been fantastic over this entire time. When I take my car in for routine maintenance, I never feel like they are trying to take advantage of me to get extra work done that I've seen in the past with other dealers. They are honest, and I trust that when they tell me I need something done, I do. I took my vehicle in for a recall update (which they reached out on to schedule) and they found a slow leak in one of my tires and repaired it without charge. I will continue to bring business to them. Hayden and Jake do the best job as advisors in that department. Thanks, guys!

They put me and my family in an unsafe situation and upon returning the car to 'make it right' they only allowed a trade. Then tried to not even cover my loan or give me the $10,000 I put down on the car (only got the loan covered). I am still out money and I only had this car for 3 months-used with 16,000 mi. A noise started and it should have still been under manufacturers warranty, but upon the dealership look over to find and fix the problem, more problems appeared and ultimately deemed unsafe to drive. Things you wouldn't have just noticed with a naked eye if you don't know a lot about mechanics, things that were never noted on the Carfax, things that this dealership said they checked-which they obviously didn't. This car had a complete engine replaced and a lot of things were not correctly replaced or where they should be or connected at all...upon further investigation I found information on the carfax that wasn't there 3 months earlier - long block- you bet your ass I wouldn't have bought this car if I knew that, Ford will not cover this shotty work which was also done at a ford dealership! But to top it off, I truly believe this dealership, Randy Curnow knew some of these things when they sold me the car. I know I had it for 3 months, but if something had happened to me or my family in this car, you would have been paying a whole lot more! I am disgusted, I am disappointed, and you put me in a financial rut and I also was without a car for nearly two weeks trying to figure all of this out. But I can tell you this, if this was your family, you would not be okay with this outcome either. There is way more to this whole situation, but this is a little jist of the story. Randy Curnow swore Pettijohn Ford was going to fix it and have it covered by warranty even though another Ford dealer wouldn't and it had been noted in the ford database of the issues and that warranty would not cover it... check the Carfax people, and even call ford, because I promise you this car was not fixed! DO NOT BUY THE 2024 FORD EXPLORER THEY CURRENTLY HAVE FOR SALE AT THIS DEALERSHIP. VIN 1FMSK8DHXRGA03540-THEY DIDN'T EVEN DO ANYTHING TO FIX THE PROBLEMS ACCORDING TO THE CURRENT CARFAX AND FORD. IT IS NOT SAFE! And I do not want someone else to go through what I had to.
