After receiving a couple of estimates of $1,100-$1,200, a couple of people recommended Nemeth Glass, so I contacted them. Their offer to replace the windshield was about $300 less than their competitors'. I arrived at the facility at 7:00 am and left at about 7:30 am, paying the low price they had given me. But even more impressively, in late December of 2025, a truck in front of me kicked up a stone that caused a large divot in my windshield. I called Nemeth, and Jerry, the owner, told me to bring it in, which I did a day later. Once again, I arrived at 7:00 am and was out by 7:30 am, with the divit completely repaired. Both times, I spent the 30 minutes waiting in Jerry's office, where he supplied me with good coffee and conversation. When I asked Jerry for the bill, he said, "No charge - merry Christmas." One guy came to my apartment, informed me that the table was from the 1970s, which I know for a fact was my great-grandmother's from 1918 or so. anyway. He didn't fix the leg correctly, as it was still loose. He told me to let it sit for a day. I did. When I looked at it the next day, it was still loose, and when I attempted to move it back into place, the entire leg broke off. I called them, and he came back out, did something to fix it, but it is still loose and not fixed correctly. They did work for me in the past, framing, rushing a chair, but this time I just ate the money. The chairs are ok now, but the leg, I guess, he just couldn't admit it was beyond his scope. I didn't call again. Id rather eat the money I spent on this than have this guy return.
