Callier Thompson had renovated one of our 2nd floor bathrooms almost a decade earlier. I was more than surprised to hear they would send a foreman out to investigate the source of the leak. Matthew arrived to discover that after years of use a small area in the grout had deteriorated to allow water through. He cane several times to repair the grout, removed and replaced the damaged area of the ceiling re-sanded and repainted.....all done free for us! You don't find that kind of support often these days. The original project consisted of a complete remodel of a full bathroom in our 1920's home, of which we enjoy today as much as when the remodel was done 13 years ago. The second project comprised of a two-story addition with completely remodeled and expanded kitchen and half bath on the first floor, and a new primary suite luxury bath, walk-in closet, laundry closet, and covered porch on the second floor. The job required coordination with the city architectural review board, an architect, engineer, and sub-contractors, all handled by Callier & Thompson in a professional and timely manner. We highly recommend this firm for their customer service, design capability, high quality products, and outstanding craftmanship. We look forward to working with them again! --David & Kristina

When my half bath was due for a major refresh two years ago, a friend suggested I go to Norm's Bargain Barn. Concerned that a 'bargain barn' would have lesser quality vanities, quartz countertops and vanity hardware, I hesitated at first. From the photos I posted here nothing could be further from the fact. Loved the results. My husband and I just moved into a new home (built 5 years ago) with a half-bath that lacked quality. First call was to Kourtney Nyga who once again did not disappoint! She 'gets' me and knows my taste. Second time choosing a vanity, countertop and hardware just as effortless as first. Cannot wait to see final install next month. Kourtney is attentive to detail, responsive, knowledgeable. I definitely will seek Kourtney and Norm's Bargain Barn when we undertake the daunting task of completely overhauling full baths in new home. Thank you!

Our projects: - complete resurfacing of our old white cabinets replacing the doors, drawers and the outside finish. After 10 years, they still look and function terrifically. We can easily go another 10 years - resurfacing of two bathrooms including our large dual vanity cabinets. After five years, the quality and workmanship is holding up and continues to look great - recently, a significant leak under the sink in our kitchen island caused damage to a good amount of the cabinetry work. Jeff was able to remove the damaged cabinet surfaces, color match new coverup material and install everything as good as new! Value is reasonable easily costly far less than 50% of what new cabinets would cos

We were very disappointed in the service we received. We started around November, of last year,…read morewith measurements, of our kitchen cabinets. About a week later, Laurie e-mailed us and said Jeff 's Dad needed to come out, and take a few more measurements. Then about a week later, they needed to do more measurements. When Jeff first came to look at our kitchen, he made it look, and sound like, the refacing of our cupboards would be a normal job.He gave us no reason to think the job was going to be complicated. Then a week or two later, he told us that our cupboards, were odd sizes, and he recommended we replace the top cabinets with new ones. He said 12 in. are the standard sizes, so that's what we went with. The cabinets came in, and the refacing cabinets arrived, and sat in my dining room for several weeks. Jeff's excuse was, " This is a more complicated job", He would come on a Sunday, and not come back for 7-14 days, leaving our house in shambles. We let them know we were concerned about how long the job was taking, Jeff's answer, " The job is more complicated." This was his excuse all the way through the project. We asked why he didn't finish the job in 3-4 days, like he told us in the beginning, his answer was the same. He finally said the job was done, and we came home to a door still off, where the garbage cans would go, tile still off the wall, that he said he would fix, and pin holes in the crown molding, that he didn't bother to cover up. Mind you, he asked us to please leave the payment on the shelf that day. In the meantime, the cabinets he put up, left about a 3-4 inch part of the wall, uncovered, where there is old wall paper etc. He made no mention of how we were to fix this area on the walls, in front of two cupboards. There was crown molding not cut right, looked jagged. We had to repeatedly ask him about these problems. It is now February 14th, and he just came back out, to supposedly fix the pin holes, in the crown molding. You can still see the pin holes. The cabinets look nice but the job was not anything like we expected. We feel Jeff should have noticed that the 12 inch cabinets were too small and suggested 14 inch. He never told us ,that there would be an area in front of the cabinets, that would be bare. He replaced a couple of tile very sloppily, I could have done a better job. This job started out being quoted to us at around 6,000 dollars. It ended up costing us almost 10,000 dollars. We also asked Jeff why, if we had brand new cabinets up on top, why didn't he just suggest we get completed cabinets to save time and money. He said to me that you wanted the refacing done because of the granite countertops. That is true, initially, but when the plan changed, he went ahead, and just refaced new cabinets, which cost us alot more. Then, when my partner asked him again about just putting up new cabinets, he said the company he works with only makes doors.... We've had drawers and our cupboards emptied since December. The whole house was a total disaster. Very disappointed.
