Had a great experience with the salesman Mike. He made our purchase easy. He took the time to find exactly what we wanted.

Be very careful with a salesman named Michael Armour. He may show what's real Good but when you have problems with the car he sold you, he won't take care of you! He won't call you back and he won't admit he knew the car was a piece of junk! A friend of mine bought a car shortly after I did and now it's sitting leaving her making a payment and catching rides to work!!! read more

This dealership's reliance on bait-and-switch tactics is unacceptable. I drove over five hours round-trip in pouring rain and hazardous traffic conditions specifically to purchase a vehicle, only to be told upon arrival that it had been sold the previous day. Despite being in active text communication with Kaitlyn the days prior and EVEN THE morning of my trip, she failed to provide this critical update, showing a complete lack of professional due diligence. I arrived with my trade-in prepared and title in hand, only to be met with a dismissive attitude; Kaitlyn actually chuckled through the interaction, demonstrating zero accountability for the significant time and effort I wasted. Prospective buyers should be wary: this appears to be a systemic issue here. I am looking into formal reporting options, as these deceptive trade practices are not just poor business--they are illegal. *Edit 1 month later I thought I'd look to see if the truck in question is still being used as bait...it is. It's all anyone really needs to know about this dealer, they don't really care apparently. We're still moving forward with more formal complaints at the moment. If we can save anyone some time and money then it'll be worth our hassle. read more

Victoria Dodge - The vehicle is still up and online - Car Dealers Near Me - Victoria, Texas

I have a 1994 van which I had towed to the dealership for brake issues. the second day after it arrived I called to check the status of the vehicle. my service advisor stated they would not work on the car. literally minutes later I received a text outlining the proposed repairs that stated I had declined the repairs even though I had never been contacted. don't know about sales but service department definitely not recommended read more

I purchased a new truck at Victoria Dodge and my experience was excellent. JT was my salesman and he was excellent. He took me on a test drive that checked all my boxes. He answered all my questions and the sales process was smooth and easy. My sales experience was low pressure. I do not recall the name of my F&I salesman, he was wonderful as well. Low pressure experience going through the various service and warranty offerings. I was pleased with the financing. The staff was prompt and courteous. I wanted to share my experiences at Victoria Dodge, I recommend this dealership. read more

BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Victoria Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram - Dishonest, Unprofessional, and a Complete Waste of Time! If you're thinking about buying from Victoria Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram (5507 NE Zac Lentz Pkwy, Victoria, TX 77904), do yourself a huge favor and stay far away. I had one of the worst dealership experiences ever here. The staff, including sales manager Lloyd Watkins and sales rep Juloney Barnes, showed zero regard for the customer. They made empty promises, lied to get me to drive two hours to their dealership, only to completely waste my time. They told me a deal was approved, had my girlfriend co-sign for financing, and assured us everything was ready. We both cleared our schedules, missed work, and traveled a long distance just for them to rescind their offer at the last minute with no real explanation. Their behavior was deceptive, unprofessional, and downright disrespectful. On top of that, they ran my credit multiple times without consent, causing unnecessary hits to my credit score, just to pressure me into purchasing their overpriced Ram TRX. They don't care about their customers -- they care about trapping you into a bad deal. Lloyd Watkins and Juloney Barnes are prime examples of what's wrong with this dealership: they break promises, mislead customers, and waste your valuable time with no accountability. No dealership that treats people this way deserves to stay in business. Future customers, beware. Avoid Victoria Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram at all costs. They will lie, waste your time, damage your credit, and leave you with nothing but frustration. Places like this need to be shut down. read more

Poor customer service, salesmen don't follow thru on what they say they will do for you

victoria dodge, home of the bait and switch. worst experience!!!!! you need to record conversations, text or email because they lie. do not be foolish and drive from a distance because the advertised price is 6k less than your final price. i know from experience. read more

A $36k price tag online turns into a $47k in person because you have to qualify for every single discount, even though that is stated nowhere. Another thing is majority of there new vehicles have about 4k miles on them since they loan them out (dealers words). Last thing is to check for rust. Unfortunately after purchasing a new vehicle and crawling under to check for the spare tire, I learned the majority of components and frame are terrible. They are selling "new" vehicles that are basically used. read more

Internet sales rep will lie and tell you the price you are firm on is totally doable. You'll drive to the dealership and finance will tell you it's absolutely not. We drove 2.5 hours (each way) to buy the car because we were told they would be able to make the deal happen. Needless to say we are taking our business elsewhere and suggest you do too and don't waste your time. read more

If I could give a negative star, I absolutely would. This dealership is an absolute joke with probably the WORST customer service I have EVER experienced (and I have bought many many many vehicles in my 51 years). First off, We were IGNORED, and not even greeted for 45 minutes when we walked into the showroom floor. We had to go to the reception desk to ask for help and still blown off or was made a low priority. We were there to purchase an $83K vehicle that was on the lot that very day. When the one sales rep (who was the only one I saw running around doing anything in our 45 minute wait) finally addressed us, we test drove and said we wanted it. We started the paperwork and that was another 2+ hour disaster with an insulting and ridiculous offer. After 2 hours (above and beyond the 45 minutes we sat unacknowledged) of them "working up" our offer, I said We have to go because we had to be somewhere else and we were already going to be late. We put down a $1000 deposit to hold the truck and requested a call with the numbers that they were working on. All that was said is "okay". We Didn't hear from anyone so a couple hours later I text our sales rep and asked him where we were at and he said they were dealing with customers that are physically there and that they don't negotiate over the phone and that they were close to what we "wanted" and asked when I could come in and sign the papers. I said no problem, I will call my credit union on Monday and secure financing there. Credit is excellent btw and we weren't negotiating the price of vehicle, we were more than willing to pay for the price on the sticker. . We were told that Victoria Dodge doesn't accept outside lending. Biggest crock of $h1t I have ever heard. I have found a vehicle, negotiated over phone, email and text and SIGNED paperwork remotely AND had a vehicle delivered to my driveway. Maybe Victoria Dodge should take notes. All the sales rep kept asking is when we could come in and sign the papers (but wouldn't give me numbers) Oh and one more point.... The truck had a recall so we got to sign paperwork, sign over my trade-in and not get our new purchase for 2-3 weeks. They did give me a dirty loaner with no gas. I guess a clean and fueled one would have been too much to ask for. I was being pushed to come back in to sign paperwork right away so the truck could be ours. In hindsight, I should have told them to fix the recall and then we would be back to sign. Afterall, they did have a deposit that they would not refund to us and would only apply to the purchase of that vehicle. OH!! but wait, there is more!!! the incompetent sales or finance manager (not sure which one) screwed up the financing and had to send a courier for me to resign paperwork AND sent the courier with ZERO explanation as to what had changed or why. To make things worse I couldn't get immediate help by sales rep(Michael) or finance manager(Brad Reynolds) when I tried to call them because they were busy with customers "that were there in person." I asked MANY times for copies of what was signed by both parties. I had to request several times to get it even after I had picked up the truck. I signed original paperwork on July 25th. Resigned on 8/5. It is now August 20th and my lender for the SUV trade-in still does not have a payoff check from Victoria Dodge. Oh guess what, I am now delinquent on a vehicle that I haven't owned since July 25th. I was warned about this dealership and BY GOLLY, they have lived up to the reputation. The ONLY reason we did not walk out of the dealership within the first 45 minutes of our visit is because we know that the truck we needed to pull our camper is in short supply. Hell will absolutely freeze over before I ever step foot into or refer Victoria Dodge. And you can bet your ass I will spread the word very loud and clear. read more

Will never recommend buying a vehicle from this place.I called before I came 2 hours from out of town to look at a specific vehicle. I was able to look at it and test drive it. Start the buying process and they do not want to honor the price the vehicle was advertised on the net. The sales person knew I was coming and said that was the correct price before I came. Get to buying and they try to add on $6,000 in extra fees. Sales manager Ross came to talk to us and was very rude and condescending. Acted like they had all these discounts and then hike it up $6,000 to the sticker price. Buyer be ware. read more

I am blown away at how efficient the guys are at Victoria CDJR. Ross and Keith deserve a special thanks and went out of their way to make sure when I arrived from California that the truck was ready to go and all I had to do was sign documents. Everything that was on the invoice when I showed up had already been disclosed to me and there were NO surprises. I appreciate that. The 3500 LongHorn I purchased was in excellent condition and was able to make the trip up to Dallas with zero hiccups. Thanks to Howard for actually following through unlike most dealers and mailing me out the second key for the truck. These are the the guys I will be purchasing all my trucks from. Great work guys. read more

We made an appointment with the manager, James. We showed up on time and he was not available. We waited for one hour. A salesman helped us however we did want to meet with the manager. I was in the market a year ago for a new truck and inquired with Victoria Dodge. I ended up purchasing a truck from another dealer, but I continue to get calls from Victoria Dodge even though I've said I'm no long in the market and do not want to be contacted. In the latest call, the woman wanted to argue with me about when I made my inquiry saying it was a couple of months ago. Extremely rude and I will never look to this dealership for future business read more

David Herrera financial manager is very rude and won't stop arguing with you. I had to back out of a deal cause I didn't have a co signer and I asked for my down payment back and all he did was argue and pretty much say he couldn't give my down payment back! I finally spoke to another manager and he is supposed to have taken care of getting my down payment back! Poor customer service will never go back to them! read more

This place is not reputable. Gave me a total price on a truck including all ttl and dealer ads. Went by this dealership today to make a purchase with a vehicle I had seen online. When it came down to getting me the price for the truck they seemed shocked. I was asked, "dont you want to trade your truck in"? I said it depends on the price of the vehicle. So then they came back with, "what is your max monthly payment you would like to have"? Seriously?! This isnt my first vehicle purchase. Again I asked, what is the bottom line price for this truck? I was basically told the same price that was on the internet. What happened to all of your incentives? They suddenly all dissapeared?! So I counter-offered to see if they really wanted to sell this truck. No counter-offer was given in return and was told it was impossible. Really?! Dont waste your time at this place! They are looking to INFLATE their pricing, not give a good deal. I do realize all dealerships need to make money, but royally screwing over your customers is unethical. read more
