I do think the Beginner Ballet sessions are on the short side (they are only 45 mins) and as a result are better suited for people looking to refine their technique than complete beginners who need to build foundations. Strength and Stretch is also probably best suited to experienced dancers, as the class has students doing crunches for consecutive minutes with no breaks and going into straddles, side splits, and advanced yoga poses with very little preparation and no modifications (this class is also only 45 mins, so warm up and cool down are quite brief). I would rate my experience as a novice to dance as 3 stars, but more experienced dancers may get more benefit from these particular classes, and it seems the ballroom classes are much more popular and well reviewed. This is a convenient location right off Foothill Expressway with ample parking in the back. There are classes in other dance styles (especially ballroom) almost every day of the week, so I may try those another time.

This studio has challenged her and she has grown so much to be a better dancer and person. I wish I had moved her to this studio sooner. The teachers and staff are all wonderful. If there is any concerns addressed they do their best to resolve it. When greeting on phone, I believe they should say their name first so It sounds more welcoming. And not so stiff sounding. Especially, since the person on the other end of phone probably doesn't know how sweet the office Staff are.

I have never more happy about a decision I've made. Not only has she drastically improved in just two years, getting a title, scholarships and awards to boot. But, more importantly we've found a new incredible family. These kids and parents all truly care about each other and it's so beautiful. No drama just unbelievable support and great vibes. The teachers are the most amazing humans who truly care about your kid and have a great balance of cheering them on and guiding them to their best potential. I adore every single one of them. They have given my daughter (and I) so much love and support that I'm forever grateful for. I also take their adult classes which has been the most amazing experience for me as well. Yes, it's great fitness and fun. But it has also honestly been such a light in my life on my darkest days and been so great for my mental health. Okay, as far as I know, it's the only place that offers adult contemporary. Luckily, it's a great class. Adrienne Foley is a beautiful, relevant, and attentive instructor. I am thrilled to have found her class at Zohar. Kristine Elliott's ballet class was challenging and fun. Unfortunately, I'm usually unavailable during her classes. After Adrienne's class on Mondays, a group of flamencos wait to start their class. It's so great to have a studio nearby with several options of dance styles. The studio is down the long drive off of Middlefield and left, once you get to the parking lot. Parking can get hairy at 6pm (parents picking up their kiddos), but if the large lot fills up, there's plenty of street parking.

Nadeen and all the teachers inspire and invigorate their students--highlighting the importance of confidence and believing in themselves--all the while motivating them to do their best and achieve excellence. The choreography and range of technique is amazing. More importantly, the social emotional learning is very special - especially in dance. The recitals are so so well put together, with professional sound, lighting, costume, and choreography, which is surreal considering that it organizes hundreds of kids into so many back-to-back ~3 minute dances. Luna also feels like a space for inclusion whether the kids are rapidly advancing in skills and there to be with friends and have fun. My daughter has done 4 recitals, and I've done 8 (in the adult hip hop class). We've loved every minute and can't recommend it enough!

Let's…read morejust say I am on the large size, and I don't always feel comfortable dealing with fitness people, but this has not been the case at all with FIT. I am working remotely with their trainer Jeff. With a relatively small investment I have all of the equipment I need to transform my family room into a workout space each morning. I work out through face time with 3 other women, each of whom are in much better shape than I am. Jeff tailors a program for each of us, so that we are doing similar exercises at the same time fitting each of our needs. He has been particularly good at helping me find ways to continue to work out despite some knee issues. He is amazingly responsive. What I'm enjoying most is the balance in the workouts between strength training and cardio. By the end of every workout I really feel a sense of accomplishment and have worked up a good sweat. I feel that great feeling of having worked hard and accomplished something, but I don't feel so exhausted the rest of the day that my day is shot. I feel revved up rather than beaten down. If your looking for a way to workout from your home, I would give FIT a call. I find the cost reasonable. You don't need your own home gym just some weights, an adjustable weight kettle ball and a mat will get you started. I highly recommend.
