Bad last experience! What happened? I chose to help a local business but this place didn't come through. Not sure why. No explanation. Two weeks ago I brought a trench coat in to be shortened: quite a bit actually, about 9 inches to fall just at the knee. The young man was so friendly. "This is really nice fabric. So much material to come off, I could make something out of this. I have done it many times before". Very friendly and enthusiastic about his work. I felt at ease. "$25 dollars since there is no lining and it is a simple hem". Wow! Great price, I thought. I was told to return one week to pick it up. I had returned that week, the "open" sign was in the widow, but the door was locked. I thought I could call or check the website when I got home. I called, no answer, and no way to leave a voice message. I went to the website and sent an email. Another week passed and no response. CoVid-19 must be why they are closed, I thought. A few more days had passed. I was driving home from the pharmacy and saw the "open" sign in the window, the windows and door open. They must have re-opened. Great! I stopped in. The young man who had impressed me was there. "We're closed. I could be fined with you in my shop". I apologized, explaining that I thought the shop was open and turned to leave. The young man stopped me, "Are you here to pick up an order? What is your name? Since you are here, I will let you pick up your garment. It is the white spring jacket, right? It is $65". Wow! . . . big jump from the $25 I was told when I dropped off my trench coat. Apparently, you could read that in my facial expression because the young man then said, "Well . . . since there was no lining, $45". Since I did not have that much money on me, I brought out my debit card. "No, the machine is not working. How much cash do you have?" I counted out all my cash, I had $31. "That's o.k., we will call it a blessing". He offered no receipt, and I assumed he wanted to touch as little as possible, so I thanked him. He handed me my trench coat. I thanked him and apologized again. I wished him and his family well, and left. When I got home and took the coat out of the plastic, I saw that the garment was not shortened. No work had been done. It was exactly the same length, just above my ankles. My husband asked me if I wanted to go back, I said no, I gave him cash, he did not give me a receipt, I had no proof. In times like these it is never kind to take advantage. I believe in supporting small businesses in my community. I am thankful that he wanted cash. If he had accepted my debit card, I would have been out $45. For a small alteration I had not considered checking reviews, but had I done so, I would have read the other reviews that said exactly the same thing: opened the garment at home and realized the work had not been done. I would not recommend this tailor. And it pains me to say so. As an educator, and having served in the health professions my entire life, I serve others compassionately. This experience made me lose trust in people. read more

Do Not go to this Tailor ! June 2020 went in for a custom . Two months later nothing was happening as far as progress. So I asked for refund in The beginning of August. Still currently waiting for my refund and its August 31st . Supposedly the owner is the only one that can full fill refunds but he is "out of the country " . Terrible! I dropped off a sleeping bag for dry cleaning on a Saturday and was told it would be ready the next Saturday. Went back a week later and they had not touched it. Was told they would do it right away and call me. Guess what? No call. Went back a week later and was told they can't do sleeping bags? They put on a new zipper though, something I did not need or asked for. What a joke! read more

If I could give them 6 stars I would! The staff were so very friendly and accommodating to my last minute wedding dress alterations. They welcomed me with open arms with only a few weeks before my wedding and were able to alter my dress perfectly in a short amount of time. I'm so happy with the results, it looks absolutely perfect! I was also shocked by how affordable it was! I paid a fraction of the cost for what I've paid in the past at other tailors (on bridesmaid dresses that needed even less work done). I came to this tailor because I heard rave reviews about their work and about their staff and I'm happy to be able to pass along those rave reviews to others myself! read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS TAILOR!! If I could give zero stars, I would most definitely give zero. This tailor is literally unresponsive. My fiancé went to this tailor in June 2020 for a custom suit. We then also took our sons suit to be tailored to him there as well hoping we'd have an update of the custom order in August 2020 and still no pieces had been put together. We had to reach out several times to even find out status of suit with none to be given. Requested refund and owner Mert literally was not even a bit remorseful. Worst part, we had to call the shop to follow up on refund, only to find out that Mert is not even in the country and he is the only one who can approve refunds. Fast forward to now and we still have no idea when we will be receiving a refund and Mert has not responded to ANY of our calls/texts. This is the most unprofessional company we've ever come in contact with. Wedding is in October and you'd think to keep a business running, your customer service would be top notch. read more
