Dine under the wing of an old fighter plane!
Greg B.

What a fun, new place for a great breakfast or lunch! Enjoy a delicious cheeseburger, or a tasty pizza under the wing of a glimmering old war plane in the Palm Springs Air Museum! (Museum admission is NOT required to dine.) I had the Victory Cheesesteak Sandwich, which was to die for! Best I've had in a long time. The menu is pretty extensive (even a kids menu), including breakfasts, burgers, hot dogs, chicken tenders, several sandwich choices, sales, soups, tacos, burritos, pizzas, and more! Prices are very reasonable, and the service is friendly and fun. Bring the family and make a day of it!

Chicken avocado wrap.

The management has changed as of around February of 2023. They have made improvements to the menu. In addition to the lunch menu they offer a small selection of donuts and pastries in the morning with coffee. I had the chicken avocado wrap with chips. It was larger than I expected and pretty good. Service was quick. A great way to have lunch or a snack while visiting the museum. This is located inside the Palm Springs Air Museum.

11 tots for $3. Ate 3 already. Burger meat is disgusting or their grill is never cleaned. Their food is Smart and Final blah!

It does get full so reservations is the way to go. Good beer, cocktail, marg, taquila menu. Got the Viaje beer which was a stronger tasting lager. 1. Chips salsa Guac - good small spice in the dips. Not too much salt on the chips. Good quality 2. Street corn - definitely comfort food as listed and it was flavorful and comes out hot on a skillet 3. Shrimp tacos - 3 shrimp in each taco. I like that it comes simple with the chipotle aioli on the side and beans rice avocado on the side. Good flavor and not too salty again. Overall a great dinner and if I lived in the area, I would be back easily!

I ordered the shrimp tacos, and they did not disappoint--very flavorful with plenty of shrimp. I also had the pomegranate margarita, which was delicious. I asked for it a little spicy, and it was perfect. My server was a bit lukewarm, but the person keeping my water glass filled was on it! My glass never went empty, and I appreciated that. Great food, great vibe, and I'd definitely come back if I'm in the area again.

I'm not going to lie, I was quite shocked how much this place impressed me. We decided on El Patio…read morebecause we wanted something outside for our meal cuss the weather was great and this place hit the marks. We sat down and were greeted by our waitress who took our drinks. Ordered the passion fruit margarita and it was fantastic. I like that they didn't blend it so the ice wasn't overwhelming. We were given complimentary chips and salsa and vegan gorging our faces with those. We then ordered our mains and this is where there was a slight hiccup. It seems our waitress was new and when we ordered the chicken quesadilla and molcajete she assumed it was she large guacamole, unfortunately that wasn't what we wanted. She came back about 10 minutes later asking what we wanted to order for mains and we all looked at each other like oh this ain't going to go well. When they dropped the chicken quesadilla with the large guacamole we knew the mistake was made. She quickly apologized and said she would make the correction. Although it delayed our meal, we weren't in any rush anyways and the chips kept flowing. The molcajete was absolutely fantastic. It was piled high with meats and grilled cheese and a Chile relleno. The sauce was to die for and was perfect for dipping chips in. The four of us were absolutely stuffed from it as well. Great decision on that for the table. After the meal, despite the confusion in our order, we all agreed when we revisit Palm Springs this place will Be on our list.

I ordered the vegetarian enchiladas and my husband got the shrimp burrito. It came with complimentary chips and salsa, which was nice. We also ordered elote. Elite: 5/5 delicious and fresh Enchiladas: 1/5 horrible - literally the dried, brown ends of kale and a couple canned mushroom slices for the "vegetables." Shrimp burrito: flavorless and mono textured with 3 shrimps, My husband got a Diet Coke, which was $6. No refunds were offered for coke or water. Super disappointed in this place and would not recommend.

It's been years since i was last here. The good old Coachella days. Now, we would usually walk by…read morewalking through town and it's still pretty lively as it's alway have been. In my opinion, it is a major tourist hot sport. But whatever works as it's alway busy and they tend to alway have a live band. People do get up to dance near the outdoor bar. Fast forward to this visit. It wasn't originally the first choice as we were heading to another place up the street. Another tourist hotspot but that had an hour waitlist without a reservation. Second choice and we're back. I did like this place all the prior visit years ago. It was pretty lively both inside as well as the patio area. Along the street, a private event was happening so that brought in a good crowd. There wasn't a wait time when we checked in for the patio seating. Give or take a couple of minutes and we were seated. Within minutes, the place did pick up at the check in. Joshue took care of us last night. First off, the sweetest and friendliest and very welcoming. Not only him but everyone that worked there. All the workers were the sweetest. It's been years since I was last here so the menu was new to me. The way it was set up like a book. Seemed to have everything but also seemed a little all over the place...lol... Chips and salsa was brought out right after we got seated. The salsa was quite tasty but with any Mexican restaurant that offers the chips, DO NOT get full before your meal..lol... Well, we sort of did an also ordered the nachos with chicken for the table to share. Drinks, pretty much a mixture of everything with the top shelf margaritas 17.95, 2 large fruit margaritas at 47.90, and 2 el Diablo at 33.90. Drinks alone was a bill on its own. Quite tasty though. Food, the shared nachos were quite nice. A good amount of chicken with a hefty scoop of guacamole with all the trimming of cheese, tomatoes, onion and beans. A nice little start before the meal. Entrees, the 2 item combo with the tostada with shredded beef, an additional fee and that also came with the chili rellenos and rice and beans but opted for all rice. The fish plate, a nice filet served with rice and mixed sautéed veggies. The 2 item combo burrito with a taco which was pretty big, also with rice and beans. Lastly the carnitas plate with a hefty portion of meat also served with rice and beans and tortilla. Overall, the food was nice. Drinks did have a kick to it. Service was amazing and Joshue was a doll. Took very good care of us and the sweetest as well as everyone else. The place is lively and does get busy. It is a major tourist hotspot as it along the main strip of downtown but worth checking out.

The host staff was amazing and welcoming but once we sat down, everything went downhill. Our server vanished after taking our order, leaving us with zero service the entire time. Thankfully, Miguel, the busser, stepped up and did everything the server should have been doing. He refilled drinks, checked on our food, and made sure we were taken care of. We tipped him based on his service, not the server's lack of it. What crossed the line was the manager coming out after the bill was paid to ask for more money for the server who didn't lift a finger for our table. As a group of mostly former service-industry workers, we were stunned by the audacity and unprofessionalism. This was my first visit to Las Casuelas and it will definitely be my last.
