I accidentally left my debit card at home and did not realize it until I reached my destination. The driver had to leave me at my destination and to add insult to injury I was not able to connect to the internet and get my card info. The woman in dispatch called my phone at least 10 times leaving messages the I was lying about leaving my card and that I wouldn't be able to ride again until I paid. I finally reached my destination and called the dispatcher back with information from another account. She did not even offer an apology for the rude messages that she left. The lesson I learned was not to leave home without a backup card and not to call Victory Cab. And yes I am bitter and taken aback by this incident. read more

I have used Victory Cab service three times. My aim was to be fair and balanced, because I believe in reaching objectivity. A year ago, I called for a ride to the ATL airport. I always call 3-4 days in advance, I always take early flights. And I believe in tipping for service. After all, the drivers are trying to earn a living in a shaky economy. The dispatcher was shrill and rude, and she even called back and hung up on my daughter, who had no clue what was going on. The cab arrived late, with no explanation. The second time I called, the driver did not arrive at the posted time. When I called to inquire as to status, the dispatcher made the absurd claim that there were no cabs. A driver eventually arrived--way late. This morning, May 25, 2023, was the final straw. I called to reserve a ride to the airport, days early, and assumed I had sealed the deal for my early morning flight. The driver was 40 minutes late. I called the language-challenged dispatcher--repeatedly. She was incoherent. When the driver arrived, he told me he had been told that I ordered a van. Nothing could be farther from the truth. I suspect deliberate dishonesty on the part of the dispatcher. As I stood outside, in cold weather, for over 40 minutes, it was clear to me that Victory Cab is a bad actor, and not a good business to patronize. A patient and fair-minded person, who is slow to anger, and strives to be fair, I will never patronize this business again; there is zero customer care. read more

Used service and first driver was asking me personal questions which was uncomfortable letting me know he stayed in the complex, asked me how long I stayed there. I told him I do not discuss personal. Then the machine was acting up. I was already late to work he kept doing something with machine. I sat there a couple mins. I had to go so i called it in. The next time it was with a guy who was rude. I live on lower lever and the complex has buildings lower on opposite side. On my paperwork it stated lower. He was at other buildings. I called and when he got to me. He was so rude and yelling. I tried to apologize he told me he been driving 20 years and he knows building etc..yelling. Then told me he know about me and he wanted to be paid upfront. I am like ..know about me. I got number of mgr called left message no callback. I called this cab company at 11:30 pm, I am at a waffle house, with another girl. We finish our meal walk outside and waited for about 20 min. I get calls from the cab guy and he is 10 mins away. 30 mins later I called the cab company. The driver decided to pick up another fare and left two women at a waffle house near 285. My phone was also dying. My friend would not walk anymore, and I was about to walk in the dark, it was about 1 am in the morning. I finally get a call, 2 miles $20. These guys are the best I called 3 other companies for a ride home from the supermarket after my bikes battery died and they didn't want to come But Victory was great. The operator was very kind and professional the Cab was prompt,clean, and the driver was very friendly. I use taxi service a few times a month for my job in different cities in the south and trust me there are some bad companies out here with drivers with bad attitudes and filthy cabs. I literally went around a corner from apartments next to Publix to Publix well vice versa. The taxi driver charged me $6 when the meter said $2.75 When we arrived I asked why it cost so much to go around a corner he said Ridley "I've got to make a living too"! Then while I begin to remove my groceries he sat in the car after opening the trunk. No help just sitting so my family came out in pj's to help after we got fido shed my Mom felt it only fair that we leave the trunk like he left it...open. It was kinda karma funny to watch him sit there until he figured out he'd at least have to get out to close it. I called to make a complaint & found he over charged me $2.00!! I had THE COPS CALLED ON ME while using this service. I rarely ever need to hail a cab but due to certain circumstances I had to call victory cab - the driver was a nigerian man (i know because i am a nigerian woman) and he ignored my fiance and i the entire ride, spoke loudly on the phone, and was extremely rude on the drop off. I asked what the cost of the ride was and saw that it was 5.50 on the dashboard although he said it was $6 and so i paid $5.50 for poor service. He threw the 50 cents back and continued to say it was $6 and even raised it to $7 saying he was trying to be nice before. His attitude spiraled and he began yelling at my fiance and I. We got our stuff out of the trunk and proceeded to our business and 5 minutes later there were cops outside looking for us. After telling the cops ohr side of the story they sided with us and let my fiancé and I go - but the cab driver was still flicking us off and mouthing horrible words to us although we had done nothing to him . The stars are for the female in Dispatch. She was sweet, kind understanding and went out of her way to help. She typed in all the instructions for the driver. I am a semi truck driver. I was broke down on the interstate. I needed coolant from the Petro Travel Center brought to me. The coolant was prepaid. The instructions said the go to the fuel isle where the semi trucks fill up and go inside that store to pick up a package for Chevy. Simple. The driver #924, of car #129 was rude and a thief in my opinion. Dispatch did the miles from Petro to me and it was only 6.6 miles. The traffic at this time of day the GPS traffic report says is 11 min. He called from the travel store of the Petro. He was rude and short that he was there to get a person and wasn't waiting. I explained he had to go to the fuel isle. He got short and said he wouldn't. I explained that was the ride. He finally went to the right store. I heard him argue with the Manager of the Petro. He was loud, rude, short, and mean. He left the Petro at 10:56 and called me that he was stuck in the right lane of traffic 1/2 mile away at 11:29. I watched and counted 22 semi trucks and 14 cars move in the right lane passed my parked truck on the shoulder in a 3 minute time frame. He said traffic was still and he couldn't move. He called at 11:42 that he was here. He was rude when I approached. He demanded $30.75. Dispatch had stated $14 was milage fee. I understand extra for traffic, but I know for a fact that he started his meter when he arrived at the wrong part of the Petro until he arrived at the shoulder of the road. He also, was sitting on the side of the road and running the meter. I know for fact traffic was moving. I have driven professionally for over 30 years. I know he cheated me. Dispatch agreed to put in a complaint to management for me. I am satisfied with her. She is why I give them a 3 Star rating. read more

All the taxis I took told me to pay after it's 2 of them sayin I had to pay 12$ round trip for just a mile away

I didn't want to believe all the negative posts, but it's all true. The first trip was ok but the driver would not take a card - cash only. He also didn't have the address after we gave all the information on the phone. The second trip was bad. The driver asked how much was charged the last time and wanted to "work out a deal" by making the cost less. He stopped for gas after 1 mile. He would not give a receipt and would not take a card. He also didn't have the address and took 10 minutes playing with his GPS trying to find the location 5 miles up the road. The whole trip he spent complaining about how poor he was and when cash was given he spent a few minutes trying to find change. We ended up just letting him have the change ($5+). We'll chalk it up as stupid tax since we'll never use them again. read more

Not sure why the bad reviews, but I used them twice in the last two days and had great service. Each time I called the number, I waited for less than 10 minutes. My husband called for a cab. They told him they would arrive in 20 minutes. 42 minutes later he called back to ask when they would actually get there. They said they were five minutes away. 26 minutes later, Victory cab called back to tell him they would not make their original 20 minute ETA. ( ah, duh!) They were going to be another 20 minutes. At 2 hours and thirteen minutes from the original call, Victory called again and asked if my husband was still waiting. When he was told that the driver was 15 minutes away and "nobody was working in that area tonight", he told them to just forget it. Next time, we won't be calling Victory cab of Marietta, that is for sure. read more

When it was 30 minutes late, she told me she didn't have any cabs in the area and I should probably find another way to get there. I called an hour and a half in advanced as prompted by the women I spoke with the day prior to on the phone who told me to call 45 mins- 1 hour before I needed them. Still I new I still needed more time to feel safe so I gave them an hour and a half. When the time came for them to be here to pick me up, they were no where to be found. So I called them to figure out there location, the lady told me they'd be here within the next 15 mins... 15 mins later no taxi, so I called again, she then told me 5 minutes.... 15 after that a cab finally pulls up causing me to be a half an hour late. The driver was not very friendly and the smelled like cigarettes and dog. I would not recommend them to even an enemy. First of all let me say I don't write reviews normally, but bad experiences will do that. This company deserves no stars. I have used victory cab from my location several times and the rate has been the same each time....well today I got a new driver. First, the company gave him my room number, but the driver waited in the front while I was outside the whole time waiting in the back. I ALWAYS tell them my room is in the back because in the past they don't know where it is.... So when I get in the cab the meter was already at 2.75 And the driver said it was because after 5 mins they start the meter. I have no issue with that but he was waiting in the wrong place or I would have been there as I was. When we arrived to the destination I told him all I was paying was 10.00 because that's what I normally pay as I have used this company before!! He threatened to call the police and began to raise his voice at me. I called the company and the guy who answered was very rude and said the driver has every right to cal the police. I work hard for my money and the extra 3 dollars is not the issue....the issue is how rude AMD unprofessional the driver and the company are. I was on the phone with my sister the whole time while it was happening so the call is recorded and how he was speaking to me. Don't use this cab company because they are rude and dishonest. Victory cab will never get another dime from me...friends, family and whoever else will be notified and I hope they lose all their business. They showed up over an hour late, and they were surly and stand-offish when I asked them why. They simply stated that "they can never really say exactly when they will be there". What?! Further, a driver named Peter cursed me out when I asked him why he was taking a route that was ten miles longer than any route that the GPS gave.
